281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: April 17, 2019, 02:42:06 PM
Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??
this is one common problem for many traders "GREED" and one big task is trying to manage the greed to avoid loosing money. I believe 90% of traders has this on them an find it difficult to handle
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Requirement for Bounty Managers before they require KYC to bounty hunters. on: April 16, 2019, 02:34:52 PM
I feel like it's not fair for bounty hunters to submit KYC when joining bounty campaigns because we are not an investor. We will never be involved with any anti money laundering because we don't invest with money but with TIME and Effort instead. Personally I'm NOT very comfortable submitting my ID's for the simple reason that these are startup companies and we don't even know if they can be trusted.
here we go again with the kyc issue again. So we are no longer talking about project teams doing kyc, we are going to be talking about bounty managers doing kyc, what for? You have no good reason why that should happen and still it can't be carried out
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Will DELIST Bitcoin SV! on: April 16, 2019, 02:22:26 PM
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, has announced that Binance will delist BSV due to Craig Wright's threats to sue bitcoiners who dare question that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. This is yet another blow to this coin that has failed to gain traction. Hopefully this coin will just completely disappear. It is a distraction to the space.

I think it has already been delisted according to the news I read yesterday.  Butmy questions is, what kinda game is Wright and the Ceo of binance playing because this looks like a child's play to me the way this whole scenario is taking place to be honest
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW to successfuly participate in an IEO? Initial exchange offering on: April 16, 2019, 02:19:48 PM
hello guys, lately many investors and crypto enthusiasts are excited and talking about IEOS or Initial exchange offerings because of the returns X they get. X3 To 10X their money but not all of us can get in, I've tried to participate in many IEOS but all failed to get in coz I participate manually without using any bots.
so if you successfully participate in any IEO from
binance before lottery system,
LBANK, okex; zbg, Kucoin.......

please share with us your experience, how did you successfully participate did you use any bots?

I have read about many many lapses concerning the initial exchange offering IEO where sales finish in seconds and my question is who bought out in this seconds because the smaller investors keeps complaining of not being part of it even when they try to purchase so it simply means the whales had it all. It's best to stay away
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors need to face reality on: April 15, 2019, 09:49:09 AM
The situation is plain and clear, the market is growing steadily and not bullishly.

Everyone (incl investors) were hopeful of 2018 being a better year than 2017, it failed and left a lot of people in losses, now there are several blogs, posts, speculations and hope that 2019 will be the year and do better, but who knows if it will be more loss ? Or new profits ?

Let’s learn to things the right way, dyor, cash your profit and maintain a balance in your portfolio

Kindly contribute your opinion
sorry, excuse me but I don't get something straight here. The market is growing but not bullish 🤔? No Bro that's very wrong. As long as the market is growing weather rapidly or sluggishly it's bullish so you need to correct that impression. But yes we all should be careful and invest wisely
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: April 15, 2019, 09:43:06 AM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.

yea right, we shouldn't live on regrets when we make mistakes,  because it pulls us back or shut us out from the future. Though as humans we can't avoid mistakes and and we also can hardly avoid being down with regrets. We just need to fight it
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What we should do for bitcoin on: April 13, 2019, 05:54:12 PM
What we should do for bitcoin to make main currency of whole world
I think we need unity of all crypto lovers to spread awareness about btc to fast mass adoption
What all you think
is that a suggestion or just a random talk that just pumped out of your brain?  I mean you really not saying anything fact is that at least 60% the world's population knows about Bitcoin since the government has been tackling it. So I was expecting you to say something different
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 13, 2019, 05:43:26 PM
Do many people around you claim that bitcoin is bad? yes this happened around my place.
I don't care what they say, even though I haven't been here long, but I'm sure bitcoin isn't as bad as they think, this is a future technology where when the future comes, we are ahead and they are still behind  Cool. I am sure of that!
a lot of things about bitcoin and would always do that. Sometimes you need to pay attention to what they say, don't say you don't care because there are things you could learn from them. I don't give deaf ears to what people says about cryptocurrency, I read wide and listen to hear more that way I learn.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's Your Bounty Story? on: April 11, 2019, 08:16:07 AM

I am a bounty hunter, i got to know about cryptocurrencies during the days of ponzi schemes, just like everybody who did ponzi, i wanted to earn more and my only option was to provide help in a cryptocurrency known as bitcoin. That was the first time i heard about bitcoin in my life.

