281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stellar (XLM) do it again ? on: November 04, 2019, 10:08:37 PM
We have forgotten one of the preferred altcoin which is similar to Ripple otr know as decentralized version of Ripple. Stellar almost touch $1 during it's peak and again it was under $0.1 for most of the year due to bearish market and I have a strong feeling that it will again make upto $1 if things go well and looking at last three days statistic it has already showing signs of growth and back to 10th rank replacing TRON.

This may be way too early to predict but this is not a prediction it's just my thoughts.

Stellar is one of the strongest cryptocurrency projects like Ethereum around with it development foundation hard at work in breaking new grounds in cryptocurrency but I sincerely doubt it will even reach that high again atleast not in the near future simply because of the amount of coins it has in circulation from airdops and the likes
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: November 04, 2019, 09:26:35 PM
Do you believe that it has started? I have a good feeling that I should buy them before winter. Prove me wrong.
nothing needs to be proven, altcoin season starts if bitcoin starts first, in reality without bitcoin what altcoins can be do. And also in the fact, investors are also more dominant in choosing bitcoin.
You want to buy altcoin? so buy if you feel good.

You are right. Altcoins are really nothing without the Bitcoin. They are two sides of a coin but from experience, bitcoin is the prime market mover. It reacts to catalytic growths first before it altcoin does. So technically, there is a bitcoin bull first before an altcoins season
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: November 04, 2019, 07:59:57 PM
I think your decision is ridiculous, why sell cars to invest in IEO or ICO?
Have you found a project that you will invest in? travel cars go on family trips why sell them? There are still many ways to get capital here with a variety of campaigns, I just suggest not investing in IEO is not good, look for coins that already have potential in the market.

Perhaps he wants to follow the footsteps of CZ who acclaimedly sold his house to invest in Bitcoin. But guess the key word there, its "bitcoin" but lad wants to invest in altcoins. While I think the decision is daring, Its still foolish. Because altcoins mostly are profit driven investments for the developers and besides, cryptocurrency investment is best advice to be done with spare cash.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: November 04, 2019, 07:35:46 PM
2020 looks like it will be a good year for bitcoin and most of its derivatives or strong altcoins that usually mimic its movement. So you might want to start picking up some now, my pick remains Ethereum, bch, BSV, litecoin, Ripple and stellar. I am more confident on these, another breakout next year will be hardly predictable
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: November 04, 2019, 07:31:39 PM
Yes I am still buying altcoins for the long term anyway, I have specific targets in BSV, Bch, bnb, Enj, eth, Neo, HT, xtz among a few others. I can't buy all at once, so I am scooping up periodically with the little dollars I can afford to increase my holdings
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: November 04, 2019, 06:40:11 PM
To have 1000x grow the project will need to bring something new and inovative and only after maybe is a chance to have 1000x, there are other projects who not grow yet and give something new for crypto, but if development team can do then they should develop coin and maybe have some chance of grow.

Projects that have 1000x growth are difficult to find, because the current project is only able to reach tokens on the stock exchange, with the products they offer don't have good value in the community so this can be said to be late in growth, for development in my coins think that is the main and after entering the market the price is not so sure will grow.

I agree that the growth in the competition as well as market expansion has made it very difficult to spot the next x1000. I am sure one pops up once in a while like Mdab but chances of occurrence remains very slim.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So many altcoins on: November 04, 2019, 06:24:59 PM
I don’t know what the government are still waiting for to establish a regulatory body for this since they too are already picking interest in cryptocurrency first from the digital asset of it, if they really want to benefit more from cryptocurrency too, they need to be able to provide adequate security for its users now that it concerns them, because whatever affect their citizens fund will also affect the economy of the country.
Isn't it funny? We want to be free from centralized government and that's the reason why we use bitcoin, altcoins and other blockchain products. In the other side, we ask for a regulation for centralized government to help us avoiding scam projects.

The gift of freedom is usually abused by humans. That's the state we are now. Funny enough, regulation will be the most tenable way to decimate proliferation of useless coins and developer scams because once they do, they will face jail terms in US and China courts. But then, the fear remains if this single decision will not defeat the purpose of bitcoin and cryptocurrency
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Common Mistakes Beginner Cryptocurrency Traders Do on: October 28, 2019, 11:54:46 PM
Well!! Did you know?

