I dont know where would be a better place to put this... but there are 112 miners mining at 2.3572 GHash/s
They are mining the wrong side of a fork.
I found out because I was looking at another issue, but so many people still mining it I thought to try to let people know here.
I dont know when the fork happened, but I do know the admin of coinmine.pw is on vacation and wont know about it till they get back...

OP,
Several people have asked now what all the premine was for, and you have ignored each and every one of them while still talking about your coin. Please address this question.
What was all the pre-mining for?

Correction... I can mine with my antminers locally. I am testing with bigbullion now and its up and running stable for 10 min. Now to do the same with scrypt

I am looking for some help solo mining. I have thus far been unable to get it working with any coin / wallet.
I am running windows 7 with 4 Gigs of ram on a dual core pc.
I start the sexcoin-qt wallet with the -server switch. the wallet updates, and is synced correctly.
If I run a port scanner, it tells me 9560 and 9561 are both open. If i go in my web browser to my ip address (192.168.1.11) :9561 I get a message that the webpage is not available
If I put in 127.0.0.1:9561 it asks for a username and password. If I put in the matching information I have in my sexcoin.conf file, and it gives me the following output:
{"result":null,"error":{"code":-32700,"message":"Parse error"},"id":null}
So I point my miner to 127.0.0.1:9561 (any miner... I have tried cgminer BFminer, and multiminer) with the correct username / password combo from my config file and it tells me there is no pool at that address.
If I start mining at another pool, the miners start fine... and will mine for days. While I am connected to that other pool (whatever it is) in cgminer or BFminer, I hit P for pool management, then a for add pool. Type in 127.0.0.1:9561 and then the correct usernam and password where prompted, it will connect to my local pool.
While mining like this I found a sexcoin block once (it was orphaned) but it showed it was working for a little while... but my hashrate decreases over a short amount of time.
Within 10 min or so the pool is listed as dead and mining returns to the other pool.
I have tried shutting off antvirus and firewall, different wallets (different coins) forwarding ports on my router to this machine. Setting this machine up in the DMZ... all the different miners I can use... all the same problem.
My hardware is 2 gawminer furys (so I am not expecting too much) but I was also having no luck running a wallet for sha256 to point my antminer S1s
Any assistance you can offer would be great as I am pulling my hair out...

Whats the best I can find for about $120 for scrypt mining?

So because I like to play with various things, I decided to try to solo mine sexcoin.
I am having a few issues with it, so I thought to ask a few questions to see what info I can get.
I cannot start cgminer pointing to my sexcoin client directly. The wallet is running as a server, and the correct port is open. When I try this cgminer reports there is no active pool and stops. If I start mining another pool, add the sexcoin local server as a secondary pool, then delete the pool I started with, it works fine for a while... After a time (it varies greatly) cgminer reports the pool as sick / dead and just sits there.
I did manage to find a block (it was orphaned) at least once, so it was sorta working...
I have 2 gaw furys mining for me, and I am running cgminer 3.1.1 as its the only one that I found so far that will work at all without giving me errors about extra command line options.
The command line I am using is: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://ispace.co.uk:4453 -u username -p x --chips-count 6 --ltc-clk 300 -S //./COM4 -S //./COM5 --nocheck-golden
This gets it started and then when its running I can add my local pool.
Any thougths?

ok nevermind... its now connected and mining... I dont know why... I dont know how... but ill take it...
Thanks for the help !!!

yes, the s1 still reports it as dead...

a few S1s. I have the port open now, but I cant seem to connect to it... still chugging away at it..

I am trying to connect other miners... but I am not getting that far. Seems like the software will load but never open the port to connect to I also changed the rpcconnect to *

So I was looking to set up my wankcoin wallet to mine solo. I am running the command line with the -server option, and dont get any errors
I set up the config file:
listen=1 addnode=node1.wankcoin.com addnode=node2.wankcoin.com rpcuser=user rpcpassword=password
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 rpcport=9336 daemon=1 server=1
but it never lets me connect to it. If I look in the debug window I see this:
AddPortMapping(9336, 9336, 192.168.1.11) failed with code 402 (Invalid Args)
I have tried the same setup with a few different coin wallets, and cant get any of them working..I dont see that any ports open on the computer and my miner wont connect to anything
I am using windows 7 64 bit and would really like to know what I am screwing up here...

I know I am a bit late to this party, but I wanted to toss my 2 cents in...
I have 5 antminer U2's all plugged in to a usb hub, and all my usb extension wires spliced in to a computer power supply. They will not work without a flash drive being plugged in as well. I cant quite work out why, but if you plug it in to a hub, try adding another usb device...
|
|
|
If you replace the Flash drive with a USB powered fan will they work again. This would show that a hub port either needs to be grounded or that it at least needs a 5 volt load to function. You have completely removed both the 5v+ and 5v- leads from the hub to your devices and the hubs IC may think there is nothing plugged in to it and is in standby mode.
The 5 volt is disconnected from the port with the flash drive on it as well. Ill look in to standby mode as well... but when you first power it up, it wont see them either. <sigh> Thanks for the replys however... annoying... my wife was like "just leave the flash drive plugged in"... I can't, knowing it isnt working the way I want irritates me :-)

I have set up a series of usb extension cables to draw power from a computer power supply. I wanted to overclock the antminer u2's I have and I didnt have a hub that would power them. When I hook it all up, the red lights come on to show they are getting power. That's good.
The computer will not see them at all. Now for the odd part...
The computer will see a usb flash drive when plugged in, and I can access it just fine.
When I plug in the flash drive, all the antminers show up on the computer. I swapped out for the correct drivers, and am running them with external cooling at --anu-freq 300 and they are all mining just fine. Some HW errors... but not too bad.
If I remove the flash drive, all the antminers will show up as ZOMBIE and will stop working.
so they will run for days when the flash drive is plugged in, but not without it...
I am a running a windows 7 laptop to run the antminers... running cgminer 4.3.5. All the antminers are plugged in to a 10 port usb hub as I said before. They are running on external power from a 350 watt power supply. The are being cooled by a few fans, and while running are slightly warm to the touch.
Anyone with any thoughts on this? Its making me crazy as I would like to get 5 more antminers to fill the hub, but can only use 4 if I have to have a drive plugged in all the time.
Thanks

Ok... rebooted and nothing. So, I decide to unplug one antminer, and plug in my flash drive. Whe the flash drive is plugged in, the devices are all seen. Hmmm... ok so install all the right drivers for cgminer to work with and ... working great.
At any point if I unplug my flash drive, everything stops. at this moment, I am running great. I dont know why, but I guess sometimes that whole gift horse thing... right?
Seriously I would love anyones thoughts on why I would need to plug in the flash drive... But I want to thank you for you help either way.

Just one 12 volt fan to cool them.

Ok, the miners all work when plugged in to the hub... or in to the computer itself. I checked the usb cord, and there is 5.02 volts getting to the plug in end of the extension, and none back feeding in to the hub itself. I then pulled it apart and tested all the wires are connecting for data on both ends. I am stumped.

|
I tried it both with a hub and without. Both get me my flash drive working, the light red light on the antminer comes on but no new device is showing up in device manager.