I got fond of bitcoin and this was as a result of the rise on the dollar value i kept experiencing when ever i held a certain amount of btc. I became intrigue and went on research. In the course of my research discovered that there were a lot of other coins and with further research i found myself particpating in faucets and my first and second ever faucet love were; the bitcoin and litecoin faucets.

Through faucet i was introduced to cryptocurrency groups, where i learnt more about cryptocurrencies and i how to own other cryptocurrencies aside bitcoins and litecoins. I got to know that you can buy them in crypto exchanges and you can even buy them before they get to these exchanges which is a lot cheaper (ICOs) fortunately for me ICO was cool then and i was able to buy a few.

Through the group, i got to know about airdrops and bounties for those of us that did faucets, it was a sweet option so i jumped into it with so much energy and the rewards were great.

Not so long after earning some btc and ltc through faucets, doing airdrops, bounties and investing in ICOs the bull run sets in and i was shocked as to the rise in value of little my portfolio. I was joyful and kept adding more coins and then the dip sets in, i became frustrated and felt very bad emotionally. it was a trying period in my life but i was always determined not to let go, so i kept on with doing more bounties and now i am smiling again.
So tell me, whats your bounty story?
well we all have our stories to tell, I also knew about crypto  after I joined a ponzi scheme which make use of Bitcoin as a means of transaction and after then, I have been investigating and exploring cryptocurrency. From there I got to know about many things
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take the profit OR hold on on: April 11, 2019, 07:24:05 AM
I have invested in ETH when it was $105. Now it's $176. Will it be a good idea to take the profit now? Or I should hold on for better profit which may lead to less profit too  Grin Suggestion is appreciated.
sell or hold, all depends on you. It all depends on your long-term or short-term goal. If your holding have given you Enough profit and you want to sell, then it all depends on you. If you also want to hold much longer it's still your choice. The truth is, no one will tell you when to sell or not
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the new model of fundrising is IEO on: April 10, 2019, 08:45:19 AM
the BTC market in 2018 is very bad and created a bear market. and that affects the fundraising model (ICO). finally a new alternative fundraising was coming such as STO and new model fundrising can attracted many large investors is the IEO.

We know that ICO can make money quickly because of the public sales model, but the fundrising model is often used by scammers to get money quickly and only for the benefit of the team. even some projects don't care about their projects. so they only create bad coin coins that have no value on the market.
coins from the IEO can be directly traded in the exchange after the sale is complete. but the ICO model must wait a long time to trade after it is listed in the exchange. so I think IEO is reliable and user friendly. how about you all ?
do you see bad results from the IEO?
as much as I know with the little research I have done about IEO, it's no better than the ICO. My greatest challenge with the IEO is the fact that it's sales finishes in less than 30sec leaving out smaller investors from being part of the offering.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still experiencing the bearish market? on: April 10, 2019, 08:37:41 AM
Of course bearish market still happened in the midst of minor pumps lately, and I wouldn't be surprised since those other holders grabbed the small opportunity of that price increase. However, no need to be afraid of current price downfall because it was just a natural fluctuations as part of bearish trend nowadays. Keep your faith and always have positive expectations in the future coming days.
there are still much speculation concerning the market currently. On the recent news it was stated that Bitcoin has reached the over-bought region just as it was in 2017 and so we should expect the price to crash even below 3k. I don't know if it's just a FUD to make people panic or it will actually happen.  Let's keep our fingers crossed
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 10, 2019, 08:32:15 AM
I have no doubts after a few observation but ieos are just an upgrade how ?

Ieos that successfully sold out on binance bittrex and kucoin, can they sold out on latoken? Or dobi trades  ?

Main focus is; in ieos hundreds get to participate , then after ieo is over; it leaves thousands of people eager to get in and be a part of the movement

This causes an upturn in price for few days; then the usual dip that follows ico token after listing takes place too

So what’s the difference exactly ??

NB: just my thoughts ; feel free to modify, suggest and contribute
you are very correct, IEOs are not different from ICOs. I already observed this and have made it clear on my comments long before now. Many think IEOs has anything different about it. The worst part of it all is the IEOs has a greater disadvantages where smaller investors finds it difficult to participate in its supposed offerings.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in? on: April 09, 2019, 10:42:36 AM
Hello all,

Probably you've heard the same question every day, but I'm a bit confused...
I've got some money to invest, I'm following some coins from months but the prices doesn't change.
What I mean by ,,the prices doesn't change,, let's give ETH as example in the last 2 months the price was between 92£ and 129£ and I don't know if is a good idea investing... Please change my mind and give me some options and opinions please.

