281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iran again want to make some dirty things on: January 15, 2020, 07:25:34 PM
I have not seen the news lately between this intense involved countried. AFAIK, it became passive lately and we can have a few sighs while the tension isn't there but we can't be confident with that.

There will be no news. Initially, it was obvious that Iran was not going to enter into an open confrontation with the United States, which is why the United States was able to easily and unpunishedly kill an Iranian general. Everything is very bad in Iran, people are tired, they want a better life. Permanent sanctions are already tired. If Iran got involved in a war, the people would rebel against the current government. Already now there are ongoing protests. In fact, Iran is on the verge of a civil war. This is what the United States sought.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: January 15, 2020, 06:37:33 PM
Personally, I periodically had doubts related to those litigations which, over and over again, had to be resolved by the company owning Tether. However, the latest news made me especially happy. It turns out that in the latest trial of Bitfinex and Tether, all claims from the court were withdrawn, which once again tells us that the company coped with difficulties, which means it increased its level of trust.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 14, 2020, 03:07:32 PM
Nothing changed, people are no more interested in investing into these tokens, so there isn´t any liquidity. Good example is IMVR token: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/immvrse - yesterday someone bought tokens for few dollars and price pumped by 5000%!  Roll Eyes

This does not change anything, just the numbers on the screen. You won’t be able to sell what you bought (if you had it at the time of the pump), due to the absence of an additional number of purchase orders.
If there is no liquidity - the price is easy to manipulate - but there is no one to sell this price later.

Globally, the market is being manipulated by manipulating the price of bitcoin, this is the main thing.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project or Useless projects! on: January 14, 2020, 02:46:01 PM
Illiquid trash. Capitalization is only $ 35,000, and the daily trading volume is only $ 1, miserable. The project can be attributed to the dead.
Even if someone artificially drags the price up, you will not be able to sell what you bought because there will not be enough buy orders. I think they will not be at all.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 14, 2020, 01:09:39 PM
The idea is good, but the reality is unreliable. Many people will use free mobile phones to brush free cryptocurrencies. Maybe you need other technologies to realize your ideas. The cost is too low and there is no room for improvement. So, put your ideas elsewhere local.

All right. The main thing is technology. In itself, walking brings only local benefit to the object that walks.
However, if it were possible to create a technology in which the kinetic energy created by walking would be transmitted and transformed into another type of energy, for example, electric, then this would be really useful and interesting.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you can launch your crypto exchange quickly on: January 14, 2020, 09:24:22 AM
The key to success of the exchange is only in the quantity and quality of its users. Without a proper marketing company, it will be quite difficult to realize the potential of your platform.
In addition, it is necessary to provide a sufficient level of liquidity for all trading pairs, which is far from always a simple task for a new exchange.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 13, 2020, 05:50:40 PM
I can only say from my own experience that for me, following other people turned out to be the most unprofitable things. I have often found myself mentors in trading, as well as investment advisers of a fairly high level. Each time I was convinced that these consultants themselves made their name and fortune only thanks to a favorable combination of circumstances, and they cannot really teach anything. Listen to yourself and not others.

Speculative markets are moving in the event of war. In this case, passing the word war will stimulate the market. Bitcoin and Gold prices are rising. But Trump's statements have a direct impact on the market. Bitcoin is a value store that is very easy to carry.

As part of the confrontation between Iran and the United States, it is necessary to focus on rising oil and gold prices. Bitkio is too speculative asset, even in the case of strong growth during the growing tension between the countries, we will not be able to say exactly what this growth is connected with, whether it is speculation by large players or not. However, locally, in the same Iran, the price of bitcoin can easily increase compared to global indicators.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 13, 2020, 10:30:19 AM
If we talk about the growth of bitcoin in the framework of the war, then I would prefer that there would be no war at all. Personally, I do not see any parallels associated with the military conflict between the United States and Iran due to which oil and gold have risen in price. Bitcoin is being manipulated, which means its growth may mean nothing against the backdrop of a flaring conflict. After all, manipulators can easily raise the price artificially during an increasing tension, in order to create a false impression.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 12, 2020, 03:45:17 PM
I am not against the topic OP, But not all signs also war can affect cryptocurrency. You have a point and its not possible to happen in the future and war is not a reason to pump the bitcoin.

