These crypto games have to stop. All these fucking devs playing us like puppets.
Why hasnt soopy said 1 word this entire time? Not 1 post? Being sick is no excuse and surely staying away from FUD isnt a good one either. Unless he is in a hospital suffering from a coma God forbid, there really is no good reason why he is remaining quiet.
1. Either he is staying quiet for a reason, to manipulate the markets together with P&D whale groups.
2. The anon system has major flaws and needs a lot more work than they anticipated (still isnt a good reason to keep quiet)
3. He scammed us, made money and does give 2 shits.
4. He is dead, or in a coma God forbid.
5. He is dumb.
My gut tells me its not 3, 4 nor 5. 1 and 2? I really hope Im not going to hold another bag full of useless coins.
I think he is just working! That what a dev has to do. If you would have ever worked in a IT company, you would know that normally you never get in touch with the dev directly! That is why there is normally a 3 level system to avoid customer contacting dev directly and bugging him with shit.... He has to code and for coding you need to be concentrated. I can understand he is not showing up here, because answering silly fud takes concentration and time! nethertheless you are right, there should be somebody (PR) to take care for the customer / community, post something SUM2dev, so the crowd keeps cool! It's totally nonsense, after all what happened just staying offline has nothing to do with working hard on code. And we are just customers, just stupid customers, sorry but this is not the view of myself. We are the community and without the best coin is not quite more then nothing. He must know what will happen if he is doing so, so you have 2 options, he did it with full knowlegde or something went really wrong. For me it just feels not acceptable. |

Ok i was a big fan of this coin, donated a little bit to the donation (wanted to donate more) and thought about joining the foundation. I liked this concept, to revive old coins to stand against the shitstorm of the weekly new coins. I was definitly too optimistic here and just realised that even the dev was not online since 5 days, this is just what it is: it couldn't even be worser, you have here a bunch of people which trusted your team, and the dev don't even see the need to post a single comment in 5 days. Don't know what the background is for all this uncertainity, sorry but you are ruining your own project completly. I'm out and completly demotivated - good luck   |

This one could be a surprise, the coin survived a double-spend attack, devs are working, community is waiting (^^patience is an art) and hopefully soon this coin will be very shiny again. We will be waiting for the network to stabilize before anything , I haven't slept for the last three days and I will take a short break, exchanges will resume operations within the day , Bittrex and Bter will be compensated shortly and balances replaced.
NavajoCoin is the only coin that was brought back after a double spend attack without needing to go with a new coin and a swap and while all the same exchanges fully compensated.

I think it's possible that two buddies access their accounts together during one session. Also both accounts are pretty active and look independent. Even if not we can't prove it's not two different persons. So I voted in their favour.
I don't quite get this. You think it's possible that 2 guys can access accounts at same time but not 3. I notice that my flat mate still has his stake ( cupper5 ) but I don't presumably because he has posted more than me even although I introduced him to cryptocurrencies . I have never felt the need to post much before. You can't prove that the 3 of us are not different people so why not vote in our favour? If you want to know the reasons why i voted against you: - all of your 3 accounts were registred in a timeframe of 5 minutes - and a similar pattern in your NODE-registration process - and.. at least it looks relatively clear. |

How nice if Bitcointalk also implement this puppet labeling strategy. The place would be a lot safer and nicer. but bitcointalk.org saying explicity that sockpuppets are allowed and an legitime way to express different opinions then maybe your main-account. That's the reason why the removal of suckpuppets is the duty of the developers and in our case also the duty of the community. |

