281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: July 13, 2020, 01:08:45 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?
It doesn't make the project a dead one but only the team can bring light into this, they have to find another exchange to list the token on and if the team or channel group is dead it means that the project is abandoned
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always look at the coins MAX supply on: July 12, 2020, 09:20:23 PM
Too much max supply is not good but not entirely bad, I believe that what makes a token or coin have better adoption rate is it's use case, let's drop max supply thing and focus on real use case, many coins in crypto space has worse use case that's why they are dragging below till today
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Information about mobile wallet pls on: July 12, 2020, 08:55:02 PM
Some please recommend a reliable crypto mobile wallet that's very easy to operate for newbie like me, I only tried copay and mycelium wallet, thanks
This is just my own thoughts, coinomi wallet is not bad at all but trust wallet has better features, you raised point about erc20 tokens, on trust wallet you won't need to add tokens manual like you have to on coinomi wallet, once an erc20 token is sent to your ethereum address it will display without you adding them yourself
There is nothing wrong in having both, I have more than two wallets on my smartphone which are
1. Coinomi wallet
2. Trust wallet
3. Token pocket

All these three are useful for different reasons and I can't get rid of either one of them
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Information about mobile wallet pls on: July 12, 2020, 08:45:04 PM
JAXX wallet has a new overall design with integrated exchange for mobile.
Jaxx is closed source wallet, you should avoid it.

You can try using exodus, it's good option if you want to hold little amount altcoins. But, if you want to hold large amount altcoins, I suggest to use ledger or trezor wallet for better security than web wallets.

Personally, I never use coinomi... but I think you should read this WARNING - Coinomi Wallet CRITICAL Vulnerability Made Me Lose My Life Savings and think twice before you want to use it

If you want to hold bitcoin, like anyone said... you can choose electrum. Because it's safe and easy to use for both newbies or pros

The problem with coinomi been vunerable to attacks only affected the desktop wallet Version and I think it's been fixed, I've been using coinomi mobile Wallet for a while and I have no problem with my coins
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: July 12, 2020, 05:40:55 PM
I know this have been discussed several times on this forum but yet I will like to drop this again, I'm sure few new developers are among us here, so here we go

It will be a whole new story if new projects can start paying bounty hunters in USD or stablecoin, this have few advantages over paying with your own tokens, if new projects find it as a most for people to try out their new Blockchain they should use airdrops instead, airdrops has the lowest rewards, hardly to get 2$ in airdrops today

As for bounties please start paying in USDT, DAI or USDC, this will erase your sense of 'bounty hunters are killing new projects' idea

