281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: February 09, 2024, 06:26:54 PM
One of the most dangerous is Al Hilal's attacking players when they attack very quickly and always hit the target.
The factors that make it very difficult for Al Nassr to beat Al Hilal are that even all the clubs in the Saudi pro league are unable to beat Al Hilal, which currently has very dangerous attacking players and a very strong defensive line.
Al Nassr has Ronaldo but the cooperation of the players is not like Al Hilal and the comparison is quite easy from Al Nassr's very poor defense.
al nassr's defense is very weak, this is the only weakness that al nassr currently has, just look at how al hilal's front line looks when they attack, immediately al nassr's back line looks confused, apart from that al hilal plays a lot of high balls which at the moment is still not yet controlled by the al nassr back line.  al hilal is the strongest team in the SPL at the moment, it is almost impossible to beat them, I applaud how pinheiro succeeded in building this team.

283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever introduced an elder gambler to online betting? on: February 08, 2024, 04:35:58 PM
i never introduce online gambling to elder people because I feel that it would be unethical if I offered something like this even when I know that they are gamblers. Moreover, like your story, it is quite difficult for older people to accept technology and play at online casinos, such as depositing, withdrawing, or choosing the games they want to play, it seems quite difficult for them, so I am reluctant to make their lives even more difficult and I'd better just leave them like that.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 08, 2024, 03:57:39 PM
~snip~

However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.

This might happen, because gamblers, especially those who are addicted to gambling, have difficulty controlling their emotions and this can lead to domestic violence if something triggers their anger. Gambling addicts will usually hit or break something when they are emotional without considering the long-term impact on their family. And usually the victims of domestic violence are children who are still young and don't know anything about the destruction of their families because of gambling.

this is very unfortunate because the impact of domestic violence can be long-term and will cause deep trauma to the people affected by it.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fed holds on rate. on: February 07, 2024, 03:19:54 PM
The markets heated up in anticipation of a rate cut but now the "free money" pipe isn't running (yet).

Big boys know this and haven't poured the coals to ETF's yet, they anticipate better buying opportunities ahead.

I am willing to speculate that we will go mostly sideways until the next fed which will be sorta around the (bullshit) halving time.

Tech companies are having troubles and bitcoin closely mimics them.

Buy Buy Buy in my idiot Cramer voice.

So what does that have to do with Bitcoin? I just don't understand why until now people still associate bitcoin with things like the fed or other American authorities, like they don't have anything else that can be used as a reference for speculating on the price of bitcoin. I understand that the Fed's decision could affect the price of Bitcoin, but is that the reason that Bitcoin depends on the Fed in the future? I feel we need to focus on bigger things, not just speculate on things that are actually not that important.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 07, 2024, 02:35:59 PM
but it might be a little unpleasant for gamblers who usually gamble in physical casinos, because the vibe of online gambling is very lacking since they play alone in their room and they can't feel the real casino atmosphere, but if they are thinking about recovery then online casinos is their best place to gamble.
Online gamblers may play by themselves in their rooms, it's true, but I believe there are a variety of factors that combine to make for an interesting and immersive experience with a distinct ambiance. In my opinion, players can have an immersive gaming experience that closely mimics the atmosphere of a physical casino thanks to the significant advancements made by online gambling platforms in recreating the excitement and ambiance of a real casino through the use of realistic sound effects, high-quality graphics, and interactive features.
~snip~

but it is quite difficult to be able to imitate the vibe of a physical casino, the smell, the noise of people playing, the jokes with the dealer, and various other things. Things like this cannot be imitated by online gambling no matter how sophisticated the gambling platform is. and for this reason it is still difficult for people to move on from physical casinos, even though they are given easy access to online gambling platforms.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: February 07, 2024, 01:51:30 PM
~snip~

there's nothing wrong with sharing our experiences, but it would be better to maintain financial privacy from anyone because money can threaten us from any bad impacts.

sometimes it is much better for gamblers to maintain their privacy by not talking about their winnings to other people because we don't know what other people mean to us and what if it turns into a bad incident that harms us. it's better to keep quiet and keep all the winning money to ourselves because it's much better to keep quiet like that compared to talking about or even flexing it to other people because it's no use either.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: February 06, 2024, 03:49:43 PM
I also asked him if he still bets frequently on sports betting. He said he had bet on sports betting but could not win as big as before, but it was enough to win for him. He bet on a local betting site but he does not tell the site name. If I advise him to place a bet on a crypto sports betting site, I have to teach him about crypto. Until then, I did not recommend any crypto betting site because he was not ready to learn about a new thing. It will be a long road because there will be a lot of questions about crypto. We'll see Grin