I have been just watching this circus for a while now and all i can say is if you don't take the coins left over from the socks and add them to the distribution of those that actually followed the rules and have supported you thus far, then you have no sense of common decency or integrity. Your so called auction gave you a nice little chunk i think its more than fair to reward the ones who have supported you in this circus of a IPO.
+1440 This is the way it should be handled. still wondering what's gonna happen with all those leftover coin (well not technically leftover, as it should all be divided over investors anyway...) and why the dev team needs to have ipo btc's + get most of the sockpuppet coin (a lot extra..looking at sock amount) (....) It is not secret anymore that our team used the IP Log in order to spot the puppets! But as we stated this method isn't 100% sure to identify them! It will highlight the associated accounts by IP, but not the relationship between them! It is the same thing as sending a payment from one wallet! But at the same time it spotted a multitude of associated accounts by IP! As an example there was a Chinese user that created 45 puppets, using the same IP address! But until we showed him that, he stated that the accusation was a lie! Situation witch the committee will decide: - The Common Tor Idea - Even if you used tor to hide your presence, don't forget about the LOG! If you have multiple accounts and you logged into all of them consecutively, you will be treated as a puppet master! Just one situation for example, the same things refers to VPN! - Relationship between accounts - declaring that this or those accounts were made for my friends/colleagues/family will be decided by the committee depending of your value to the committee. But as a reference i think that the community will give favor for those that have 1,2 associated accounts! That will be it for the moment! If you guys have any ideas on how to make this method better, or to add your 2 cents, don't hesitate to post it in the thread! We are in process of identifying Puppets and Puppet Masters!
Some of you were already identified and others soon will be!
We stated that our method of identification is 98% accurate leaving for an error margin of 2%! To cover for those 2% we are building a committee of Honest Node Members that will act as judges and will make the final decision upon certain situations: For instance the "rockhill" situation. (with no offense)
The highlighted members are those that are considered puppets with 98% accuracy! If you by chance got into those 2%! Don't panic, and don't be offended! Our goal is to clear the coin of potential usurpers that will eventually drag the coin down, if not eliminated!
But there is also the thing with relatives/friends/family! This kinda situations will be handled by the committee! If for example you have one puppet, the committee will decide if you will be useful for the community, a if that extra stake will harm the coin! But if it was identified that you are associated with 3-5-7 puppets, the answer might be not to your favor. It will be totally up to the committee members!

If you guys have any other proposals who will be a good judge, or if someone is willing don't hesitate to post it in the thread!
How this will work out your asking:
The devs will act as the offenders
The Committee as judges
And you as the defensive side!
The process:
A thread for complains will be created: where you will be able to point out your complain!
1) The devs will provide proof to the committee, that the accused is guilty!
2) The member will have the right to defend himself, and to bring proof that he is not guilty!
3) The committee will decide trough open vote, if the accused is guilty!
Just like in a real trial!
If you ask why is the committee even necessary! Because they will review sensitive information provided by the dev team, which doesn't belong on the public!
Also there is another way to deal with the matter peacefully! Pm us and we will get by this situation without making a fuss!
We don't have a black list, and you will loose only the puppets, your main account will be kept! And we will have no grudges agains you!

I just wanted to get this post highlighted again. As i saw there were a big amount of sockpuppets in the list. Some of them are already removed, i think the most obvious ones. The next step is, when i'm right to clarify the status of the remaining ones, which will be done through the commitee, which Koop4u will announce. I was a little bit (only a little bit) surprised to see how many puppets there are. So this is not really a bad thing and it is really unique so far. For me, after i followed the discussion of the last pages, it looks like that the problem with the sockpuppets is basing on the fact that we all know that there a mass of sockpuppets, which raises the pressure to also handle with puppets. Therefore let us make a nice start, everyone are able to receive at least one stake. (...)

my wallet is syncing now and im sure it wasn't my side problem as i have other wallets running on my machine
If many wallets are running simultaneously, it can also cause problems because of possible port-conflicts between the clients. |

Guys, how to use Navajo wallet? There is only one exe file inside and 3 dlls. When I start run exe wallet don't synchronize.
Is all you need and should work, when i tried the Navajo client first time, i had my old *.conf file in my app-folder. After i deleted it, it synced without problems. If nothing works you can delete (!backup your wallet.dat before!) your app-folder (summercoinv2) completly (client is off). Then start your Navajo client and finally here it should work again. After it is synced completly (or before but i do it always after it is synced) you can copy your backuped wallet.dat again in your app-folder. I see now everything clear, but wallet still dont synchronize :/ In debug window - number of connection 0.
I have 10 active connections, with 2000+ blocks remaining, because I have not opened wallet in 2 daysYes yes nice nice  My wallet is also syncing, so the problem is not on the clientside. I am not sure but eventually are the nodes not reachable for an unknwon reason or sth., maybe the thread-starter can write a example *.conf file with some more nodes listed or sth. like that, in most cases it helped me with syncing various other coins, which for unknown reasons were not syncable for me (and sometimes it looked like for me alone^^). |

guys, i was still on sum2 coin wallet and just downloaded the Novajo wallet
but it doesn't connect to nodes
i removed everything but the wallet.dat from my roaming folder, but still nothing
is there any trick for syncing?
any suggestion for syncing? If you made a *.conf file for your old summer2 wallet, you could try to delete the old *.conf file if it is still there. |
