281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: October 02, 2014, 07:37:12 PM
Has seemed to me this whole project has been a joke since it was first announced!

Sorry for those that lost out!!

I wonder how much of the premine has been sold.  They posted an address knowing the block explorer wasn't working.

If you have a wallet then you have a console to get the balance of that address.  But then again, not much point in all that now.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 24, 2014, 04:49:23 AM
My wallet is still stuck on block 11891 not syncing.

Why don't you turn your 100M/H on it?  It's a block that is at diff 2.45M, then back it off to a lower diff.

Doesn't really matter anymore now though, the coin is dead, the whales killed it.

On the plus side the whales didn't manage to kill WACS just yet and is still trading on Comkort, not sure which but they are apparently redeemable at a hotel they contracted with.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 23, 2014, 08:48:52 PM
Has there not been a block found for 5 days.  Wallet stops syncing there

I would rather suggest you to stop commenting on this thread so that this thread gets buried in the number of threads slowly. The admin hasn't been online since 5 days and looks like he wont be coming again. So, its better to stop commenting on this thread.

So what was it?  Was it the promise this coin would be backed by something of actual physical value?  I suppose there is only so much good BTC can do before other ideas that it generated threaten exchange rates between BTC and another fiat paper currency huh?

When the banks crash again, and they will being ruled by greed and run by the greedy, and threatened only with a short term in a federal pen with a swimming pool if they get caught.  I think I'm all for the idea of trading bullets...  With said bankers...

Or did you just leave the diff at 2.45M because you know there is not much in the way of hashing power out there for the little guys because you have a difference with these folks?

284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 23, 2014, 07:25:28 AM
Maybe no DEV for 5 days, but we still have a community of users here.

True, but it wouldn't be the first coin involved in a community takeover.  Problem is that the initial promise is what kept it going, it was the aspect of being backed by something other than hot air.

Now...

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Sept 26th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.1 BTC    -Bittrex.com

They were "Happy to announce something" before the pool went down but nothing ever came up.  Maybe the whole thing was just "elaborate..."?  Maybe I called it a while back.

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 21, 2014, 07:04:11 AM
Still hanging in there ha madmartyk:-)

Me thinks that the whales keep leaving the difficulty high to try and squeeze and manipulate the market.  Suppose that they believe it is their right to screw anyone, in their position they feel it is their right with big hash power to do so...

So the paper peddling banks can't be trusted, now digital currency doesn't really have an option to even the odds though it does quash counterfeit money.  Maybe we should just trade fucking bullets, make for an interesting day at the exchange huh...?   But at least it would be a currency that is actually backed by something of physical value and also accommodates the aspect of power in currency.  Beyond that this would include the average Joe to be a competitor to what actually runs all these countries, the respective defense industrial complex, 'unavoidable' circumstances and competitors in perpetual war pretty much makes that aspect obvious.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: September 10, 2014, 03:58:10 AM
Not sure why people feel block rewards are too high- 128SYS per block is quite low and that is the "highest" reward. Yes, there are regenerated service fees as well but these aren't new coins.

While features of the coin are cool and may yield strength, the basic laws of supply and demand dictate value at the exchange, a surplus will yield a lower price where as shortage will yield the opposite.

According to http://coinmarketcap.com/
Marketcap-wise, SYS around the time of the ICO was valued around or above the current market caps of Storj, Boolberry, NEM, Shadowcoin, Stealthcoin and Crypti - most of these coins have teams with long-running, well-recieved and/or well-established street cred, prototypes, coin launches and/or interfaces. Post-launch, SYS is now valued at the levels of dying or defunct coins like Ixcoin, Anoncoin and Unobtanium and above the level of new upstarts like SocialXbot and Neos. If the market's wrong in its re-valuation of SYS, it's simply a buying opportunity. If it's right, the decline is a correction from previous overvaluation.

