281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Have Different Perception Of Gambling Operators on: February 25, 2024, 09:38:13 PM
That's exactly how wonderful people can possibly be sometimes... There's no difference between the lottery and the cock-pit fight: Call it what you want, it has the same risk involved... The funny part is that these people know too well the risk involved and they go ahead with it.

from my own perspective, I'd term lottery to be more riskier than any other virtual gamings for obvious reasons.... Hitting the jackpot out of a blue isn't guaranteed... secondly, cock fighting requires a little amount of stakes at a time compared to lottery.

Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress?
I see this to be the highest form of discipline: if a gambler tends to become professional, he needs to acquire the skills in making records of whatever ticket he wagers.

otherwise if you don't wanna follow that due process, how do you run your checks and balances? How do you know if you're winning or losing even during each big wins?.. The professionalism in there isn't about staking so many tickets to see if it cuts - it's about knowing how much you've wagered already in the past - That'd prove to you if you're winning or losing..

I had a friend who use to play the gambling only when he consumed drugs,Sometimes he use yo win the money. But most of the time he loss the funds, when we have a chat on the weekend we shared our experiences.
it's not very nice to play on games/gamble when you're on an influence - which might be yet another addiction - maybe on drugs, meth, drinks whatever..... AFAIK, making some predictions on an influence of something would only do much harm than good..

Maybe your friend's addiction to drugs only makes him wanna gamble?? It looks to me like he's not doing these things in his normal sense...so if he's able to stop drugging himself, he's gonna get over it.

Personally, I am new to gambling and I do not know much about games, and I prefer gambling on football matches with small amounts of money.
That's exactly the situation with most people that prefer wagering on soccer based casinos/odds.. I tend to realize how much of my interest has grown in sport betting and how easy it has been to understand the relationships between the odds and so on.

I worked for a casino that organises sport betting and that ofcourse has given me the liverage to learn quick.... It's more about the luck aspect but you still gotta know how to make your predictions.

285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 24, 2024, 09:55:53 PM
Mega threads kept open for long time, in this gambling discussion and the main gambling section I do see a thread that from the first to ten pages all the discussion answers has been given but that thread continues moving whereas all the questions been asked in the thread majority has answered it, why mega thread in gambling section, when you calm down and read some of the trading style or method you can see that some points made us is not longer in line with the aim of the thread.
This is exactly what a user was tryna sight on meta and I said alot about it already... The incessant spamming, bursting and derailment of threads (especially mega threads) is becoming very rampant and the insane part is how fast it's growing on other vital threads, around the forum...

I'd say - the people in question (including every other regular alt farmers) have majorly been spamming shit on this board and it's appalling!! But them threads need to stay open cus someone might decide to make any vital update, upgrade or reference to it.

286  Other / Meta / Re: There should be a keyword report and keyword ban option to reduce spam on: February 24, 2024, 09:48:22 PM
The point is, how many topics/threads is one going to report by opening them one by one? Can't there be a way to report keywords to mods or admins that would serve as a suggestion for them to ban a certain keyword to avoid temporary spam such as the one I have mentioned above?
it's definitely very different and I understand your plea but enhhh-  is it enough to convince Theymos on creating something like this? He's got so many pending requests and my deep fear isn't even about him responding on time to insurgencies like this; now my big fear is about how he'll handle this minute issue should it begin to strike even bigger...
I don’t understand what you mean by a keyword ban like a ban placed on a particular word for some minutes before they are released?
That's exactly what it is... It could be initialized - in that should any of those spammy/ abusive words be mentioned - it won't even be posted... It'll reject automatically.. what happens when you try to post nudes on Facebook?
287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anatsa Android malware downloaded 150,000 times via Google Play on: February 23, 2024, 09:58:13 PM
It's very appalling that android users don't know most of this viral malwares and it's right beneath Their nose...

I'm not gonna put too much blame on them as they wouldn't indulge in downloading them apps in the first place, should they know what it is - but GOOGLE play store?? What's their fuckin problem?... Yeah, they've added a tap-in button that can flag some apps as inappropriate - but what if this happened already without their notice? 150,000 times? ain't no way!! This people must solely be after the money they make.

I want to share a story with all of you that happened to me and may be of interest to everyone who uses cryptocurrencies and security technologies. My name is Igor, I am a resident of the city of Slavgorod in the Altai Krai, Russia.
you didn't have to tell us everything about yourself; we're definitely okay with the fact that your OP says - ulitov43... This is exactly the type of mistakes you make with your assets too.. cus why would anyone store their seedphrase on a browser/password manager?

it's unlikely that your actions were inadvertent and it didn't even occur to you until it was stolen... You seee, this is exactly the same thing I keep preaching everyday in here: you can't eat your cake and have it so it must be made clear that your wallet's security lies solely in your own hands.
Sorry for your loss though.

The OP of the 1xbit thread was last online on May 25, 2023.

The last few dozens of pages are literally only about how the casino is a scam, which we all know, and given that the account itself is not even posting any updates about their site, there is no reason to leave this thread open as it is just a noise-generator.
I don't even pay attention to threads like that, let alone reading or engaging in their convo anyways, but I feel the thread should be locked and i support the motion... It's definitely gonna look like we're against them hosting whatever spammy, shit campaign they wish to but I think the forum doesn't even get any better when we've got lots and lots of shit to read through.

secondly, nothing - and I mean nothing has given me the conviction that they'd ever wanna come back; haven't we had enough of their nuisance?? Maybe the time is just right for them to leave permanently?