sometimes you need to ignore other people and not really care about what they do because if at that time you offer crypto betting to him, maybe you will teach him about crypto, etc., which will take up your time and will make you more trouble. So it's better for you to just chat normally with them and don't need to get too involved in things related to their gambling. but if you don't have a problem with that, then just continue educating him about crypto betting, maybe he'll be interested in that.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand this apparent contradiction between bitcoin and inflation on: February 06, 2024, 02:40:45 PM
you have to understand that the increase or decrease in Bitcoin prices does not depend on inflation, but market demand for it or when there is positive or negative sentiment; these things will affect the price of bitcoin directly. but why do people say that bitcoin is an asset that is resistant to inflation? You can see the history of bitcoin, starting from the year it was first launched until now, the price trend has increased significantly and it has beaten global inflation, which is what makes people say that bitcoin is an asset that is resistant to global inflation.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 05, 2024, 03:11:34 PM
anything related to gambling cannot be said to be an investment because no one can predict how the gambling will end. For example, when someone invests $100 USD of their money in you with the expectation that later they will get a profit if your gambling is profitable. but unfortunately you are losing in a row, which means that apart from losing you need to return the money that people have lent you, and this is quite risky because the possibility that you will go bankrupt is very high. So this idea probably won't work because the risk is quite high and you also can't be sure whether you can keep winning or not.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 05, 2024, 02:15:12 PM
i quite agree that physical casinos are filled with people from various backgrounds and we don't know what diseases they suffer from, especially for people with lung disease, they need a less crowded place and more oxygen so that their disease doesn't get worse and they can get the best treatment if their disease recurs.

but it might be a little unpleasant for gamblers who usually gamble in physical casinos, because the vibe of online gambling is very lacking since they play alone in their room and they can't feel the real casino atmosphere, but if they are thinking about recovery then online casinos is their best place to gamble.

293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investment in gambling on: February 04, 2024, 10:27:05 AM
Investing is different from gambling, because when you invest, you allocate a certain amount of funds to invest in an instrument, whether in the long or short term, and you carry out in-depth analysis of it to get profit opportunities. Meanwhile, gambling is when you risk your money on a game and you only rely on your luck on it to get instant results.

and what you are doing is gambling. You gambled your money on a Ponzi scheme whose future was uncertain, and didn't really expect a return from it, but you were lucky that the money you put there produced a return. I think that you are quite lucky in this regard.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship Between Cryptocurrency and Traditional Banking on: February 04, 2024, 09:52:40 AM
Cryptocurrency does not threaten the existence of banking because after all banking is a necessity for today's society and it is still a choice for people, but it disrupts the transaction system globally. threatening banking and disrupting the system are 2 different things, and Bitcoin stands for disruption.

Bitcoin disrupts the global transaction system and makes it more transparent, decentralized, secure, and has lower fees on transactions between countries, and in this innovation banking happens to still use traditional systems and the technology is already outdated.

and in that case banks may feel threatened because they are afraid that more people will use Bitcoin in their transactions, and now they are starting to change their technology and starting to follow Bitcoin's steps. So in conclusion, Bitcoin actually advances the transaction system in banking and makes it more friendly and faster for its users.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US wants to know bitcoin electricity usage in the country on: February 03, 2024, 05:01:04 PM
i don't know why the government keeps raising news about energy use in the crypto industry, do they think that energy use in the crypto industry is much higher compared to other industries? even though the crypto industry also contributes taxes and pays electricity to the country, why is this industry continuously monitored closely as something disturbing by the government. this is unfair and discriminatory against bitcoin..
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 03, 2024, 04:39:57 PM
The German Bundesliga game between Darmstadt and Bayer Leverkusen Leverkusen is already 74 minutes gone and the visitors are still leading by two goals to nil thanks to Nathan Tella's two goals for the German league leaders. Considering the performance of Bayer Leverkusen in the game, I think they're going to protect their two goal lead till the final whistle or at least concede a goal but whatever happens, I'm very optimistic that Xabi Alonso's men are going to leave Darmstadt this afternoon with all three points from the game.
Leverkusen is playing the game without their top scorer this season Victor Boniface but that isn't stopping them from delivering convincing performance in the game.
it was full time, leverkusen successfully won 2 - 0 against darmstadt, and 2 leverkusen goals were successfully scored by nathan tella in the 33rd and 52nd minutes with this victory meaning leverkusen is still at the top with 52 points.  Another match that matched predictions was Bayern vs Monchengladbach, Bayern managed to score 3 goals while Moncheng only managed to score 1 goal, this defeat made Moncheng closer to the relegation zone.
297  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: Wakanda No More Indonesia Forever! on: February 03, 2024, 04:08:57 PM

298  Other / Off-topic / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: February 03, 2024, 03:42:56 PM
Sometimes gamblers need to take risks to be able to win a gamble, but the most important thing is how gamblers can accept this risk because we don't know what the outcome of our gambling will be, whether it will win or not, and when gamblers have accepted the risk then they can accept whatever the outcome of their gambling.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Another war in the Middle East could be dire for the economy on: February 03, 2024, 08:17:18 AM
For years, the war in the Middle East has continued to rage and there are no signs of peace there, only conditions that are getting hotter between countries, or countries towards separatist groups. The current fact is that the war was deliberately allowed to run the American and European arms industries and several other parties who wanted to profit from this war.

and nothing can be done about this problem, because quite a lot of parties hope that the geo-political conditions in the Middle East are not conducive to increasing their profits. and that includes Bitcoin, it is helpless in the current situation in the Middle East because the use of Bitcoin is limited to digital currency only, it cannot be used as a solution to this problem.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe visiting a seer or spiritual house could make you win a game? on: February 03, 2024, 07:12:42 AM
There are many people in my village who go to places like cemeteries or other sacred places to gain enlightenment on their gambling, and the funny thing is that many of them manage to win, but there are also those who lose. I can't say that supernatural interference didn't play a role in their gambling, but it could also be a coincidence that they won.

i also find it difficult to accept this because it doesn't make sense, but when I see someone winning from this unreasonable thing, I also believe a little.
