281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: August 08, 2018, 10:11:09 AM
This is not about bountyhive alone. All bounty hunting websites have failed projects. The issue is that the sites don't have control over the success or failure of any project and it is also the norms with the project team to end such a project that fails to meet soft-cap. I will rather say that you are kind of not being lucky to have chosen a failed project. This can happen to anybody and it is inevitable as long as you are a bounty hunter.

282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All the bounty tokens can be sold? on: August 08, 2018, 10:00:36 AM
The First advice I will give to you is that you should always do diligent research on projects to support. Check their project team profile and see if they are people of integrity and wouldn't want their names to be soiled. Also, check the niche in which they intend to work on and see if it is a lucrative one. You will also need to check their roadmap and the companies that have partnered with them. All these things will go a long way in helping you in taking right decision as to which project to join and work for.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin or litecoin ? on: August 08, 2018, 09:50:51 AM
I think your question is incomplete because you didn't say the angle from which you want the comparison to be done. Nevertheless, Bitcoin have edge over other altcoins basically because it is the pathfinder in the field of cryptocurrencies. This alone gives Bitcoin a better advantage over other forms of cryptocurrencies which Litecoin is also a part of it.

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: August 07, 2018, 10:00:38 AM
A lot of reasons is behind the decision of bounty hunters selling off their coins immediately they get it in their wallet.

1) Some projects got abandoned by the developer and as such the coin becomes useless. Hunters now want to be in a saver position and as such sell off immediately so that their efforts wont be wasted.

2) Some hunters are also broke

3) Some hunters don't believe in investment and as such want quick money
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: August 07, 2018, 09:54:48 AM
I will first give kudos to the team of developers behind the ethereum project basically because they have really tried that's basically why we are talking about it this day. We all know that btc still has great value and price. Btc is also the pathfinder in this cryptocurrency business. All said and done, i will prefer to share my investor into the two cryptocurrencies at the ratio of 50/50.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: August 07, 2018, 09:49:04 AM
There are some altcoin that worth holding and there are some that it is better you sell off. The first thing to do before deciding on the ones to hold and the ones to sell is to first do your diligent research and find out the ones with good projects and also the one with the dedicated and expert team. If a coin has a good project, then it is likely that the price goes up because the law of demand and supply will set in to play. Also most project, their developers are not dedicated towards the project. Such altcoin can easily turn to shit coin because, at a point in time, the developers can abandon the project
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2018, 09:32:34 AM
I have so many regrets when it comes to the issue of cryptocurrency. My first regret is that I knew about bitcoin late, if I am lucky to have known about btc early enough I would have been a multi-millionaire now because I love investing a lot. My second regret was that I also didn't hear about eth early enough to invest into it. But presently, I invest in some cryptocurrencies.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: August 07, 2018, 09:26:08 AM
it is the bitcoin that is mainly increasing and I think one of the main reasons for this is that most investors prefer to keep their investment in btc. I can't finally say that the bull market has started unless such increment is continuous for some time. If you can recall, btc went up at the beginning of this year before going down back.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: August 07, 2018, 08:53:53 AM
Saying cryptocurrency is dangerous might be scary to newbies. It is more professional to say that it is risky. When we say it is risky, people are talking from the angle of its volatility. It has the ability to rise exponentially likewise it also has the ability to go down exponentially. This volatility makes it risky but with proper knowledge and education, you can do well in the cryptocurrency world.

296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea? on: August 04, 2018, 04:55:32 AM
A lot of conditions need to be considered here so that someone doesnt end up loosing. Factors to be considered:

1) The project that the altcoin goes into should be considered. If the project is not a solid one with clear-cut direction, it is better for you to sell it off.

2) The team behind the project. If the team is not so dedicated towards the project, then it will do you a favour to sell off such coin
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how do you find new bounties? on: August 03, 2018, 04:41:18 PM
You can find new bounties in lots of places. Here on bitcointalk, new bounties are talked about. You can also get them on social medias like twitter, facebook and most importantly is telegram. We have so many bounty managers that advertise new bounties on their social networks too. A good example of such site is https://icodrops.com/bounty-list/, bountyangels.com

299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: August 02, 2018, 02:38:51 PM
I mean Why bitcoin? Why waste huge energy in mining. As everyone know bitcoin is useless in terms
of usability.
My question to bitcointalk users :

Is this possible that any altcoin become no 1 on coinmarketcap and bitcoin disappeare

I think this can be possible, what you think so comment below...

Since Bitcoin is the first form of cryptocurrency which other cryptocurrencies are following its foot-step, it might be difficult for other cryptocurrencies to do without Bitcoin. There is nothing impossible, in the long-run this can happen provided the crptocurrency that will be have a solid project it is built to support. This will make the demand for such cryptocurrency inevitable and the holders can easily convert it to cash. Also the hype will really worth it.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YOU HAVE TO BE A DIE HARD RISK TAKER TO EXCEL IN THE CRYPTO INDUSTRY on: August 02, 2018, 02:31:53 PM
Risk Characteristics
Will Bates was very good with math and science. He felt he was wasting his time in his college classes. Society's message was that a college degree equaled success, but Will wanted to be able to take a different path to achievement. He had some basic characteristics of a risk taker.

Heightened expectations: This is when a manager has goals that can be unrealistic and unattainable to some, but which the risk taker feels very confident will occur. Will felt the drive to start his own technology business. The product was an advanced computer. He was determined to create the prototype himself and dropped out of college to complete the task. He did all the parts of the product development from design and operations to production and even marketing the final prototype. He eventually realized he needed a support team and hired a basic staff. He treated the staff professionally but demanded excellence.
Constant learning: This is when a manager refuses to rest on his or her past performance. They are always researching, testing and looking to learn. Will viewed life as a constant learning journey. He spent years developing his prototype and now constantly works on new technological improvements of his computer.
Embrace change: A manager who embraces change looks forward to a constant flux of new information and is always trying for improvements. Will was willing to quit college, while his friends were graduating and pursuing a career. He lived close to poverty to develop his computer. He was also willing to change his goals in regards to his company throughout its development. Lastly, he is constantly altering his company's product lines and introducing new technological gadgets.
Trust instincts: Many risk takers make decisions based on both intelligent data and a gut instinct. It's a feeling that they have regarding a decision. It usually isn't the safest decision or the most practical, but it can lead to great risk and success. When Will finished his first prototype, he invested all of his money into launching his business. If the business failed, he would have been destitute. Fortunately, his gut was correct, and his computer was a huge success.

Above are the characteristics one need to be a successful investor,  most folks on this platform need to know life itself is volatile,  non of us knows what will become of us in the next five hours,  i would mortgage my house over and over again to invest on dip BTC i bought for $5230.

This industry belongs to the braveheart and the die hard risk takers

This writes up is sure an eye opener. I was taught in school that the higher the risk you can take in life, the more likely you are to succeed in life. The first step towards making it in life is the level of risk you can take. Taking a risk in the world of cryptocurrency is really worth it because the volatility will surely bring profit in the long run.
