281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 30, 2018, 12:35:14 PM
Did you guys saw that video of LeBron James saying that he'd vote for himself as MVP. He is definitely having one of the best seasons of his career despite being 33, but James Harden for me personally is the MVP this season. I kinda felt a disrespect towards Harden from James. They are both outstanding players but Harden is leading the NBA in scoring and has never had a bad streak like James' in the month of January. This is just my personal opinion don't get offended if you're a LeBron James fanboy. Let's have a discussion about this.
We are on the same perspective and we have the same opinion, thanks for sharing your thoughts, i think James Harden really deserves this year's MVP
If there is a betting on who will be winning the MVP award this season, I would certainly put all my money on James Harden.
His team is number 1 this seasons and in his time in Houston he never achieve that big success, thanks to Paul the chemisty is good.
I think regular season MVP and Finals MVP would be good for Harden.
I agree with you, this is James Harden's year to be chosen as a MVP of the NBA. They are the number one team right now in the western conference and had a good chance of dethroning the Golden State Warriors.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: March 30, 2018, 09:32:01 AM
Possesses bitcoin as well as holding a gun  Huh Smiley Huh
http://bitcoinnews.com/cryptocurrencies-gun-crime-canada/
Owning bitcoin is not a crime, the crime there occurs when you buy something illegal using bitcoin. The problem here if someone will set up a black market for his contraband and accepts digital currency as payment but i think it is traceable. Not good for illegal activities if this digital currency is traceable.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How volatile is BitCoin? on: March 29, 2018, 01:24:23 PM
How does the BitCoin rise in future depending on how volatile is BitCoin?
Bitcoin is very volatile that you should be strong enough to withstand it if you have a cryptocurrency portfolio. The price of bitcoin is dependent on the market, whenever people dump their coins so we can expect a decrease in price.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse on: March 29, 2018, 10:39:00 AM
Manny Pacquiao switched to the Muslim religion? He was Catholic before was he not? As most of the Philippines are of Christian and Catholic faith. As I last checked it was something like 65-75%.
Wouldn't this affect his political advancements in the polls next election? And even affect him trying to become president of that country next administrative term?
Now this gets more interesting when there's the political topics and discussions enters through the topic.

- Manny isn't switching to Muslim, he's a born again Christian now but it's true that he's a Catholic faith before.
- I also have heard that his planning to run the presidency on 2020 (I'm not sure with the year).
- Let's go back to the topic of discussing about the match.  Smiley
I think this match is made for Manny Pacquiao's political ambition. When he fights almost everyone in the Philippines will see him and remember his name come election time and also the proceed of this fight might be used to fund his election campaign.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your bitcoin story? Good or bad on: March 25, 2018, 11:17:52 AM
Every one has a story to tell so share your bitcoin story for us to learn from. Either good or bad.

So far i have a good story to tell. I started in a signature campaign and some of my profits are invested in crypto. I tell my friends and relatives in my journey to crypto so that they can benefit with it also. I provide information to them with the assurance that there is a good profit with it. Now they are joining bitcoin and happy to know that they have earned as well.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: March 24, 2018, 11:53:46 PM
I think bill gates are also human beings who have other thoughts. well, everyone has a different mind, and has a principle. maybe for bill gates, cryptocurrency is bad. but for me it's pretty good, so I'll keep using it, even though he does not use it.
Bill Gates, although very rich but still he is human. What he says is just his opinion and not the reference of how cryptocurrency looks. I admit that he can manipulate the price if he wants to because he got a tons of resources to do so.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich people don’t gamble. on: March 24, 2018, 11:24:04 PM
I think it is not true that rich people don't gamble. I know some people who are rich but they still gamble. Maybe they gamble not to earn money but it is still gambling. Rich people usually gamble to have some fun or maybe a stress reliever of some sort.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: March 24, 2018, 02:02:59 PM
I don't think that bitcoin will kill the income tax. There are now a move by the government specifically the South Korean government are planning to tax the cryptocurrency exchanges.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: March 24, 2018, 04:10:00 AM
panic sell is only done by people who are desperate, they are afraid of losing what they have, very different from the strong holder who always hold their coin whatever happens until their target is reached
Panic selling is done by people with weak hands. If you are going to sell out of panic then you will lose your money. If you don't want to lose money then you should hold your coin while there is a dip and wait for the time when the price goes up.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world. on: March 24, 2018, 12:08:55 AM

