281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Disclosure about stolen funds from BitDice. on: June 14, 2015, 11:04:18 PM
Nice to know . This is probably the first case of coins being tracked and stolen coins being returned to the site.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 14, 2015, 07:16:01 PM

Another reason will be because using bots ease your way in martingale-ing. It would be harder to martingale manually and that is the reason people are using it (and lose with the martingale strategy)
To be honest yes, dice is not fun at all. As I have describe what more important is the community of the sites and thats what keep people coming back into the sites which you can check at PrimeDice that most people are still playing or chatting despite that they have lost alot there

Bots really fuck up the whole streak.
You cant put emotions into them. They will bet until they reach a milestone or the balance becomes zero.
You cant rely upon them, especially during a Martingale.

If you go about making martingale bets with something like 1 satoshi as your bets, then you can't be manually betting every roll as you will be stuck to your PC for your long time. Bots is the best way to go, as you can also set it to random.
If you bet bigger amounts, then manual is the best way as allowed losses streaks are usually smaller then ,and you can stop before.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 13, 2015, 06:13:28 PM

P.S : if you are looking for a site with lower wager amount for BlackJack then you should check on CoinRoyale which has 100 satoshis minimum bet ( I could be wrong on this )
Yes that is correct. Another thing to also note is Martingaling in Blackjack would be better than martingaling in Dice, as the house edge in Blackjack depending on the number of decks, is lower than dice. So you would tend to last longer in blackjack than in Dice, but eventually martingale will fail in both games.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: yes i know it's provably fair but ... on: June 13, 2015, 05:45:51 PM
Is there such a thing as "provably unfair"?

Its not a concept used on any of the sites, but once you see a site cheat, like incorrect rolls or skipping nonces, then I suppose you would call it provably unfair .
285  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need to learn how to play poker effectively, teach me or give me book name on: June 11, 2015, 03:15:02 PM

I actually been searching youtube and there is a ton of free info these days you'd never get back in 2005-2008 where some people would just bet the pot each time they want to bet lol.

You could also consider downloading some of the courses from successful players, obviously there are ways to download anything for free if needed.
I have gone through a lot of those videos. Watching some of the shared hand histories is fine, but for other videos its best to just sign up for a site like Runitonce or CardRunners, there you will have an extensive list of training videos for both cash games and tournies.
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need sportbooks site with bets on Tennis ITF on: June 11, 2015, 03:10:25 PM
I usually bet on Nitrogensports and Directbet for Tennis games. Both of them have listings of ITF series games in Tennis . SInce you have already tried out DB  , go ahead and try Nitrogen. Also I feel DB is the best for ITF games so I really don't think there is any other site which would list ITF games better than it.
287  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-10]DMT - Don't Buy Drugs Online With Bitcoin on: June 11, 2015, 12:37:22 AM
The government knows that it will be impossible for  them to effectively control the drug trade happening with bitcoin. It would be pointless for them to use vast resources just to track down real owners of those websites and dark markets. What I believe they are trying to do is put fear in the public after taking strict action against the Silk road mastermind and people who were related to the website.

Something similar happened with Aaron Swartz a few months back.
288  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: American Bar Association Teaching Bitcoin to Lawyers on: June 11, 2015, 12:34:06 AM
This is just another piggy bank for lawyers to dip their hands into.  Before too long there will be (more) convoluted laws to traverse when using bitcoins.  This is where they make the big bucks.  They write the laws in some secret code that only they know, and then you have to pay them to decipher it.  Damn I hate lawyers.

Its not going to be a bad thing to have lawyers specially for bitcoins. What is needed more is Cyber cops who could help in tracking down thefts and scams related to bitcoins. I could imagine lawyers to be in high use once government starts regulating it, and takes steps to stop money laundering and all.
289  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $50 NIKE eGift Card for JUST $20.00 USD | LIMITED TIME | FEW STOCK! on: June 11, 2015, 12:18:59 AM
Since he is accepting paypal, I would suggest people use that or use an escrow. Op you might also want to be careful about whom to accept paypal from else you will be taking an unnecessary risk of getting a reversal.
290  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.octoplay.net - Blackjack and Slots - We accept BTC/Dash/LTC/BLK/... on: June 10, 2015, 10:15:26 PM
A faucet would also be a good option to add just to try out the website. And I believe a provably fair should definitely be there to allow people to verify their bets. Also once in the Blackjack game, I couldn't find a button to take me back to the menu to go to the other games.
291  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: June 10, 2015, 10:08:15 PM