You are exactly right, but the problem is that the basic laws of supply and demand have revalued the coin through human nature and  oversight of it's designers.  Good tech staff is a must-they got it, rapid response to failure is just as much so, but the basic plan has to sustain the market.  Clearly that hasn't happened here as the value of it has done nothing but fallen.  To put out a currency requires eyes wide open and capable of seeing around corners.  That is not something we have today and exactly the reasoning we have not built anything that can stand the test of time since the Mason's were outed by the mob a 100 years ago.  Do the math, there were some things that were far more solid long ago before power transitioned, just the way it is with what was lost.  Maybe a payout to the mob or the catholic church will help.

+1 for site and roadmap

i think sys site is best in cryptoworld

Unfortunately, the value of the coin keeps saying otherwise.  Dumpers are killing it because the block rewards are too big.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 08, 2014, 02:13:57 AM
It's hopeless... every time I restart the wallet it will no longer sync. I have to delete the entire blockchain and rebuild it in order for the wallet to sync. Too bad... I like this coin, but my patience has ended
Does anyone know how to sync wallet...... i tryed nodes in config file but no luck

After a fork that is always a problem with any coin if there is no new wallet released that will discriminate against older clients and the wrong fork. Your client just went the wrong way because others didn't delete their database and download it again, or they did and got the wrong fork.  That will happen as long as people out there with a running client are on the wrong fork of the database.

The interesting part of this is the fork was reported previously in the thread.  I downloaded the database to get synced up and found that since then the block explorer has been taken offline, the pool that was previously used is gone and back now at 10880, the current block on the newly listed pool is 10880, my client is at 11121 with fresh database.  So there's still a fork ongoing, but probably due to folks not deleting and pulling down database again and they are serving up old fork to other users.  Just downloaded database again and at 11164.   Both pools are at 10880.

My client is now at 11461, the old pool is at 10880 and the new pool is at 11461.

Beyond the aspect of there not being an updated wallet to deal with the fork, there appears to be an bug in the KGW implementation.

If one looks at the supplied documentation then;

Diff         Reward           Hash (Kh/s)   Wacg per day
1         0.01                   600                   0.120699406
10         0.058780161   600                   0.070947305
100         0.345510729   600                   0.041702940
1000        2.030917621   600                   0.024513055
10000     11.93776642   600                   0.014408813
15000     16.30714345   600                   0.013121750
20000     20.34626104   600                   0.012278908
25000     24.15632010   600                   0.011662614

There's a little confusion on this part but the current pool reported diff of 2.73 on a block that was reported by sgminer at a diff of 271k.  Hashing at 500-600kH/s with 2xR9-280X solved the block in 23HRS with a reward of 0.02177724 WACG.  This would indicate a diff somewhere between 1000/10000 as per the chart or between 1/10?  </shrugs>  On a block with a diff of 271k reported by sgminer where should the reward be?  On a block with over 1M diff where should it be?  How can you have a block reward of 24.1 WACG and figured WACG per day of .01?  </shrugs>  </again>  Top that off with the next block diff determined by KGW is 180K, and I'm the only one that is reported by the pool to be hashing away at this?   I'm just not seeing the logic pan out here.  Wallet code needs some attention.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 07, 2014, 06:37:21 AM
One friggin beef posted on the thread and the value tanks on the only exchange.  I was asked not to dump this and I said I wouldn't unless it was forced.  But dudes, dudet's, policy needs to be rethought here.  I'm not going to just sit here and take a value based hit over an "accounting issue" over a coin we know there is a huge premine on.  Men figure out the greater good, and roll with it.  Shit or get off the pot...  Pie in face over 20 or 30 WACG for the community?  Shit ain't right man.  Policy rethink in order...

291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: September 06, 2014, 08:15:46 AM
Might actually be believable but I've watched a miner being underreported by 50% for the last hour.  No change in algo can justify that.  Certainly makes one question unseen trading practice policy...  Bye...
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [WACG] WACCOIN GOLD **POOL WORKING** on: September 04, 2014, 11:45:37 PM
I was going to fire up some miners, but at this difficulty it's not worth it.
if the diff grows the reward grows as well, it will always worth, but you can choose as you wish, its your equipment.

So are you folks planning on getting on more exchanges?

