Just running updates as much as I can. POW mining is not necessary and it should be a straight client update just redownloading the blockchain.
The problem is the wallet producing the pos block which is fixed, so can accept others just not produce them. This is fixed as you can see my pos block synced the network.

I have 2 options. Extend the mining POW for a little longer until POS takes over naturally or decrease the stake age and induce pos.
Interested in hearing thoughts as both patches can be done rather quickly.

 Mint staking is enabled now for those with transactions over 14 days old. If you have transactions that are available for staking/minting the wallet icon on the left will be highlighted like the image above. This indicates you wallet is able to at any point mint POS coins. POW will end at block 10,000. There may be a slowing of the network during changeover but don't be alarmed, I am here if anything is an issue and anything needs to be tuned slightly. I love NewYorkCoin but it is not worth spreading crazy information about 1$ or even 0,1$, even if it could be one day possible.
For example market vol. is now around 320 000$, if NYC market cap. x100 which means 32 000 000 $ it will place 5th and then 1 NYC will be 0,0005 $, and this already huge.
Everything is possible, but I think it is better to stay realistic first !

OrangeCoin is undervalued is an understatement...
I thought also a bit about the presence of the DEV who is online but does not say much. There are actually a lot of good reasons not to say much; especially if you know you have a great coin.
I think the DEV knows a lot about patience and timing.

Not to forget:
End of POW there will be 50 Mio OrangeCoin
Maximum OrangeCoin will be 200 Mio but this will take a long time :
1st Year POS 20%, (estimation that 70 % of coins are minting in 1 Year) we would have then around 57 Mio end of year 1.
2nd Year POS 10% of 57 Mio ( again estimation 70% coins minting) would be then around 61 Mio end of year 2.
3rd Year POS 5% of 61 Mio (......70%...) would be then around 63 Mio end of year 3.
Then, we have got a continuous interest rate of POS 2,5% every year. So, with a few approximative calculations, we will have the 200 Mio OrangeCoins not before 65 Years.
My calculations are approximations, if someone wants to do the exact maths feel free.
I hope this will give you an idea of the potential of this coin.
I would also like to know, if my estimation of 70 % from total coins, will stay on wallet and mint during a year realistic ? Or, does someone think that this percent too high or too low is ?

Less then 48 hours. You have 4320 blocks per day and block 108000 is the end of the 10% daily POS, currently we are at block 100000 so only 8000 left, so 48 hours and we are done with dilution, and then it is important to see what the people will do, holding on (what i hope) or dump everything because they don't have 10% anymore... It will be very intersting to see what happens when POS 10% ends ! And, I do not know when it will start, but the value of YC will raise ! |

About YC multipool, why haven't i recieved any (after 24h) payment? Btw mining x11 still sucks after 24h @ 5Mh only 200 coins  If you are mining X 11 you have about a about 400 KHZ GPU. What did you expect? It is not a hell of GPU power. 200 YC seems pretty good  |

The main target should be some kind of Tomorrowland supported by Yellowcoin. I believe everybody knows Tomorrow land. We should be able to have parties around the world. The Yellowcoin parties. What would be a fantastic marketing stunt is that you have several Yellowcoin parties in different countries at the same time, and this with live streaming. Hello YC community, We are now seeing that YC is still doing great on Mintpal with the new voting system and climbing faster than any other coin. Which means I do not think it was fair to put back YC on 6th place, as we were 3rd or 4th. Nevertheless, we should maybe write to Mintpal, and prepare them to let us come in through the side door ! If, the Volume and interest keeps on growing like this, Mintpal might think that YC deserves to come on the exchange ! I think we should all start writting to Mintpal |
