We also need to e-mail the exchanges and get us on their voting lists guys
yeah +1 if no one can trade their CAC to BTC to USD this will be worthless

We all need to do our part to tell 1 other person about this coin and if that happens 1 person tells 1 person who again tells 1 person and in time this coin goes viral and we all profit from being a part of this early. Let's not lie that's why we are all here agreed +1 maybe we should create a bounty for re-tweets and other ways that people can spread the word if there's not already a bounty for re-tweets there should be 1

Did some research and it looks like back in the day California had their own gold coins Maybe the future will be coins again every state used coins back then bro dollars weren't invented yet
If California actually uses this We are gonna be the next Bitcoin lol if that happens we are gonna be millionaires all from being early miners
Is this California dreaming? Half of us are stoned so we don't really know how well this is going to do but I'm going to ride it out
I wonder how many people will claim their coins and use them and not just dump them the first chance they get thats why there will be multiple phases of air drops to help prevent that phase 1 looks like we will get 2,500 coins each according to the thread http://thecaliforniacoin.com/index.php?topic=3.0

Be cool if we got on a exchange like Cryptsy/MintPal sometime soon

Why is it that when I mine Dogecoin with the same settings on cgminer I get 450KH/S on my r9 270x's but on leetpools cgminer reports 300 kh/s with the same exact settings I know that this can vary from pool to pool but would it really vary 150 + - khs Hope some experienced miners can chime in and help me thx long life California coin What version drivers are you running? If you are running the beta's those are super glitchy and have given me problems as well. Get rid of those. I run the 13.1 drivers and get good results with cgminer 3.7.2 running my rig for days no BSOD's or driver crashes

This is actually a good sign in my opinion!
Someone was willing to put that much hashpower on this coin shows faith.
not really anything to do with faith hes just grabbing alt coins and holding onto them, doubt he would come back. est next difficult was 1, got a new block and it ended up being 6 Seems like that guy is still mining but at a low rate net Hashrate
23.12 MH/s What kinda setup does this dude have? Someone please enlightmen me how you get that much
So some guy can just rent out some hashpower for 2 - 4 hours and fuck this up that easily? Wow that is shocking to say the least Hope diff goes down back to 0. So far it's went down to "6"
Net Hashrate is pretty high right now
99.70 MH/s
Maybe we should try to get on 5 - 10 exchanges at once.
That way if one doesn't pick us, maybe the other's will.
Anyone agree? Reply +1
+2 Do we have voting for mintpal yet?

Approaching 4,000 votes We are close we can do this if we keep this rate up! If someone were to invest in the IPO the dev could use that .1 BTC to make us #1
We honestly need a lot more bounties & more give-a-ways to help make this coin successful we got a long way to go but it's looking positive so far if we the community can make this coin better we need to talk about our goals and how to accomplish them a community is what makes a coin successful and we have a small growing one here that is becoming larger every week

Anyone remember this story about the guy that paid for a pizza using BTC and now it's worth $7,000,000 Imagine if that happens to CAC I'd be sitting pretty now lol It's just crazy how this virtual money can turn real at any time and all it needs is a few good people behind the coin and obviously the dev is here supporting the coin making updates to the wallet as needed and if we the people tell our friends & they tell their friends, it will help California Coin achieve the recongition it needs much much quicker. I really hope that guy gets his friend to accept California Coin in that medical marijuana dispensary. That would be a big start for this new coin. I bet that guy feels like an idiot for selling those 10,000 BTC so early ahahhahahahah

Screw that little exchange with no trading volume we need a reputable one +1 Cryptsy guys
Are there any future innovations in store for this coin? While getting on an exchange will be nice, if there is no reason to buy / use this coin for it's intended purpose of being a currency then it will all be pointless in the end.
Who knows it's such a young coin it's yet to get on an exchange and a merchant will surely pick it up soon. Once the California merchants come, it's going to rise up up up. No doubt
We should be on every exchange that there is. And in the mean time maybe we should make our own exchange on like the california coin official forum perhaps? Anyone in?? We can do Doge/CAC BTC/CAC etc etc and have trusted people escrow
Mike I think that would be a wonderful idea I gotta +1 that
So being #1 doesn't really matter guys if 4th gets picked but 5th doesn't lol
It'd be better to get on https://www.cryptsy.com/ they have a lot more trading volume I think #1 out of any site

Ok, I might need a little help or feedback from the California Coin community or the Dev on this one as it could potentially be a big deal for all of us:
I mentioned shortly after launch that I know some people that work at CA marijuana dispensaries here in Los Angeles. I also know the owner of a marijuana edible company that is currently trying to get product in new dispensaries. What I'm trying to negotiate and it seems promising so far is to get them on board with California Coin in this way: Certain of the edible products would be promotional loss leader products as in sold at a loss if the buyer uses California Coin's for the purchase. I think this could be huge because it would give the coin real world value and raise awareness in that people that like edible would want to learn about California Coin to save on their purchases. Also, something like this would almost definitely get California Coin some media attention which would only help our cause to become more mainstream. The dispensaries would accept and hold California Coin as an investment asset until they want to trade it for BTC then fiat. I think once a couple of dispensaries do it and it becomes a "thing" more dispensaries would start accepting it hopefully creating a domino effect. Also California and marijuana share a long and well publicized relationship ie. Emerald Triangle, Humboldt, etc... so this could be an appropriate first step.
I think I can make this work but am asking for feedback in regards to how many coins would be enough incentive for the involved parties to take the risk. I've already voted as many times as possible to get us on an exchange and have sent .045 BTC to swisscex to help make this happen. I am dedicated to this coin and making it a success in what ever way I can.
PM me or reply in this thread
One merchant is all we need to create that domino affect man do what ever you can in your powers to make sure your buddies companies get on board with this coin. Just remind them about how high the gains were with BTC and anyone would get interested in holding onto a coin once it's so early the value only has one way to go and that's up. Keep us posted man the community needs this! This is the first step in a long successful journey. The good news on this project of mine is that the vendor of the edibles is totally onboard but as it's a medicinal marijuana product it needs to be sold out of a dispensary. So getting the actual merchant on board is the part I'm negotiating. I feel like it's more than half way there. I've suggested the vendor sell his product on consignment to minimize risk to the dispensary. I'll keep you all updated. It's in the works and brewing every day. I'm on it. You rock man this is going to be an easy negotiation IMHO just tells them all the positive's & about the bounty that they can receive that should do the trick