HELLO PEOPLE! I AM SORRY I DIDN'T ENTER BEFORE, i am on a bussiness trip to close some big deals for waccoin, unfortunatelly when i tried to put a farm with whom we closed deales for mining the coin in big scale the pool collapsed and the blockchain took wrong blocks, i am working on it very hard, i hope i will manage it between today and tomorrow. Dont panic, the coins will be good and the blockchain doesnt need to be restarted, its just a conflict with the pool, now i am working on making our own pool and repairing the blockchain

Yes, so the uber MH that was thrown at the pool and caused the daemon to bomb out and not update the nodes.  Congrats, you have a fork, and the longer it runs the more work you have ahead of you.  Funny thing about forks, there can't be any or coins are invalidated on one side or the other and need to be replaced.

Good show!  Bittrex trading WACG!

What is going on with the WAC Silver coin?  I have noticed that it was pulled off of AllCrypt now.  Is this coin going to be re-launched or are you trading out for WACG as noted in an earlier post?
wac silver can be traded for wacgold, we take responsability for our coins, but it also will be relaunched, as for now we are just finishing to resolve some troubles with wac gold and finishing some bussiness but we will take care of wac silver sonn enough

I suppose the next q would be what is the rate of exchange from WACS to WACG?

Watching the market I think there's market manipulation on both parts in this, folks sell short to themselves because they want to buy at a low price because it is so tough to mine this.  Then there is an instance where it is sold at a higher price but it is short lived.  Me thinks a currency backed by something more than hot air is a pipe dream.

A lot of times that happens when no blocks have been found.  That means no one is mining this coin.

Yes, no one for two hours has been mining it, because everyone jumped to the Syscoin launch.

Not sure how that one will pan out, the IPO was setup for 512 sats, and it has been hanging around 400 for a few days now.  They spoke of increasing block rewards and I think that might just have the opposite effect for the SYS/BTC value as they are not short on hashing power.  The coin has a lot of steam built on an interesting idea, lets hope it doesn't turn out to be just hot air.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 23, 2014, 07:16:26 PM
It upsets me Moolah is holding the funds like a hostage. You give a little but get nothing back. Damn terrorists.

They were very quick to withhold funds when things didnt go to plan, so should be equally as responsive at providing the funds when applicable - IE now.

As far as i can see the team seem ontop of their game, are continually trying to juggle the dev work/bug fixing, keep us updated and pay for external resources building whilst being stifled by Moolah who appears to be treating them like a naughty child who doesnt deserve their pocket money.

Better watch out - they'll have you washing their pots and polishing their shoes next.

Moolah needs to step up fast at this stage.

We are frustrated and concerned as well. We are trying to be patient but watching the price slide as we wait for funding is certainly tough on the entire team/families (and the community as well I'm sure). We're still working hard on the core code and improvements but have so much waiting to go pending paying people, and so many devs who have jumped on to help us that deserve payment we cannot yet provide. We aren't trying to dump SYS to get the BTC we need to pay these people, we already have it sitting in that fund.

I know I am buying up all I can right now with the price being so low. I have been lurking and following this thread and I really believe in this coin!  Wink

Whatever man, but me thinks Robinhood already beat everyone to the punch here.  If the consensus was that this is a great coin than there would be more buying power than selling in which case the price would be going up.  Sorry for pissing in your Cheerios dude, but it is what it is.

Volume is 35btc with another 6btc falling off the 24 hour rolling period shortly.

Roughly 7btc in sell orders under 465 early presale price.

Hardly enough to be concerned about when SYS hasn't even shown us things they and others have been working on.

Other coins are doing much worse. Of course this presale was bigger so bigger expectations and once SYS gets paid we'll see some things.

Just gotta sit back and wait. Don't be so quick to write this coin off.

Human nature isn't so hard to predict, unfortunately greed can always be counted upon.  I'm sure the paywalls will bring it up, but what happens when they go down?  By then there will be a new coin that's "all the buzz".  Robinhood was never meant for Wall St.

Something tells me this one is DEAD!!

Is dead when the community turns their back, but ya gotta look at the big picture here.
