GW 32 winner is Rruchi man, congratulations, 1 mBTC free bet coming your way.
Hey Trofo, I received the free bet, but it disappeared just before I could use it.

 Please look into it.
Oh man, don’t tell me you let it waste away without taking a bet on it. You would be the first man to have done that in recent time. All that 84 points can’t be for nothing really.
Them free bets are usually credited on mondays and comes with an expiry date hence, your expected to take a bet, it doesn’t matter when the game is to be played but the bet has to be made before the expiry date and you’ll be good.

Having it credited and it disappeared wouldn’t be far from that but, I guess Trofo still has to clear things on how you’re missing your free bet after having such a good week.
In between, congrats!

People are asking several questions on whether Arsenal will be able to defeat Bayern at Bayern's home, but I know what Arsenal are made of now.It is going to be a tough match, but I see Arsenal coming out to be the Winner of that encounter. One thing I've loved about this Arsenal team is that, when it seems you've lost faith in them,is when they will turn out to surprise you,and win well.
I trust in Arteta, the squad, the tactics and the way Arsenal are composed these days when facing big teams. It is a win win for Arsenal, and I'm optimistic about that.
I literally had this talk with a few friends today. If Arsenal could be able to beat Bayern Munich at home, haven’t lost that chance to make good use of their home advantage especially, with the absence of fans support for Bayern Munich but still ended up drawing with Bayern. Like, I saw the enthusiastic nature of the Arteta side, the eagerness to end the game in a win but, they already let Bayern get ahead of them and coming back from behind to take the lead against such a team and even with a few formal EPL league players on the team wasn’t going to come without some serious challenge.

It’s going to be a really tough challenge for Arsenal and Arteta who has little managerial knowledge in the EPL but, I think his squad is good enough to see Bayern out.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: April 11, 2024, 11:05:52 PM
First of all I will like to define hobby in my own understanding. Something that one like to do always either for pleasure, leisure or entertainment.
I think this remains an acceptable definition for the term, hobby.
Though, when one finds himself having gambling for a hobby, you might find yourself being an addictive gambler. That’s because, hobby comes with a key phrase which is “something one does likes to do often” and when someone likes to gamble often, that is an addicted gambler.
With addiction being something that should be avoided by any gambler as it relates the field, gambling can’t be something you do as a hobby. It just wouldn’t suit very much, you’ve got to step it down.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 10, 2024, 11:55:23 PM

The games ended differently from yesterday's game, the yesterday's games ended in a draw, but there were winners in this games. Athletico's victory would have been lost because Dortmund became charged up after the last goal from the Ivorian striker who came on as a substitute. It was a goal worthy to be called a goal from a striker because it well struck. In the second leg, the coach should really consider starting him because he can increase their chances to score.

Barcelona won in France, they will welcome the french club to Spain and have the upper hand still.
So many turns yo yesterday’s game between PSG and Barcelona. Coming from behind to take the lead just when you was getting comfortable. Barcelona came out strong and started the scoring but soon after, PSG found a way to equalize and even took the lead, thanks to the ingenuity of Ousmane Dembélé, the formal Barcelona player just minutes in the second half and not far from that time, PSG had a second goal. I really thought it was up for Barcelona but no, they got right back into the game, scored an equalizer and even had their win by 3 goals to 2. That was surprising! While yesterday’s games produced 2 draws, today’s games produced 2 wins to the Spanish side.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 09, 2024, 09:04:43 PM
Yes, that's impressive even though it's a bit annoying for me, it should have been Real Madrid 2 - 3 Manchester City until the end of the match, currently the score is Real Madrid 3 - 3 Manchester City,
Yeah, it was a little disappointing for me when I saw that score line Real Madrid 2:3 Manchester City. I know Manchester City have got the form to have that kind of effect on a game but, not with this poor form and against a team like Real Madrid while playing from a home side in a pride UCL. A draw seems like a fair outcome for such fixture but, I really wanted to see the progress of Real Madrid in this round.

Arsenal had a good game but, they could have won none the less. Didn’t see nothing in Saka’s final penalty appeal, it seemed obvious at first but, Saka went for the contact and not Neuer as it would have been some inevitable penalty. That’s some experience from the old time best in the world. His still got it.