Right now we are working on developing Android, Linux, and Mac clients and hope to start rolling them out soon, although we can't provide a specific timeline. A browser-based client is also being considered, based on player input and feedback.
I wonder why the Linux client is even on the list. You guys really should rollout the html client at first. All the decrease in traffic is primarily only because of that.
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need to learn how to play poker effectively, teach me or give me book name on: June 10, 2015, 09:52:21 PM
If you have facebook account you can search poker games and practice there before playing
I would rather just suggest practising on Pokerstars with play money chips. The users on FB are more like newbies who keep shoving. PS still has a better standard of players for play chips, and also has tournaments running througout the day.

"Practising with play money chips" is the horrible advice that will most likely backfire. The only use of play money tables is get comfortable with the interface and the general rules.  Other than that, its a waste of time and an actual way to become worse at poker.

I would second that as well. Instead of practicing with free play chips its better to just play very low stakes like 0.01/0.02. You don't need a high bankroll for that. But it would not be an efficient way to improve your tournament game. Games which are of low buyins < 3$ usually won't get you good tournament experience. You will likely be playing against people who would be playing for just fun and would see a similar playing style like playing chips.
293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: regarding bitcoin affiliate program on: June 10, 2015, 09:47:23 PM
I would not suggest getting into affliate programs if you are new to it. You would be investing a lot of time and effort, into something that might potentially not yield any returns. Affliates are only successful for people who are good at marketing and can get a lot of traffic to the sites through their advertisements, and links.

You can potentially earn a lot but its hard to put a number on it. The affliates don't last long and you have to keep looking for new traffic.

295  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Why do you invest in a Ponzi? on: June 10, 2015, 09:39:49 PM
Quick money is the only reason just like any gamble that people make. But investing in any random ponzi which could be a scam, would definitely never be recommended.

297  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetCoin.ag Scam on: June 09, 2015, 09:24:35 PM

Wow, you lost a 25mbtc hand and you post that Betcoin is a scam and then you post a review from a spam site by a supposed affiliate?  The trolling is real out there everyone and clearly is unhindered by common sense.

Never had any problems at Betcoin and enjoyed watching the community grow.  Keep up the great work guys.

A Scam is a scam , doesn't matter if its 1 BTC or 25 mbtc. But mrkuban, without any proof your claim is not valid. This thread is the first of what I am seeing with a thread against them, never seen those countless shitty reviews you claim in the post.
298  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need to learn how to play poker effectively, teach me or give me book name on: June 09, 2015, 08:44:07 PM
If I recall correctly, learning to play Poker is very easy. Whats very difficult is learning other peoples reactions.

A common misconception of poker based on cheesy movies that has nothing to do with the reality

Yup, its all about making the right move, and does have some part of Hand reading, but its not always easy to read hands . Check out the Moorman Book of poker, relatively a new book I just read a few days back. It has some good hand examples, and is good for people who are intermediate at the game.
299  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need to learn how to play poker effectively, teach me or give me book name on: June 09, 2015, 06:55:14 PM
I want to learn how to play poker effectively. In tournaments I've always been conservative and had a decent cash rate. However I generally always min cash or so because I'm never one of the chip leaders usually. HELP!
Most of the times this is usually when players lack Post bubble skills. Grab a book which focuses on the post bubble part and what kind of play to use during different parts of the tournament ( Start/Prebubble/ Bubble/ FT) . You can also just watch videos of people from famous poker sites showing their tournament play.
300  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have PokerStars, Need BTC on: June 09, 2015, 05:48:57 PM
I have more than 500 usd, but I can only send 215 at this time.
I might be interested like last time. Are you still offering the discount or selling it without discount this time ?

Well, if you want I can buy some btc from you, but I will not wait that long. Send me a pm if interested

The only reason I requested the wait period is so funds can't be reversed. Since I am willing to send the funds to the escrow in the start only, therefore there shouldn't be any risk. You are anyways waiting for that many hours , for getting a trader here.
