Okay, the OP has been updated. You must run the batch or shell script contained in the archive before running the wallet. This clears out your Pesa AppData and allows for the new wallet to function. If you're more comfortable doing this yourself, then please remove all files except for the wallet.dat. Thanks, we're glad to be back.

One problem with not having a hot fix is that we need to get Bittrex an updated wallet so we can have a free market. I think this is very important. Is there any kind of ETA?
The dev will be back in 2 days. According to Max, the fixes shouldn't take too long to implement, once there are no more inhibiting factors holding the development process back. This is just funny. To all:
I have been in contact with Max through his personal email account and it seems like he's being open and honest in the below email. Below is the email he sent me and he knows I'm posting it.
I’m glad that you’ve stuck with us throughout the project. It’s been rough the last couple weeks and I’ll clear up what I can for you. Yes, the main developer is still on the project. We timed the launch very poorly with his traveling as we didn’t know he would have to stay so long. He will be returning in two days with his main priority being getting PESA back up and running. I’m confident in his abilities. The coin’s codebase will be changed drastically, which is why we haven’t released a hot fix yet. One of the biggest problems though, is that we all have full-time+ jobs. I have planned to speak with everyone on the project tonight and plan out the coming weeks.
He says they should be in the thread tonight. If not, I will try to get more information tomorrow.

Why don't you just lower the required confirmations for staked coins from 110 to 10? The only problem I can see is that the blockchain is moving very slowly. It's not that the wallets are not syncing...they're just showing they're not synced because it's been so long since a block has been generated. If you can get people's staked coins to confirm quicker they'll be able to restake quicker and generate PoS blocks on a more regular basis. I think the problem is much simpler than it's being made out to be.
There must be some good reason for to keep such high confirmations. Right? |

I've had no problem syncing as long as I move my wallet with coins elsewhere, start up a fresh download of the blockchain with 0 coins in my wallet, then close the client and move my wallet with coins back. Problem is it doesn't stay like that, I will stay synced for a few hours and then I go off on my own chain.
I'm still here watching this thing. I have like 80k I mined at launch, this looked promising so I held, and now they aren't going anywhere for the time being. Caught a dump of 100k PESA on bittrex at 100 satoshis, risk/reward ratio felt right if this coin can ever get back on track. If nothing else, release a wallet with a flat 2% interest or whatever just so the market can be reopened at bittrex and people can move their coins. The dev team can play around with perfecting the dynamic interest system all they want after that.
I guess people don't really care about the dynamic interest anymore. We need only some real activity from the developer and PR about the actual project. As said by sixteen digits, release a normal POS wallet and it doesn't matter if the previously staked coins would be lost. NICCOLO MAC - Do the needy. |

The wallet works, believe it or not. It just gets stuck when the dynamic interest system causes the client to go off on a tangent apart from the original blockchain. At that point, you have to delete everything except for wallet.dat (everything!) and then the wallet will sync back up. HALLELUJAH. Wallet earned by itself, is now reportedly Richie@bittrex. What block do most wallets seem to be stuck at? I generated two new POS blocks last night, after which all of my coins became stuck in stake waiting to mature. There was one more block generated after that, but none for about 9 hours now.

Both mac and windows wallet stopped syncing after certain period for most users. Happy to hear that your wallet is still running. |

Hey guys, sorry I've been AWOL. Been really busy with non-Pesa stuff (moving). Just got my internet service set up, so I should be back in touch again regularly. I'll be talking to Max later via Skype, and I'll let you guys know what's going on after that goes down.