290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Jon Said Ethereum is More Decentralized Than Bitcoin on: February 22, 2024, 09:58:36 PM
I've always suspected that big players like Bitmain could build a lot of hashrate to increasingly centralize Bitcoin. For the experts in the house, how true is it that Ethereum is more decentralized than Bitcoin?
Bitcoin was solely made to replace the usual currency - FIAT. I'm gonna say, it hasn't fulfilled its purpose entirely but this whole decentralization was put in place through that path; a path that ethereum only improvised on some protocols ... maybe like introducing smart contracts, DEFIs and NFTs... That doesn't make the coin more decentralized than Bitcoin, does it?

if ethereum is so decentralised.. then why is its market rate not independent
just look at the prices of the markets. ethereum follows bitcoin like a shadow 9#% of the time.
exactly! Why hasn't it grown beyond it's 4k limit since 2021? Secondly, what's this DApps liverage that made ethereum to create a version of BTC on Thier network? Read about that a couple of weeks ago and I didn't go into details anyway.

291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5.00 CGPA or 5 BTC? on: February 22, 2024, 09:56:35 PM
For me, education and finance have one common focus. So what if a person owns a large sum without understanding how to increase it? Let these five bitcoins grow in price, but in the future, managing them also requires knowledge. Likewise, a talented person does not always have the opportunity to fully reveal himself since he does not have the funds to develop his business. What is better: intelligence and poverty, or being rich but stupid?
Being educated would be assumed as the highest form of cognitive intensity, yes! - I mean, people are born with a normal perception for reasoning but the big question is - WHY DO WE STILL NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL? Education does nothing rather than pruning a child on how to THINK CRITICALLY.

Like I said in my other post, Bitcoin has been made in its simplest form that unless a person is a dummy, they'll be able to HODL safely... Education revolves around so many abstract stuff that would distract a mind that's not able to multitask.

Off course If some well known person will tell them let's use btc it's good and safe becouse i say so and Im trusted then people Will follow.
The same people who say things about cryptocurrency that it's unknown for them they act like they really know all about the other things what they trust,If you ask from average person can they explain the process of creating money debt and Fiat currency...they don't know.
They don't really care about how much it takes to create/implement any policies... They just feel comfortable with the system they were brought up with

Bitcoin is a different digital currency that bears it's own criterias... I didn't really have much interest innit until when it was introduced to me by a friend - and that happened just before I got registered in here..
When we are born and mature, we naturally conform to the existing fiat system. The only currency system we met with was our native fiat, which backed the government. Fiat has no chance of being demolished. So we can trust our native fiat blindly.
exactly!! It's actually a different case when it comes to digital currencies.... I believe Bitcoin hasn't still gotten the desired validation even after a decade and more.

Alot of threads have been deviated... It looks to me like it's just the usual thing that happens on almost every LB; I'm just wondering how accurate that analysis you made is - 98% of the post is literally crap post that has nothing to do with Bitcoin? That's surprising!

The incessant posting habit is becoming like a wild spread of viral disease, thereby causing a huge degredation in learning and operational skills... I wouldn't wanna look too much into this but I sometimes ask myself questions like - what will the newly registered people learn from? From a pile of crap post that don't even align with the topic? I got registered in here and at the time, I did alot of reading which is very preferential to any new member...

What are you talking about dude??
Acquiring high CGPAs in school doesn't make you better anyways - where you at? Cus your country of resident matters alot too..(y'all be seeing that pretty soon as a waste of time and resources) not because others aren't allocated offices to work in, but because (r)you gotta have someone with GIRAFFE HANDS; learn to accept this bitter truth and swallow this dark, gall pill as early as you can... ain't no body struggling to get a degree for survival except otherwise (r)

meanwhile, you don't need some more years of tutoring and graduation with a high profile to own BTCs - just HODL and learn the process... I'd see acquiring grades in school as a second thought, no matter where I am.

295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 21, 2024, 09:18:07 PM
... It's also worth noting that along the way in 10 years of hodling bitcoin, there's going to be times when you'll be tempted to sell because bitcoin despite it's volatile nature, growth can still be shown in years so you might not even be getting a full profit out of that in 10 years.
The volatility is the game - It's the whole essence of Bitcoin in existence.... If you wanna evade the bearish trend because your coin worth reduces everytime, then you won't stand the fact that inflation hits your country's economy from every single year.

Bitcoin isn't gonna move up the trend - maybe to a hundred thousand just very soon... It'll take years off of this period - especially since there's alot to fix in place. AFAIK, the more it sells off; the more global recognition it gets, the more it tends to increase in price.

As expected, I have received the funds for this campaign and we are back in action!

If you were a part of it, you can add the signature and avatar back and you'll be back in the campaign. I'll change the dates for us due to this small hiccup so from now on we'll run from Sundays > Mondays, payments going on Mondays and as always according to my timezone (CET). If you do not wish to get back in this campaign please let me know so that I can accept new applications.
I'm experiencing a little delay due to caching on switching my avatar... The current avatar is trustdice's - let's hope it switches maybe in an hour time.
Welcome back boss.

Finally some good news for tab users..!!!!. It's so fascinating to know that you're always thinking of better ways to make the forum as easy as possible.. isn't that amazing?? I meannn, C'monnnn -- you tryna copy some BBcodes and you end up copying the whole campaign starting thread - this goes on and on for like 5 fuckin' times or so... That's how annoying it is( I bet you don't have a clue unless you've tried copying these codes on a tab)...
Normally, I don't support just any type of bs - but this one?? THIS IS QUIET GOING TO BE HELPFUL!

Chymist has never been too free for himself, obviously! I'm just wondering how much time it'll take him to copy 'em codes - assuming he uses a smart phone?! Bahahaha!!

Again, is there gonna be like a little glitch or something immediately after hitting the button? - That would atleast safe the user's time to not hitting it twice and thrice, therefore copying too many codes on their clipboard?..
Congratulations mhan!