I don’t know what you think altcoins are or even forks but, should you be looking at for them, you could find them on just about any exchange you visit, ain’t nothing out of place about that.

If your idea is that, somehow the influence of Bitcoin and its place in the cryptospace would be contested by some fork or altcoin, you would be very well mistaken. That ain’t going to happen as there are benefits that comes with being the pioneer to a field and that’s what Bitcoin enjoys the most today plus, it’s decentralized and highly user involved consensus nature in maintaining the integrity of the network.

But, I guess this isn’t the main intent is it.
Perhaps those who didn’t get in earlier enough seems to hope for a better opportunity in another coin under the name of swift transactions. You could always seek that out in altcoins but, know the risk otherwise, your best option remains to buy Bitcoin as we still at its early phases.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 09, 2024, 07:41:00 PM

Im watching the match between Arsenal and Bayern Munich and Arsenal are the better team. The fact that its 1:1 is a bit of a surprise after the first 30 minutes, but Im sure that at least 1 goal will be scored today. I would bet on Arsenal, they are simply much better, they have the ball under control for almost the entire game and dominate the game. Unbelievably, there are penalties for Bayern at this moment... another surprise. Now Im looking at the shot.
Bayern got a penalty in the 36th minute and Harry Kane stepped up to take it for sure, you just have to know his going to convert and he did as expected, the game is now Arsenal 1:2 Bayern Munich. Obviously the first half is going to be a loss yo Arsenal as I don’t see them coming back from this even with them being the better side. They would need to go in the dressing room for some tactical and morale boost talk from the manager and spring back to grab 2 goals in the second half, they just have to. This game is supposed to end in a win to Arsenal, it ain’t a game to end in a draw.

Real Madrid happens to be leading in their fixture against Manchester City as I hoped. Manchester City haven’t been in the best of form and that is what we are seeing here in the UCL.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: April 09, 2024, 07:31:31 PM
Is this true gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it?
So many fields have come to a greater publicity because of the means to publicity and how it’s been moderated over the years to have a user friendly environment and a high level of fair play. Gambling is one of the industry that have utilized most of the technology in recent times to benefit both the CEOs in the industry and the few individuals that choose to gamble responsibly and within some well defined principles.

Of course people lose money to this field, a lot of users for sure but, is it because of the activities of the gambling industry or the gamblers themselves? That’s the question that should be on the lips of a lot of persons. Gambling isn’t centered on losses but, should you fail to not gamble responsibly and within some principles to the field, you wouldn’t be far from losses.

Like every other business, you can win or loss. When it comes to gambling, just ensure your having fun while testing your stars.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you consider yourself, the family and gambling? on: April 09, 2024, 07:25:14 PM
1. At what age will you allow your child to start gambling? that is if you will even allow for that at all?
2. At what age do you see yourself quit gambling? that is also if some of us are going to ever do so?
3. Ever since you have started gambling, have you ever achieve a satisfying level that makes you think it has good impact on you?
4. Would you have missed out on anything if you were not a gambler?
For the first question if the father is a gambler then he will allow his children gambling and I will not know which age he will like to allowing them to gambling but as for me from 18 years and above because at that age they can withstand with the pressure of gambling. Then the number two question is that quitting gambling is something that is very difficult mostly when you have played gambling until it has enter into your blood. But from age 75 is a good age to stop gambling. Then the third question, even those who have won millions and billions are still gambling so as for me nobody has satisfied with gambling win and I have not also.
It’s very unlikely that a parent would allow their child to gamble, not even when themselves are compulsive gamblers or addicts to the industry. I think this could only come into play for the few individuals that sees it for a profession. For these persons, you could find them go as far as coaching there wards on how to gamble the various markets (these are just my assumptions with respect to what is obtainable in other professions and to set the records straight, I’ve not seen any gambler exhibiting these character).

70+ age seems like an age to draw the line but, that’s when we look at 70+ years of age to be really old. Some guys could be really young for their age and you could find them gambling still. I’ll always limit this to reasoning.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 08, 2024, 10:32:00 PM
The thing is playing at home gives you the edge of your fans backing you against just anybody, going away is tricky at the current moment in the league. The away fans might actually be a nuisance especially when it is that of a rival, they push the home team to win.