Personally, I see the main problem in another. If a number of countries resort to the use of cryptocurrency during the war, in particular bitcoin, then nothing prevents large players from dropping the price of bitcoin to unimaginable limits, provoking panic moods, forcing them to sell most of the recently purchased bitcoins. Large players, in turn, will be able to redeem a panic sale on the cheap.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iran again want to make some dirty things on: January 12, 2020, 12:11:22 PM
Be so kind as to provide a link to this news. As far as I know, Iran now has much more serious problems than another revenge. In addition, in an official statement, Iran said that it would no longer take revenge if the Americans use additional military measures after an attack on their base in Iraq. In Iran, protests are now mowing down a Ukrainian plane. Iran does not want war, it wants to live a normal life like other countries.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: January 12, 2020, 09:58:02 AM
For me, any project that is built just to scroll inside itself money is a scam. Even if this project is a simple financial crypto bank with 1% of annual income, it’s all exactly an instrument that will burst after a certain amount of time.
I prefer to choose projects related to specific structures in real life, projects trying to improve and diversify our environment. Any project aimed at the idea and not for money is interesting to me.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: January 11, 2020, 08:48:40 PM
Obviously, all presented coins of this type will be stable, because they represent the currency of certain banks.
That is, each bank simply dreams of converting its currency into a digital environment. Thus, an unsecured currency will turn into just a set of numbers, and in case of default, nothing will have to be returned to customers.
295  Other / Off-topic / Re: How motivate yourself to work? on: January 11, 2020, 08:10:18 PM
The best motivation is to connect your deepest values to your goals, in which case you will continue to feel pleasant sensations when you undertake any work.
Sacrificing small now for the acquisition of happiness later. This is a complex principle that lays the right behavior in your thinking.
296  Other / Off-topic / Re: [CLASSIC] World of Warcraft on: January 11, 2020, 04:02:54 PM
I did not like the classic. Too complicated, too much time is spent on banal logistics, to move from point A to point B. In addition, it takes a huge amount of time to raise a character’s level, which at the current age is a pity to spend on such things. However, I am glad that people have a long-awaited opportunity to play it again.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 11, 2020, 01:11:06 PM
In general, the idea is interesting. But I do not believe in such projects in which we profit from nothing. Yes, it’s quite suitable as points, but what will determine the value of coins mined? Speculation?
In order to make a profit, you need to create something, in this case there will be no difficulties in pricing the token.
298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which streaming platform to try? on: January 11, 2020, 10:02:20 AM
The most popular platform, as mentioned above, is Twitch. However, you can also try the platform from Windows, for this you need to install X Box Beta on your PC,
this will allow you to broadcast in real time for all users on the platform. Well, of course there is still YouTube.
299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: January 11, 2020, 07:18:15 AM
Personally, I have long understood that believing in a flat earth or not depends only on whether it will bring you any benefit. Even if the earth was flat, and everything around was a global deception, then can we do something about it? Globally no. So, we will only drive ourselves into all possible types of depressive states due to our helplessness in this situation. You need to think about what improves our life, everything else is not important.
300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is World War 3 coming because of the bombing in Iraq? on: January 10, 2020, 10:17:22 PM
I doubt that the United States will be so reckless as to unleash a third world war. Moreover, this war is not profitable for anyone. And the main question is who will fight with whom?
Iran wants to be a normal country and live a normal life, so they agreed to a nuclear deal, and as a result receive additional sanctions from the United States, which in turn prohibit European countries from dealing with Iran. Glaring injustice.