Trading crypto is one of the risky thing as a lot of people starts trading without the knowledge of cryptocurrency market.
As a crypto beginner trading crypto safely is one of the best idea ever.

What's your take on this?

A common mistake made by beginner cryptocurencies is that they are lazy in seeking knowledge about cryptocurency from various media to add insight that they will have later. so they are many beginners who complain about failure in doing something and often lose the money they have dan whereas failures and mistakes come from themselves.
Lack of the ability to seek knowledge is a fundamental problem and its fast growing among newbies. They are all after profits and always asking questions like "Wheres btc headed next" "is it late to buy btc now" and some other annoying questions. Often times I wonder what it will take for some of them learn a few thing about crypto trading and prediction, even if it means starting from babypips. I am certain some don't even know hot wallets are or what stop loss means. It appalling because they keep losing money and repeating the process that made them loose funds daily
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coins should i buy? on: October 28, 2019, 11:41:03 PM
Bitcoin please. Others top coins like Ethereum, Neo, eos might be good buys but if you want security for your money, then go for btc. If you must invest huge in crypto with peace of mind too. Btc movement has not really started with predictions taking it to over $22000 by March 2020 and I think its likely to achieve that feat because of the acceptance and attention it is garnering at the moment
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When altcoin season? on: October 28, 2019, 11:37:33 PM
Today's bitcoin has increased significantly, you can see today's market chart that bitcoin has increased 11.5%. and some of the top altcoins are starting to follow the bitcoin price movements. so I think the top altcoin in the market still has a chance to experience price increases again.

everything is dumping these days that bitcoin price is recovering and going back up again. if you check the charts whether in BTC or USD you can see these dumps.
for instance since bitcoin went up 40% that "top" altcoins have dropped from 20 to 50% over the duration of that rise. those that dropped smaller had their USD value rise up like ethereum but those that dumped more than 40% like XRP lost both their BTC and USD value.

Buying alts are so risky but I have a friend I mirror his altcoin trades, we enter together and exit together even with the smallest profit margins irrespective of the exchange and coin. Last trade we executed was Noah coin and Apollo. Altcoins trades is very risky but its profit is quick that is why I indulge in it atimes
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Best to Safely Store Your Coins and ALTs! Bitcoin is treasure; Alts are too. on: October 28, 2019, 11:35:11 PM
Yes hardware wallet is the safest option but not all coins are supported by these devices.

There are other very safe ways to store your coins. You can download a multi coin wallet like coinomi and hold it there on a device that is kept offline most of the time. The most danger comes from downloading files especially compressed ones and opening email.
If you don't send your coins to the wrong address, don't invest in a scam, and don't hold on exchanges, you are already doing more than most investors.

That's true. Top hardware devices majorly support the top and renowned coins on coinmarketcap. I got a Nano s wallet last 2 years and I was looking to store two random tokens I bought from Crex_24 but it gave me a tough time. At a point, I thought I bought a faulty wallet. So since then, I just store btc in my hardware wallet. Mobile wallets like IMToken and trust wallet are more dynamic and accommodating with ample security too as long as you don't loose your phone or you have your Passphrase or private key copied out in your private jotter
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Community Listing - Which token will be next on Binance on: October 28, 2019, 11:26:39 PM
Good afternoon everyone. Just read the news that Binance has opened own program, aimed at supporting the development of high quality blockchain projects in the industry. Main point in here is to support the development of high quality blockchain projects in the listing at least one project on Binance each month over 3 months, selected from the projects currently trading on Binance DEX. So I wonder - are you having own favorites you can advice on? And what are your thoughts on initiative in general? And here is more on rules https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360029155992

It's really amazing how strong the Binance community is. Just a vote listing competition between Carry protocol (CRE) and ARPA made the two coins see over 24 percent rise in the taste 24 hours. I am a Carry protocol fan anyway and I hope it wins.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: October 28, 2019, 11:07:58 PM
People was not expecting president Xi talk about blockchain, i guess the below $5k wont happen anymore because maybe China will be more open to cryptocurrencies and they wont be highly restricting its development.

