281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin slowly dying out? on: November 02, 2014, 04:44:27 AM
I'll only be worried when Bitcoin hits $1.

If Bitcoin reaches $1, it will also be the end of Bitcoin. It will only reach such low levels if it fails. I guess $260 is the bottom after which it has to bounce back and when it does there's no stopping it

283  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ebola virus is a hoax on: October 31, 2014, 11:07:01 PM
Agree with OP, I think Ebola is just a hoax, disease is real but has not been released in US. The cases in Africa are lies, actually it caused by chemical weapons. If a disease like Ebola were on the loose, the ports including air ports would be closed world wide.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: October 31, 2014, 11:00:48 PM
which is the best site for trade str  without need id verification for wd/dp
I'm using https://poloniex.com without any issues  Wink

Polo is doing good but their STR trading volume is quite low, so I'd recommend https://bx.in.th/BTC/STR/ if you're looking for a bigger one, I think it's the second largest STR trading site after justcoin. I've been using them since august and never had any problems.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: October 31, 2014, 10:52:08 PM
Rest in peace baby.

LTC needs to fall low enough for long enough that nearly everyone thinks it is dead, to oppose the sentiment extreme from last bubble, then when nobody is looking, it will rise again.... I see a bright future in litecoin
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: don't panic, btc is doing well ! on: October 31, 2014, 10:43:44 PM
If BTC is doing well, why would anyone panic Huh

Well, BTC is like a great ship, there's nothing wrong with the ship but passengers screaming and running off the ship. You stop and ask the passengers why, they answer "I dunno, cuz everyone else is."
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 31, 2014, 10:37:58 PM
It's gonna bounce extremely hard when we find our low, till then expect crashes to continue. A week or little more if it continues like this btc will be below 200. I guess the first miners are switching off now.
288  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 29, 2014, 11:02:50 AM
The day I flag that the Coinpiler campaign doesn't seem to be active, this happens.  Grin

Coinpiler Signature Campaign is back...

First Come First Serve... Total 150 Slots is available.... Lets have fun....

The opening post in the Coinpiler signature campaign thread has been edited too.
Updated information

CoinPiler (Thread)
Payment period: Monthly
Minimum posts: 40 constructive posts
Payments: S& Above - 0.1 BTC; F - 0.05 BTC; M - 0.03 BTC; J - 0.01 BTC
Miscellaneous: No escrow

Joined coinpiler https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=746016.0 no escrow but he builded trust through his last campaign; there are many spots available 50+3*100=350 slots; it would probably the biggest campaign on bitcointalk if all slots get filled

with many person who enroll this campaign i think escrow will needed here

for 350 spots, payouts will be comparable to Stunna's biggest payout from all time(around 30 BTC)

They can be overrun and maybe don't have money to pay everyone.

Don't know how solvent they are

Assuming that all slots are taken, they will have to pay BTC14 to all participants by the end of sig campaign period

Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they are a jealous bunch, most of them are butt hurt because they missed the boat and don't have enough money to buy lots of BTC. So they dream about $1 Bitcoin and how they'll buy thousands if that happens.

291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: There is an epic blockchain.info theft method out there on: October 26, 2014, 11:26:02 PM
I am repeating myself...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=825058.0

It's caused by POODLE vulnerability in TSL/SSL, if you use TOR to access internet then someone might have stolen and read your traffic (read above thread by theymos)

293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Vs. Paypal on: October 26, 2014, 12:21:46 AM
I have both paypal and BTC and use them frequently. Paypal transactions are faster because bitcoin transactions need times to confirm, for most of the points you don't need bitcoin anyway. Maybe having financial resources could be a valid reason. But not if bitcoin fluctuates wildly.

294  Other / Archival / Re: remove on: October 25, 2014, 11:39:12 PM
Bitcoin is a Ponzi Scheme that only pays the people that got in early! Nowadays anyone can just go on the blockchain, press a button and create their own bitcoin
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prices prediction on: October 25, 2014, 11:30:53 PM
You can only guess future price, most likely it will rise, but for how much and when  ? Who knows.

Good point. If you trade long enough, you will realize that bitcoin is irrationally predictable and it will work in your favor if you play it right.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price prediction, will it hit >$1k in less than half a year? on: October 25, 2014, 11:20:49 PM
If people hold to their bitcoins, the price will go up. I see alot of people selling their bitcoins now, maybe they are being afraid of a decline. Well only the time will tell.

Yeah... there are 4 type of guys who keep selling btc. 1-miners, 2-day traders, 3-merchants like overstock, 4-hackers who try to steal coins from investors' computer. Consequently dump is inevitable.