Thank you.
well, if the Coin or token you have been following has not make any changes to you or you are not comfortable with it you can look at other Coin or token and invest in them. Investing in ethereum is good but since you are having some doubt I suggest you forget about it.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything You Need to Know about IEO on: April 09, 2019, 10:10:29 AM
IEO is the riskiest investment that you should involve yourself in. I can't imagine you risking investing or buying into an asset that was sold-out in just 10 seconds. That's a high risk investment because there was no sells because the whales already bought before it was released for sales.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take the profit OR hold on on: April 09, 2019, 10:04:55 AM
I don't know how you expect people to tell you when to sell your assets. If you think you have made enough profit, then take out your profit. You alone knows what youwant to do without money.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 14million dollar stolen by a thief on tuxedo ( keplertek.io ) on: April 08, 2019, 12:09:06 PM
I don't think the picture is his real face because many scammers don't use their real profiles. this is very common for this scammers. We all need to be careful with all this guys
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useful Tips to Find Best ICOs that  You can Invest In? on: April 08, 2019, 11:33:04 AM
In recent times, blockchain based crypto mining and investment projects are getting immensely popular in the investment management industry among both the private and institutional investors. Such platforms provide a completely automated, trustworthy, secure and transparent trading environment to investors.

Pieta is also one such solar energy backed crypto mining ecosystem (project) that aims to minimize the high cost and excessive energy consumption in mining operations in an attempt to protect the environment. Pieta also uses the latest X20 hashing algorithm that reduces the energy consumption up to 50 percent in blockchain mining operations. This is important to keep the mining equipment cooler, efficient as well as profit the miners.
Such blockchain projects use Initial Coin Offering (ICOs) at the initial project stages as a means of crowdfunding. Well, you should also know that ICOs are unregulated in many countries due to security concerns. Despite this, ICOs are rapidly becoming popular in crypto space due to the disruptive capabilities of the underlying blockchain or DLT technology projects. Choosing a winning ICO is still an uphill task for investors as nobody knows what will come ahead.

Still, here are some of the key steps that you should follow to find best ICOs that you can invest in:

Search and Verify ICOs on Popular Crypto Forums

You as an investor should always visit the popular crypto forums to get an accurate idea about the crypto and blockchain projects that people are talking and excited about. Reddit, Steamit, and Bitcointalk are some of the popular and active crypto forums to get details about upcoming popular blockchain projects and their ICOs.

Look out for ICO Project Development Team

Before investing in an ICO, the second important thing you should do as an investor is a study about its development team so that you can get an idea about their area expertise, experience, and participation in blockchain community. You should also trace their social media accounts to check any red flags like newly created accounts.

Figure out about the Venture Capital Funding in ICO

You as an investor should also try to communicate with the project development team to get details about any venture capital funding to the project that has been acclaimed already to ensure the credibility of the project. Venture Capitalists (VCs) are experienced investors who have ample knowledge and resources to verify whether the project they invested will succeed or not? It's not necessary that VCs gets success every time, but you can go with their instincts.

Study the White Paper

Studying and examining the white paper of an ICO project after initial background research is also essential for you as an investor as it contains the essence of the project. If you are a bit unfamiliar with the white paper world, then you should start reading some solid ones like Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin white paper. A typical crypto whitepaper contains sections like the overview, mission, technical description, token information, roadmap, and project team.

Open Source Code based Project

At last, you before investing in a blockchain project ICO should also figure that the project code is working and in an open source mode, This a good sign that developers are worried about the betterment of the project and has enabled the developer community contribution option.

good write though but there is more to know a better ico. It's true one should read wp but many scam projects have a well written wp this days. So a deep research is needed to avoid falling for bad  a deep research about the team is necessary
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 08, 2019, 11:25:49 AM
I believe many have learnt their lessons by now because a lot have lost money on scam projects since 2017 during the bull market and it looks like there was a decrease of this project be the market was bad. Let's be vigilant

Bro the market always goes up and down, but I don't believe that Bitcoin will have a huge pull back as it happened in 2018. So the market will sometime decline in price in some percentages but not as we have seen before at least no so soon.
