This is the weekly status update from dev team, on our work for the phase-2, aka the decentralized p2p anonymous system (trustless system).

The implementation is going on fine, we've been making progresses each day. The system is very complex, there are 20-25 steps in the main scenario involving several multisig addresses and multisig transactions. The process is complex not only for the main scenario, but also in that there are many possible error conditions and "unexpected" situations that need to be handled correctly for each case, so the system will behave robustly in the real multi-threaded environment. This involves transaction creation, sign at different locations by different parties, transaction commit and reversal (in case of error conditions etc).

Many people asked for timeline for the phase-2 implementation, although in such complex software it is not easy to precisely provide the timeline, I will give an estimate based on the current progression. It is to note that unexpected things do happen, so please treat this estimate as an estimate, though I will tell you that I am pretty confident at my estimate, as I am the one who is doing the implementation, so I know this in every details and inside-out. My estimate is that the fully decentralized p2p anonymous system will probably be in test phase in about 3 weeks from now, plus or minus a week. Remember that the test phase means that all the implementations will basically be complete, and it will be running end-to-end. This of course means that there are still bugs to fix, and it is not releasable at that time. Usually it can be released after 1-2 weeks of testing. Also, after initial testing by the dev team, we will involve a few community members in the testing, so you can experience for yourself how the decentralized p2p anonymous system works and make suggestions to the features and usage from user's perspective. Again, SuperCoin and MammothCoin are great coins, the team knows clearly what they are doing. They do not hype the coins and give community un-realistic dreams, but they work hard to get the best done for the coin, and make the coin the most advanced one in all the alt coins. Please compare the feature set of Supercoin with some other high flyer coins, and see by yourself the features provided. Many of these high flyers are there not because of the advanced tech, but because they created unrealistic dreams and hypes among people. The unrealistic dreams and hypes will come to an end at some point. The Supercoin is real, it has concrete plans from the beginning, and the dev team did not miss any promises. This team has great track record, it delivers what it promises.

Exactly what annoys me at this point, how can they say what community has to do when in fact nobody has any clue what dev's are doing.

Don't think it's a scam, its just not going that smooth

You're forgetting a coin needs short term investors to survive on the long term. Yes this coin is appealing long term, but for short term not at all.

I've pitched ideas, but the dev doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Maybe he does but he doesn't say anything worth mentioning at all. On top of that nobody has any clue what he's actually doing at this point

I partially agree, roadmap could give estimates or at least what hes planning on doing first, a general order of things. It gives people an idea what is going on in a glance. I agree you shouldnt be too specific with dates and times cos thats impossible, however it is possible to show a general planning. Or split it up in a checklist en check everything thats done, so people atleast have a general idea.

And as being a daytrader for a living I disagree with the fact there's nothing here for investors. To be succesful in daytrading you need to learn to be ahead of the curve, in short basically invest before the development hits. Recognize potential and if the company or in this case the dev has his basics in order to make this potential come true. I do believe he has, but I think there are ways to make it easier or more believable for people that he has.

On other hand I get the feeling most people in crypto stuff don't really know how actual stock and forex markets work, so maybe my comparison is wrong.

Btw thw OP could use an update too + a roadmap with dates and times would attract more people and potential investors

Mammothcoin had 2 months of PoW which just ended. Anonymous wallet, working on phase 2 which makes everything anonymous. Never had any problems. Great coin

PoW has officially stopped btw.

Compared to other similar coins this has been a really great coin. They implemented what they said they would implement and haven't seen any problems with wallets and stuff like that at all.

In my opinion this is a really cheap undervalued coin.

Maximum pow block is 180000, think people were calculaying the blockreward halvings a bit too enthusiastically.
At this specific time there are about 1700 blocks left, so about 8 hours I'd say.

2500 blocks left, PoW will end a lot faster than the 80 hours predicted. PoW will finish before 00.00 tomorrow is my guess

Yea it's not really that big of an issue, people are still buying. Waiting for pow to end phase 2 to start.

well, seems somebody is trying to keep price low. It's more of a scare tactic, cause if he just fills the buy orders it's almost same ammount of btc.

From what i understood from dev it should be ready around time PoW is done. PoW was supposed to last 60 days, so i guess 2 weeks. Not sure though
