So I got the Fusion wallet setup and then I sent in my GEO coin info for a the swap onto the UBIQ network. I held some UBQ on the exchange but this makes me get the wallet setup and starting to use it. Looks like I just might by some more GEO once I see my coins hit my wallet from the manual swap.

Yes the new token is on coinmarketcap, but the listing is still in need of a few touch ups. I'm in contact with some UBQ devs to try and get the Circulating Supply ? sorted out and will then coordinate the info to the CMC team. If I could fix it myself I would have, but need to rely on the teamwork of others to get it fully updated. I'll be sure to let the community all know once the listing has been improved. |

Just an update to keep everyone in the loop. I've sent a series of messages to the CoinMarketCap team to try and get the 2nd Cryptopia market added to the price discovery and also resolve some of the issues with Circulating Supply / Market Cap, our block explorer and removing the link to the source code. I assume they must be quite busy over a CMC support so I will allow for a few more days to pass before I send in an additional ticket. Now that the two markets are back trading once again, I've continued to process individual users manual swap claims. This seems to be an ongoing process where a few legitimate claims roll in and a few other invalid claims occurring from after the snapshot block #1568125. Please note that only those balances that were captured on or before the snapshot block are considered valid on the Ubiq Network. Tobler and I are in the process of implementing the new Ubiq Network wallet for the backend. This process will be very technical and will require some significant development time. We are working with some industry professionals to determine the best setup for GeoCoin moving forward. More updates will follow as the developments progress. Let's keep it GEOing! |

Yes, but it still marked with labels 'Mineable ' and 'Coin', and have not label 'Token'. Also Explorer leads to old blockexplorer. And developers still didn't updated github code. Yes I've been working with the CoinMarketCap devs to try and get all the new information updated on their end. |

I've gathered some information from the Golden Smophy team and we may work together in the future when we are getting closer to our launch. I would like to focus on some of the more technical aspects of the project at this time. hello dev does this mean there will be no marketing effort for months or longer? Is the marketing by golden somphy free? If done sooner rather than later it would attract investors to geo now and get geo known before the later stage of pol is completed project is very under radar and will be big hit once it is marketed there is nothing to lose! that is just my 2 bitcoins   i digress but I worry that investors will exit and lose interest without news and current investors will lose If you are offering to pay 2 bitcoins to golden smophy then we could get it going right away! how much do the marketing team require in order to begin? The POW mining phase for GeoCoin is now over, you can no longer mine GEO using CPUs or GPUs. Any mining pool that offers GEO POW mining is on the original blockchain which is now considered developer abandoned. |

Lots of build up from 1 Saturday away from my computer! Good to see so much interest and excitement here in the GEO community. Here's some updates on the current happenings behind the scene.
I've reached out to CoinMarketCap a few times to try and coordinate the updating of the GeoCoin (GEO) currency listing. I've sent communications with them on Feb 11th, 13th and today, so I assume they must be very busy and will allow them some time to respond to me.
I've also been discussing the delay for the GeoCoin (GEO) market reopening over at Cryptopia. It sounds like the dev that I was in contact with has unfortunately had some unexpected personal issues which has extended the delay. I'm still in communication with their devs and we are collaborating to bring the market back. I have not yet been given a set date or time for the market to reopen, but I'm optimistic that we are getting close.
I'm also discussing some of the wallet options for the GeoCashing backend with the Ubiq developers to see which options they think will be the best for our implementation. Since migrating to the Ubiq Network, I've been learning a lot about the new wallets and how the technology functions. It is very exciting to be part of this growing community and I appreciate all the help and support in the community.

really love this project, was scared when I saw the swapping and such, but yall pulled through.
I made account on your site to actually collect some coins, how come I keep getting a gray screen when I am logged in. I can see the map fine when I am not logged in. But when I am signed in on my new account, it is just blank on the map page.
Really want to go farm some coins.

Hey Stan the ability to collect coins is not open at this time. The previous Google Maps interface which you are seeing will be replaced with our new MapBox interface once we get all the technical back end up and running smoothly. Please wait until that interface is released before trying to collect GEO from the map. |

How to add GEO to the Pyrus wallet? I was trying to do the following: Add Custom Token -> 0x500684CE0D4f04aBeDff3eDff3e54fCF8acCF5acC5E6CFc4bD -> Token Symbol "GEO" -> Decimals "18". I have now transferred 0.9 GEO to my Pyrus wallet. But the display shows "9e-11 GEO". What do I need to change? I thought GEO was recognized by Pyrus by default, but I could be wrong as I have not yet used it myself. I'm more familiar with Fusion currently. Looking at your configuration, I see you've used 18 decimals, when it should only be 8 decimals. See if that helps resolve your issue in Pyrus |

Anyone know when we will be able to send from the Geocoin.cash online wallet to the UBIQ wallet. Withdrawals are still currently disabled.
Will the balance automatically get swapped to the new coin?
We need to replace the wallet backend first before any withdrawals will be allowed. We will be swapping the new GEO tokens for users with balances on geocoin.cash. |

https://imgur.com/ulFmo0zWe can see here the pattern of the curve. Looks like a pump and dump scheme. Any change of getting something more stable with this coin? I think it'll get more stable, and go upward sharply, when those withholding marketing put forth a real effort at exposure. The launch of the app is totally something worth hyping! If people don't hear about it they won't care about it. The app will be promoted when we are nearing completion and preparing for launch. I feel if we push for a lot of hype now, people will be even more upset. This is an ongoing project and the releases will only be made when we are confident in them. Since we've just migrated to a new blockchain, we have to reintegrate the wallet backend with new technologies. I'll be working closely with the UBQ devs to see what the best options for the GeoCashing implementation. |