Most times, when we talk about a home advantage, it almost feels like there is more that is added to the side playing from a home side to give them that added advantage but no, it’s mainly due to player mentality and how familiar with your pitch.
Haven’t run on the pitch so many times, played on it, you would know just where to make the right curves, what elevation and angle to take the shot or pass and get more accuracy, it works.
Also, you have your fans there to back up all decisions, cheering and booing at the same time to put you in the right frame of mind to win there favour by winning the game.
You’re never alone on the pitch and don’t play the game with just your team mates and the opposition, your fans are always right there with you. When they seem to be inconsiderate and goes ahead to make you feel less of yourself on the pitch, it’s just them letting out there frustration for a paid to watch game.
293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seed phrase backup against natural disaster areas on: April 08, 2024, 10:25:19 PM
It is important to backup your seed phrase but some people said the backup is not good online but which is true because we have seen how hackers was able to see some people seed phrase online and steal their coins. But I have been thinking recently that how can people in countries with natural disaster be able to backup their seed phrase offline? An example is the flooding that occured in Pakistan like 2 or 3 years ago that submerged 1/3 of the country under water. Even if you backup your seed phrase offline in many locations, it is possible that kind of flood can lead to permanent loss of your offline seed phrase.
The importance of seed phrase and private keys with regards to its storage can’t be any less emphasized and here again is a very sensitive case to the matter. One of the ways most of use do implore in storing our seeds is by having it physical inscribed somewhere and with good reason, the web is interconnected and lately, it’s been exploited for all possible reasons which makes anything and everything over the web vulnerable. Data in the wrong hands could mean a lot of damage and worst of all, seed phrase.

Something I know even without having to live in a disaster area is that, a warning is always passed out months or weeks before disaster strikes. As humans, we most times don’t heed this warnings but, it’s a time to get yourself prepared for the inevitable. While we have the technology to make possible predictions with accuracy, it’s good not to gamble it.

It’s always an awkward thing to do and I don’t know how your comfortable doing it at OP, trying to give just want you don’t have in you and that is, being active on the forum or adding to it any kind of value. The thread you’ve created seems like a good one and we’ve had a couple of these on the forum but, how do you expect anyone to take you any serious if you aren’t showing it in the way your account is built.

I would rather live you an advice @OP, rather than trying to give what you’ve not got, don’t preach it in just words but, reflect what you wish to preach and you would find people easily taking to you and what you say on the forum. Still, I’ll give you credit for trying, it’s a good thing!
295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking profits / being greedy. on: April 08, 2024, 10:09:18 PM
I constantly hear people who have experienced a bull run advise to take profits and I will but is now too soon?

I can take the 24x now, but I only need my investment to double in price again and that will give me a 48x which is a massive difference.
If the unnamed altcoin happens to be confirming to what moves Bitcoin is doing in the market, then there is a tendency that, come next bullrun, you could find it heading towards the bulls as well and that would put you in a position to make more profit.
Mind you, it’s altcoin we are talking about here and the risk factor is always on the high side given that, a fall is often a dead weight. You just wouldn’t find it pumping ever. No one wants to have their money lost to any altcoin investment no more.
You’ve already made a best move in taking out your capital but, you didn’t just invest to get back your capital, did you…?
I would advice you get some more of those profits and invest it with Bitcoin while, you hold a few to see how it plays out.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you advise a friend in the same way? on: April 06, 2024, 06:21:50 PM
I told him to think about investing that money if he wants to keep the company growing, I told him about how MicroStrategy is doing so well using Bitcoin as a strong backbone of the company, I believe that even a small company can turn big if they use Bitcoin as their main investment.
Money makes money and it doesn’t do that seating in some bank, that’s a bad idea to me. It ain’t all bad that you have some fiat savings but, it should be some minimal amount based on what stage you are in life. You try to quantify it and what you worry more over, get it insured. Should you be more about the business as a center of focus which should be, be sure to insure it while, you redirect a considerable part of that funds to Bitcoin investment amongst others and even look to expand the business.
There are more than one means to securing a business and making money, utilize what technology is available to you and the business is sure to grow well above what he took control over.  Though, no where in this said his old man was deceased and as such, you seek him out on opinions if need be.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: April 06, 2024, 06:14:13 PM
Today's match of Brighton vs Arsenal team in Premier League has already started. So far Arsenal team is leading by 1 goal. Arsenal team player B. Saka has scored in 33 minutes. So far Brighton team has not scored any goal. Brighton team has tried a lot but no goal.  Can't do it. Let's see which team wins today's match. I think Brighton team can't perform very well. Arsenal team is much stronger team than Brighton team.
I really didn’t see Arteta featuring Saka in this fixtures and to my amazement, there he was on the score sheet and am like wow! I get it that Saka remains a vital asset to the squad and with the league almost coming to a round off, he’s not out to take chances but, still felt Saka would be given few more days to heal or less playing time but, Arteta wouldn’t have it. Saka seems fit to go though and he already gave Arsenal the lead, K. Havertz added another goal to seal the game for Arsenal. Don’t see a coming back from this for Crystal Palace but their defiance gives me the impression of a consolation goal, at least to not allow Arsenal keep a clean sheet.

