Right now I'm trying some Fury's c.q. Blizzard's, they work rather well when you don't overclock them too much. Hash rate ~1280, HW 5 to 6%. I still have to measure the power usage. Strange enough the WU is higher than the hash rate, must be some bug in cgminer 3.1.1 for Zeus. The power bricks are almost melting, I have go out and buy some connectors to put them on another PSU. Edit: Just measured the current and the Fury's take ~4.05A, this is more than I expected. Edit2: They take ~3.50A with a different build of cgminer.

On another point they seem to have added a ticket system to emails. Hopefully they have realised that communication really lets them down and frustrates their customers.
I didn't notice the ticket system yet. But I have to agree that they should give us more insight into what is going on. Each day a status update would be nice, and that shouldn't be to difficult. Hopefully they will compensate us for loss in mining profits, one week delay will cost me at least $200,- When you buy two A2Mini at once they give you $200,- discount, since I bought two A2Mini in just two weeks time I would like to have some discount for that as well. Well, let's see what happens next week.

is there any way to get shipping by DHL from minereu ?
Not at the moment. They have to add it. It would be nice to have more shipping options from MinerEU. Maybe they read this.

Looking at how my order is advancing, I have to apologize for blaming minereu so quickly.
It looks like DPD is really slow in updating their tracking status. Also, I've paid less than what they charge for "Express" AND had the stuff faster when ordering other, unrelated gear from the USA! And that was including a customs stop.
Seriously, minereu, switch to UPS or something. A whole week of "Express" delivery within the EU is a fcking joke!
DPD is very slow indeed. Last time it took them 5 days to get a package from London to Amsterdam. Problem with UPS is that they ask a premium price and you probably have to add another $100,- for shipping.

Already any insight in the new shipping date of the A2Mini's?
To me have told me by email this: "If manufacture sort out everything, We Should Be able to dispatch your A2MINI next tuesday." (17th June) Regards. Lets hope it will be shipped on Tuesday.

This week I have some more GAW Fury's coming in from Hong Kong with DHL. I want to put 8 of them on one of these cheap 360W PSU's to see what they can do. Should be something like 10 Mh/s. with the same power draw as the A2Mini.
I would not put 8 on it. they can draw about 50 watts each. They draw 50W each together with these worthless power bricks. Should be much lower without these. I will keep an eye on the current with my Fluke clamp meter. I have a pile of these cheap PSU's left over from Gridseed mining. Now they come in handy for some experiments with the Fury's.

Have you seen Minereu have added to Zeusminer products to their site?
No, I didn't see it. An Innosilicon with only one blade would be a nice product as well. The Zeusminer is to power hungry, at least for me it is.

|
|
I've been messing about with pools where you can set the difficulty of the miner. 2048 and above seems to yield particularly good share rates
It could be that the behaviour of the Innosilicon miner is the same as what is documented for the Zeus miner. No handshaking whatsoever, they just let the chips compete with each other. With low difficulty you will get more collisions. https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=7B9890399DE89575!603&ithint=file%2c.docx&app=Word&authkey=!ABXOuckyMb5Cu2w A higher difficulty will put less stress on the network and the Raspberry PI. Edit: Somehow the link does not work directly, you have to copy it into your browser.

It's on Bittrex too, some decent volume on there
Will try this one too, it seems to give a high profit, $60 a day or so. I just put the miner on xhash and give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

I'm mining pure Silkcoin at the moment
Silkcoin is being traded on Poloniex, I mostly use Mintpal, never tried Poloniex.

Since yesterday I'm mining at clevermining, and I have to say that this is the first coin switching pool with good returns. The last 20 hours the reward is almost 40% higher than what I get with LTC alone.

Out of curiosity I talked to the miner factory Insmart, they charge $3500,- for a single A2Mini including shipping. The problem is the 21% VAT, I have no idea how to circumvent that. So the deal from MinerEU is still the best. The price is mainly determined by the A2 chip, Innosilicon asks $180 a piece in large quantities.

Well I worked out that one A2 Mini is using maximum 400w so for me that is around 10Kwh which in UK costs me about £1.21 a day which is about €1.5. So a year £445 or €550. I do have a 3Kw solar PV system, so some of that power usage will actually be free - if it is not cloudy here anyway.
So electricity cost in The Netherlands is 1.5 times the cost in the UK. Our government is ripping us

I switched from consumer energy to business energy. Makes a difference of almost €400,- a year when mining with 2x A2Mini. And the gas is a lot cheaper as well.
I worked out that A2 mini's is costing me somewhere in the region of £600 a year to run. For you to save 400 euros you you must be paying an absolute fortune in electric! Yes, here in The Netherlands it is around €0,22 KW/h, mostly tax of course. My calculation is not completely honest because I also have some servers running, but the largest part is from mining. Now I have room to add some more miners, I still have some unused GAW Fury's laying around. I bought these to empty my store credit at GAW. When everything runs smoothly I will add a 3th A2Mini when the price comes down.

These heat sinks looks the same as the ones from Zalman, this is probably where they get them from. With the thermal paste I would be more careful, there is a lot of junk sold out there. Arctic MX-2 is one of the best non electrically conductive pastes you can get, no silicone, so very easy removable as well. I have no experience with AliBaba/AliExpress though. I know this company is founded by a Dutchman. When you order something there, how long does it take on average before you have the stuff on your doorstep?