Yes I believe more adoption will happen as cryptocurrency is now getting a popular reception in China. I am now ever curious on what card America will play to respond to this latest development from China because they always have something up their sleeves. Seeing $5k will be a long thing from now because of this massive news from China
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: October 28, 2019, 10:59:16 PM
I wouldn't say bad days but rather trying days which will be defeated soon by bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I remember early this year when bitcoin did $3500 and boom Libra happened, EtFs and so on which sky rocketed bitcoin to over $11000. Crypto will always bounce back because the tech behind it is inevitable and adoption will surely happen alas gradually
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run / wishful think ? on: October 28, 2019, 09:27:55 PM
Hinestly bullrun is the most awaiting moment of the whole crypto currency community ethusiasm, in the positive thinking side ofcourse hoping before end of this as early as well bullrun comes. Hope this sign is not trap for the expecting bullrun of the crypto community.

I think we should recondition our mindset from what it used to be. Cryptocurrency may not witness that sort of bullrun we witnessed in 2017 because the industry has grown two years older. People now know about crypto and I don't expect massive influx anymore. So to me, I think bullrun is a wishful thinking at the moment till real life applications emerge
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MDAB did over 12,000% Even with seemingly inactive Team. on: October 27, 2019, 10:26:27 PM
Actually, these types of pumps have no strong value. When a coin grows up 12000% then I don't know why people wait to see more growth. Your friends did a huge mistake and MDAB price won't hit again that high! About five months ago, the same thing happened with the TXN token. I was shocked that my friends were making huge money where I told them this coin is shit! After two days, the price comes at normal price, almost 94% down! But yet my friends made a really very good profit. Maybe this is the reason people hold and some people buy the shitcoins.

Same thing happened to a friend. He got 600MDAB, he sold half and kept half. Probably waiting for one dollar. I got quite furious at him with the decision. They he sold immediately. Few hours later the token tanked real hard. I understand he's a newbie and don't really blame him, else he would not really be considering keeping an air dropped token that has done over 12000 percent.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: October 21, 2019, 11:41:27 PM
Yes, on bitrexchange.com they have quite low price on GRAM now. I would recommend this site.

Wow. I have been aways for some days now and I didn't know that Gram is already trading on Bittrex, I have always wanted to buy from Exmarkets. Anyway, I also learnt that Bittrex will cease operation in 30 countries, so kindly do well to read more from Bittrex and take better desicions under your advicement
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 21, 2019, 11:38:35 PM

ICO is just one way of collecting funds from investors, its like IPO when it comes to the Stock Market. The only reason why ICO is now illegal is due to SEC now regulating this market but before it, ICO was good.

Its not the way of collecting funds that we should be boycotting, it should be the team that isn't doing the honest work. There are way to identify them and scam accusation will stop them from doing it over and over.

Openly campaigning for ICO boycott may not work because this is a decentralized market and every trader has his or her investment plan. Boycotting ICOs will only come as a resultant of the negative effects of the campaign on investors pockets but that doesn't mean that all investors are loosing. Some are still making money from ICOs and are hoping it continues. That's the beauty of the market anyway
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: October 21, 2019, 11:31:44 PM
The image the cryptocurrency market portrays is not really friendly. I have read several derogatory and unpleasant remarks on the media over crypto and truly with the uncontrolled seasonal hacks and scams, the people who are not knowledgeable of the industry have a right to panic. Crypto stakeholders have alot of education to do rather than chasing profits on Binance and Okex
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With this possibly upcoming crisis in mind... on: October 21, 2019, 11:27:26 PM
I believe that stable coins are needed only for traders in order to always have a safety pillow for the ability to place an order at lower levels. but stable coins as a means of payment are not needed to the cryptocurrency industry

Yes. It cushions the volatility of trade and can be used to store value but the proliferation of stable coins is what scares me the most. The last time I counted, they numbered to over 23. All serving the crypto market which has not done alot of increas in the last couple of months