Will you prefer to pay in USDT if you are a developer? It's easier to say for you since you aren't a dev, for new project team it's more easier to pay bounty hunters in token this is a risk that bounty hunters must take
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Doubt] Pending Ethereum transaction on: July 11, 2020, 07:04:18 PM
same as what happened to me, but I have resolved, because I added GAS, and transactions can occur,
if your GAS is low, then pending will occur
I'm currently facing this type of problem with my ethereum wallet, I've sent out transaction for 7 days now and still pending, how will I add GAS to a transaction that's been already sent out? I will be happy if I can get help
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DeFi Craze: Could ETH be seen positive reaction in coming days? on: July 07, 2020, 06:13:38 PM
Be less hopeful on this one people, DeFi looks interesting at the moment but still looks like the same old for HYPE sake to me, another form of ICO I'm disguise, just know where you will invest your money, no one knows how this DeFi will be in future, I don't believe it's capable of driving ethereum value up but it's all about waiting.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 07, 2020, 05:19:50 PM
It's not fair to avoid bounties from new bounty managers, that's not a good way to encourage new bounty managers, if they make stupid it's normal to correct them, I don't see how this is bad, please let's encourage bounty hunters to join projects from new bounty managers, it depends on projects quality
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 07, 2020, 05:12:46 PM
I have noticed that there are many people here who do not understand that many cryptocurrencies are stablecoins. Stablecoin means that its price is designed to be as stable as possible. That means there will be no ROI from buying bunch of stablecoins. Coins with very large or infinite max supply are very likely designed to be stablecoins because that way they can stabilize the price by emitting more coins when the coin scales rapidly. Just like they do with FIAT to keep the exchange rate stable.
What is the purpose of this post OP? I have never seen people investing on stablecoins hoping to make big ROI back because it's not possible, even a crypto newbie knows the difference, the easiest coin to understand is stable coins
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Happens To The Altcoins If Bitcoin Drops Strong? on: July 06, 2020, 03:28:59 PM
If Bitcoin loses value 90% or more altcoins will have no choice but to dump in price and if Bitcoin regain value almost all altcoins will recover but not all altcoins, some projects are built to withstand deep revaluation because of their use cases
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Kingcasino is The another scam project in 2020? on: July 06, 2020, 03:17:42 PM
Kingcasino is The another scam project in 2020?
Bad news for bounty hunters, yes my dear friends kingcasino is the another scam project in 2020. Because the are stop the bounty programs & they are going to refund invester money . I don't know what they doing?
But it's confirmed scam?
A big scam indeed, bounty hunters who aren't good at doing good research became a victim to the scam project, even the bounty manager ( Bounty Detective ) became a victim too, it was a well planned scam project, I hate seeing new projects going for p2pb2b exchange because that exchange supports too many scam projects, that's enough for me to turn away from kingcasino
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the market saturated with too many stablecoins? on: July 06, 2020, 03:06:02 PM
Even if the number stable coins reach 1000 it won't hurt crypto at all, the use case of stable coins is to backed your assets at 1:1 USD price which is very useful for traders, you just have to decide which one you've prefer between centralized USD coins or decentralized USD coins
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: July 04, 2020, 02:06:35 PM
Not everyone, for some who are good at doing research failure is very limited, I read what happened to kingcasino bounty project, after few warnings about the project some still went ahead and promote the scam project and got hurt in the end
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smartphones aren't spywares attack proof on: July 04, 2020, 02:00:11 PM
Root access don't just give full access to unlock the maximum potential of your smartphones but also give some good and bad apps the full access to work I'm your phone, inbuilt Android security are no more activated since you root your phone, I'm 100% against rooting, as good as it is it's also that bad
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on DeFi fund losses? on: July 04, 2020, 01:53:01 PM
Whatever is trending in crypto space will definitely be a target for evil doers, DeFi is currently trending as we know it, hackers will do what they can to penetrate DeFi security, this is on DeFi projects team, they have to upgrade their security
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: June 29, 2020, 07:00:54 PM
You are absolutely right OP and I guess the remaining 10% is for those new projects team that fears that COV19 can do damage to crypto on the long run but by now every thing is now more clearer, Bitcoin withstand the pandemic and did very well, there is nothing to fear about, projects team should launch and start development straight away, this COV19 of a thing can even stay longer than expected, something that can take more than a year to conquer, will you guys wait till that time too??
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap's new feature - Chat on: June 13, 2020, 07:11:56 PM
I guess no one has noticed and posted this so, I'll be posting it.

I've noticed that there's a messenger icon beside the search box and it's the new feature they have released, the chat. It requires logging in so you can chat with specific communities for each coin. There are channels made already there and you can join for those channels that you hold the coin. I didn't noticed that it was already announced last June 11.

Wow this is impressive, I don't even notice this, thanks for sharing, I'm looking forward to more features from coinmarketcap soon
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ninety nine percent of new projects are money grabbers on: June 08, 2020, 10:05:03 AM
To me many new projects are here today just for your money, you invest in them and you make them rich, that's why we keep seeing unqualified people becoming developers, it's always about the money, I wish crypto projects are much harder to built, maybe only few scam projects will exists...... I know how easy it is to built erc20 token and website too, God have mercy on investors, I hope solution comes soon
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum planning to take over??? on: June 07, 2020, 03:33:51 PM
Ethereum isn't trying to take over but trying to be bullish since past days now, my guess is the upcoming staking upgrade is making whales buying more Ethereum and hold for annual rewards so yes there is a big chance that ethereum will reach a new price soon.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Trading on exchanges inside your very own wallet on: June 04, 2020, 01:58:38 PM
If traders and holders can trade on Exchange in their wallet that they own the private keys it will reduce exchange hacks, I'm not talking about dex because this idea is better than DEX, I know some wallets like coinomi and atomic support insta swap using external platforms like shapeshift or uniswap kinda but just think about it

This is something I'm looking forward to, while many might think it's impossible I think it's damn possible, what do you think
