281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP! I want to invest but don't know which and how. is DigiByte ok? on: October 20, 2019, 09:14:57 PM
It's a good thing you have interest in the blockchain, blockchain is indeed the future. Your idea isn't bad but before you invest in any project, make sure you are following updates about the project not just the price fluctuations in the exchange. Try to know if the team of the project is still active and also the community. Don't just look at only the price of the token, buying because price is very cheap.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: October 19, 2019, 01:38:13 PM
Like they would say, never say never. This is typical of the crypto space. Everything is possible, even ethereum is possible to overtake Bitcoin but I doubt it will happen in the nearest future, it's features are capable of taking it over but the dominance of Bitcoin wouldn't allow for now.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: October 19, 2019, 09:45:38 AM
Talking about scammers, I believe their are in every industry and crypto industry wouldn't be an exception. The only thing we can do now is to do our research not to fall victim of such scam, there are some good projects out there with some working product, let's try to find them and not blame anyone.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 19, 2019, 05:07:01 AM
It could be the truth that good projects can't be found every month, that not withstanding, doing research in the crypto space is a key factor to progress. Both Bounty hunters and Investors should always carry out research before taking part in the bounty so as not to waste your time or waste your money for investors.
Also the Binance Initial exchange offering is good because Projects go through scrutiny, there are other exchanges too like KuCoin exchange, gate.io too.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: October 18, 2019, 09:17:28 PM
In crypto, never say never, everything is possible but even at that I don't believe crypto will get to zero, truly there will come a time when some shit coins will be wiped off, only those with use case will be in the know. So invest properly, the likes of bitcoin and ethereum will never get to zero
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: October 17, 2019, 09:06:54 PM
The rate of scam is now so much, fake project everywhere, perhaps because it is cheap to start up and make profit from innocent newbies. This is why we should endeavour to make or carry out research before investing in any project to avoid pains and regrets
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! THE MOST EXCITING NEWS TODAY !!! FOR YOU ??? on: October 17, 2019, 08:36:33 PM
Right now I really can't say if there is anything exciting about cryptocurrency, just seem like nothing is happening yet there have been some news and updates, but it hasn't really changed anything. We just hope to see an exciting news in the near future.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin? on: October 17, 2019, 12:44:37 PM
First we need to put it at the back of our mind that there is no certainty in crypto. Also we should know that every business entails risks and if you are too scared of risk, then you wouldn't try anything new. Now, putting that aside,  before investing you need to do research on the project, follow their social handles, read their white paper, then know the people backing up the project, that should give you a little rest of mind that you are investing in a project that will be successful
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 16, 2019, 11:01:19 AM
While we keep complaining of scam projects, people are there making profit, like already said, it's a free market, I mean the crypto space, where you find all sorts of individuals, what is needed in the crypto space is complete research so as not to fall into a scam project, because every business has it's good and bad, so crypto isn't an exception but we need to be cautious and open minded.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors still complaining? on: October 16, 2019, 10:50:39 AM
They are definitely complaining because of theit loss of fund, it is very painful to not get your capital back, I think investors should carry out enough research to know if a project is worth investing in, check the team of the project, what solution the project would bring, also sometimes the exchange where the Initial exchange offering is done is also another factor to a successful project.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: October 15, 2019, 09:13:17 PM
On the part of the early investors, I think they are taking a big risk to invest in such project and this is why the developers have decided to give out such bonus to early investors but I think it is too much and could really lead also to a dump because they are willing to sell at a cheaper amount due to the fact that they got it at a discount through bonus
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you desperately looking for exchanges to dump your altcoins on: October 14, 2019, 09:38:22 AM
I also hold some shit altcoins that I have decided to ignore and act like it's not there. Now I have learnt to buy good Altcoins with potentials. Also if I must do bounty, I have to also do projects that I believe won't be another wasted effort  after carrying out some research.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: October 14, 2019, 09:10:34 AM
Well it depends on individual choice and capacity, short term is more like day trading and that is a bit difficult and risky if you don't know the strategies involved in day trading. For me, I would go for long term investment, look for coins that have potential, follow it up, know when it is down, then invest and wait for it to rise, then I sell, that's a lot more easier.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hardware wallets safe? on: October 13, 2019, 03:58:47 PM
Hardware wallets are very safe when compared to App wallet or web wallet, as long as you keep your seed safe, then you are also safe. In cases where you can't get the hardware wallet and you are using app or web wallet, make sure to protect your private keys and also avoid clicking on phishing sites which may lead to your wallet.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not be deceived by inexperienced bounty hunters on: October 13, 2019, 02:18:16 PM
Well I wouldn't totally disagree, yes people make some cool cash but then it's once in a while, if a bounty hunter says there is no pay in bounty, then that person might be talking out of experience doesn't necessarily mean he or she wants to deceive others. With intensive research one can get a few good projects.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers, the biggest crypto problem on: October 13, 2019, 06:24:45 AM
Scanners are everywhere, in all works of life, not just in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, you see them where ever there is money, and they like to reap from people's effort. They can't be stopped, even if you arrest any, some more will spring up, all we can do in the cryptocurrency space is to safe guard  our assets, be careful of links we click on, keep our secret keys safe, use Google Authenticator for our exchange account.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 13, 2019, 05:57:27 AM
Well I understand your point, we know that that in the cryptocurrency ecosystem today Bitcoin is seen as a trusted crypto but then we should also diversify, the blockchain space isn't just about Bitcoin, if our major investment is in Bitcoin, we should at least have little investment in Altcoin that have potential not just some shit Altcoin
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: p2pb2b exchange top 1? on: October 12, 2019, 04:54:04 AM
It is very obvious that it is fake, what this exchange just cares about is getting ranked up to the highest top. So much people have complained about it with too much bot trades on-going. Anyone trading there should just be very careful so that you don't have any reason to regret. So just forget about their ranking in Coinmarketcap.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 12, 2019, 04:35:07 AM
The problem is that most bounty hunters especially newbies just promote any project that come their way, most times they don't care to do research, all they want is to just get paid with the token not minding If the token has volume for trades, and this happens most especially if it's a trading bounty. Hunters should ways to research so as not to waste their time.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your token's on: October 11, 2019, 09:12:08 AM
Hardware wallets are safe if you are ready to have it. Generally I think we should keep our private keys safe and never disclose it to anyone not even your closest pal. Also if you must protect your protect your tokens you should be mindful of sites you click so as not to get hacked. There should be a back up of your private key.