Manchester City had a good game and once more KDB shows his quality why Pep don’t have to take him from the games, an early reply said it all. It’s a tight way to go in the top 3.

1. At what age will you allow your child to start gambling? that is if you will even allow for that at all?
At the age that he or she proves to me that his matured enough. I think things like this isn’t what you really get to decide even because, I don’t see myself ever getting comfortable with my child, I even wouldn’t want to hear them speak of it though, I would like to give them some advice on how to handle it but, that would be in cases of trying to get some obvious control over the industry rather than have them go headlocks with it.

2. At what age do you see yourself quit gambling? that is also if some of us are going to ever do so?
At the age my sense fails me and I don’t get to find any fun in the practice or game. Even I don’t get to decide that but, my cognitive ability and sense would do the bidding.

3. Ever since you have started gambling, have you ever achieve a satisfying level that makes you think it has good impact on you?
Yeah, of course. I think the most I have archived isn’t in monetary terms, winning and all that but the fact that, am way above my emotions or urges to gamble when I wouldn’t have liked to is a taste I enjoy so well.

4. Would you have missed out on anything if you were not a gambler?
Definitely,
What it feels like to loosing for just no good reason, lol…! The thrills and chills it comes, all that.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Technology and work ethics on: April 06, 2024, 07:05:46 AM
I understand the importance of monitoring workers to ascertain there level of productivity, and to improve workers attendance and also enhance Cyber security but then, the inability of most management to go about this ethically has been of great concern to me.

What's your view about this?
So am trying to come to terms with privacy when it comes to a working environment and I think for most companies, they do a great deal in doing that. Your in a work environment and should be doing your job when your there, there isn’t anything wrong with a company have high level of control of there asset and by that I mean human and gadgets included while within the work premises. It’s important that they know what is being done with their gadgets as you could ruin them, reputation and otherwise.

Having a CCTV camera in place serves a number of purpose which includes protection of its staff and vindication of staff as well. It’s not so negative with this. Perhaps when your home you could get more privacy and not at work. The places where privacy is of vital essence in a work place, it’s often ensured possible and that be the toilet. Else, go home!

Rich gets richer and poor is getting poorer that's why you see long queue while you book a car or going to an expensive restaurant, etc. There is no way to turn this around unless you wakeup to the reality and starts making changes in your life that will lead to you make more money.
It’s an interesting circle of life that very few people tends to break from one circle to the other. While the rich might be way too luxurious and careless with their taxes to eventually go bankrupt the poor look to level up in status or eventually get crushed.
All is in an attempt for life to go on and life most go on else, what is it to living.
The society is designed by men and men do live it still. What we might experience is either more and more entrepreneurship with individuals becoming more innovative by the day or more crime rate, that’s how it is. All is in the bid to survive, it’s always been survival of the most prepared. People would enjoy what you might call expensive or lavish lifestyle and still have some to spare, it’s simply where you are in life and how prepared you are.