JAPAN plans to become the Bitcoin capital of the world
Japan has all the right and capability to become the cryptocurreny capital of the world because of it's being an open minded country. That is the factor why their country is very progressive, they are never afraid to try things even if it is not yet proven like bitcoin.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 22, 2018, 12:39:02 PM
The Cleveland Cavaliers just won a tough battle against the Eastern Conference leader Toronto Raptors and it just shows what this team is capable of come playoff times.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: March 18, 2018, 01:20:00 PM
This is the purpose of digital currency, to replace the paper money soon. But this is not an easy task because we have to educate all the people around the world what is a digital currency and that needs a lot of time. But sooner or later we will be there, digital currency will replace money.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 18, 2018, 12:35:47 PM
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!
That is because of fear. Fear just create panic sell and when you do that you are at the losing end. That is why the veterans of this trade always remind us not to panic when there is a bloodbath.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin Is So Volatile on: March 18, 2018, 10:06:29 AM
It's scarcity is the main attribute why bitcoin's price is so high. Everybody wants to hold bitcoin so the price will go up and if they want to sell to make some profit then this could cause the price to drop due to supply is high.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: March 18, 2018, 01:30:34 AM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?
Hacking is a very big problem here in cryptosphere. Digital currency involves a very large amount of money that is why some individuals are lured into hacking to get some easy money.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: March 18, 2018, 12:38:41 AM
Bitcoin is a great help to reduce unemployment but we need to educate people in order for them to understand how things work here in cryptosphere. It would take a great amount of time before we could say that people are ready to adapt to bitcoin.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse on: March 17, 2018, 12:22:36 AM
The fighting Senator of the Philippines Manny Pacquiao announced that he is fighting this coming June 24 at Malaysia. The possible opponent is Lucas Matthysse the current WBA light welterweight champion.

For those of you who is not familiar with Lucas Matthysse below is his Boxing Record

Total fights - 44
Wins - 39
Wins by KO - 36
Losses - 4
No contests - 1

What we know so far is Freddie Roach has not committed himself yet to train Manny for this fight. Bob Arum is the the promoter for this fight, it will be De la Joya's Golden Boy Promotions and Manny's MP Promotion.

Earlier it known that Manny was asked to be an under card for Jeff Horns fight but Manny rejected the offer. There were also rumors that Manny can't fight in the US like in Las Vegas because he has issues with the IRS "again".
Manny Pacquiao should have retired 3 years ago. He is a sure hall of famer. I don't know why he is risking his life out there in the boxing ring, maybe the fame is the reason. In my opinion, this fight will be used for his political ambition.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: March 13, 2018, 02:01:36 PM
I don't have much of bitcoin to sell it below $100,000 - and will probably do this one year after.
Still have some doubts.. Maybe $200,000 will be a better point?
Please give an advice, your opinion is important!!

PS. It's not a joke. Please be realistic while estimating..
Gonna bring up this topic close to X-Mas 2018.
I think it is not going to happen this year or in the nest two years. But if if does happen, bitcoin would reach $100k, of course i would sell but only half of it and i am going to invest the rest.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook bans ads for cryptocurrencies on: March 13, 2018, 07:52:30 AM
This is running for some time time now. But i guess the ban was not effective enough because i still sees ads regarding cryptocurrency and ICOs in my Facebook newsfeed.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: March 11, 2018, 11:29:43 AM
Who are your guys early favorites to win the NBA Championship this year?

I would have to go with Golden State at 5/1 to repeat and win it all again.

Yeah, for me it will be Golden State as i see them young and become more harden by each day unlike my team Cleveland in which they switch to young players but still need more experience to compete. I just hope they will easily to adjust to each other as the playoff is getting near.

I am actually seeing Cavaliers line up better than those high paid salaries yet ineffective and old. Still Golden State looks invincible. Easy repeat here for me.
Why does some of it here still acts like Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers still on the top of their conferences when Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors even Boston Celtics are a better team then Cleveland. Yes you can say they have the Playoff and Finals experience but you can't deny the fact that Celtics, Raptors, and Rockets also have a quality team. Houston Rockets can also match the scoring of the Golden State Warriors and James Harden is actually hungry to have his first championship.
It is because Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers are the team to beat this season. Come playoff time they will cruise easily to the conference finals.
