283  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: April 23, 2014, 09:50:48 AM

Angels and Demons and Da Vince Code were two other good Tom Hanks movies.

Agree! I also like his classic films: Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Apollo 13. Heard Saving Private Ryan is good, too, but haven't watched that.

Saving Privare Ryan bored me but so do most war films.

287  Other / Off-topic / Re: 4/20 And Easter on the same day??!?!?!?!? on: April 20, 2014, 10:00:55 PM
4/20 Adolf Hitler's birthday. Coincidence? I don't think so.
I did not know that. I think it is a coincidence though how many other people have the same birthday.

Maybe Hitler was the rebirth of Jesus lol jk.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 when? on: April 20, 2014, 08:51:15 PM
The value all depends on demmand so get spreading the word and hope big merchants start accepting it.
289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin safe to use? on: April 20, 2014, 08:26:59 PM
Bitcoin is as safe as you make it safe, that is the beauty of Bitcoin. With fiat you just hope justice will help you if you get hacked, with Bitcoin you might secure it very well

You need to use separate computer never connected with offline wallet. Hopefully hardware wallets will be available soon for no tech users

Very true.
People really need to understand this, and use an offline wallet to store 99% of their bitcoin.

what is offline wallet? how do I get one?

An offline wallet is keeping your coins on either a paper wallet or in a wallet.dat backed up on something like a usb or CDR that's not online so it's safe.

Yeah this, but make sure you make several back ups and or write your private keys down too.

293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin is not p2p on: April 20, 2014, 03:28:21 PM
Bitcoin is literally peer to peer. It's one of its main benefits.
294  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: April 20, 2014, 03:10:22 PM
Coinmarket. Have used BTC-e though and that was good.
295  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Klick and Earn - Free BTC -without captcha - without reload on: April 20, 2014, 02:59:56 PM
From your screenshot: 0,0000000894 BTC

So if I count the decimals correctly, that's 8.94 Satoshis for each click?

I had payments as low as .54 satoshi per click. But you can do this pretty fast and be done for a while.

So how much dud you make from this faucet? I like to see actual figures and payouts not just theories.

Faucets are never worth the effort. There's always easier and more profitable options.

Newbs wont listen though.
296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Price on: April 20, 2014, 02:46:17 PM
Like people have said simple supply and demand and panic sellers/buyers.

regulate the course  - gossips
Huh? I don't get it.

Maybe he means try to regulate the gossip, but only people can do that and stop listening to it or selling because of it.

lol you cant regulate gossip.
297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Klick and Earn - Free BTC -without captcha - without reload on: April 20, 2014, 02:14:06 PM
Another faucet site *sigh* waste of time

All these click to earn sites are but the newbs seem to like them lol.
because they pay no attention to the amounts, in their minds it's just numbers which they feel like are a significant amount and I'm talking with experience  Grin .Just rack up on posts and sign a signature deal

I think they're just desperate to get any ammount of coin in whatever way.
Exactly, and in doing so they ignore other possible means of earning bitcoin and think that only faucets can get them 'good' amounts of bitcoin

Best way is to put in some actual work and offer some services or just sell stuff for bitcoin on a crypto marketplace.
298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will 1 Bitcoin will Reach 1 million usd one day? on: April 20, 2014, 01:42:17 PM
Every country is in debt. It's not Obama's fault and it wont be him that runs the currency in to the ground or any other for that matter.

Nope. Not every country is in debt. Only the welfare states, which encourage bankers and unions are in debt. The others are doing just fine. The best example is China.

Yes. It is Obama's fault. How could you even justify his idiotic policies such as the Obamacare and the stimulus?

So there wasnt massive debt before Obama?
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crossed 500 USD - Bull Market returns ? on: April 20, 2014, 01:25:25 PM
It is really a miracle that Bitcoin has stabilized at the $490-500 levels. After the Mt Gox fiasco, I really expected it to dip below the $100 mark. Think what would happen to any fiat currency, if news comes out that 8% of all the bills in circulation has been robbed. I now feel that the worst is over... but we need some really good news to take BTC over the 1K mark again...
The struggle is in different levels but yeah the worst time is over but no one can tell when btc will reach 1k$ mark again , I'm just hoping that least we will see by the end of 2014 is bitcoin reaching to 1k$ mark.
As soon as Amazon gets their act together we'll be there. Smiley

What do you mean? I think itll be a while if ever before they accept it.

Haha university professors are not smarter than super computers at doing calculastions.
Computers aren't 'smarter' they're just better at doing a repetitive task

They're still able to do bigger and more accurate calculations, but they're not smarter.
