Wow, the price jumped, even though the trading hasn't begun yet . Is that because of stamp?
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: So I turned 1 BTC into 6.9 playing blackjack on Betchain on: January 09, 2015, 06:51:55 PM
just curious, can you do the same thing but on like primedice?
You could definitely turn 1 BTC into 6.9 on primedice, but by playing dice.
I see a lot of people using strategies while playing Blackjack, but for dice there isn't a successful one, as its more of a pure gamble.
283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 09, 2015, 06:49:51 PM
Meanwhile in Bitcoin Land, the stolen BTC from the Bitstamp hack have been sold. https://blockchain.info/address/1L2JsXHPMYuAa9ugvHGLwkdstCPUDemNCf

Just because they have moved does not mean they have been sold
Maybe all of the exchanges would keep following the coins until it ends up on their site, and then maybe able to give more information about the person selling those.
284  Economy / Services / Re: Can someone teach me how to make an animated gif banner? on: January 09, 2015, 06:08:48 PM
Thank you for the replies and offers. Smiley

I also need to know how to convert swf or other formats to animated gifs.
You could easily create gifs with videos by using online service. Only the run time has to be limited.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin rise or fall on: January 09, 2015, 06:07:26 PM
Hi there, i've been wondering if bitcoin will still continue to succeed as the king of cryptos or will it die because of the tragedies that happend lately since most of the times there are alot of instances of hacking, fraudaulent, scamming and other altcoins competitors popping up... Can you guys please share your opinion about bitcoin's future? Will bitcoin still prevail?
Well, if it was easy to predict this, we woul dhave more millionaires. However, I think bitcoin as a technology will prevail .
The price could go either way.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin eBooks on: January 09, 2015, 06:05:52 PM
May you recommend eBooks about Bitcoin?

Free eBooks are particularly interesting.
Isn't there already too much info and books about bitcoins online. I doubt having more books would help.
However if you want to go into the technical stuff, then maybe yes, that would certainly be useful.

290  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 09, 2015, 10:01:01 AM

Some disturbing news for pro players:

Be careful when playing Limit HU Hold'em  Wink

It will be crazy if these bots get used in online poker. However sites like stars have an antibot policy, and will have something to detect these.
291  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Netflix on: January 08, 2015, 04:34:05 PM
I need to find a netflix account I can use for today
You could buy one for like 20 cents on the digital goods section.
292  Economy / Services / Re: Free Escrow Service. on: January 08, 2015, 04:09:16 PM
Escrows are meant to be trusted and have lots of previous trades. You only have a couple. I'd lock this thread if I was you and try again when you're established as a trustworthy trader.
Trust is supposed to be earned , thats how most of the escrows got there.  But usually escrows have history of large fund deals before, they start escrowing funds

293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | The Most Popular Bitcoin Game | 1% Edge | Active Chat | Free BTC on: January 08, 2015, 02:42:33 PM
Heh, if someone get x9900 with 1 BTC :3 but this is impossible.. :/
The max profit on he bet is not even covered. The max win is around 30 BTC on Prime dice, and 100 BTC max on any other site.

295  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, why did Bitstamp suspend fiat withdrawals? on: January 08, 2015, 08:44:10 AM
After all, this was just a small "hack" where some "hackers" stole a few bitcoins, right?

So, why did the Stamp guys suspend all fiat withdrawals?

No need to do that, or what?

Unless, of course, the Stamp guys actually have something to hide ... But that obviously can't be true!!! It's not like some Bitcoin exchange owner would ever tell a lie to his customers! That's impossible!

I gotta ask...are you ever happy?

This is a legitimate question.
Thats a really inappropriate question to ask . Looks like you think the op is trolling, but wouldn't you be worried if your money is stuck like that .
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need your help to fight with Market Manipulators on: January 08, 2015, 08:34:41 AM
Fight manipulation with manipulation?  Huh
Looks like a nice thing. But things would get ugly if they decide to dump now, and fight back.
Anyways, op how can you say this?
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last 7 blocks have been found in 12 minutes !!! on: January 07, 2015, 06:07:44 PM
Or an indication of an increasing difficulty.
WOuldn't that actually mean the difficulty going down?
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the bitcoin community start its own bank? on: January 07, 2015, 04:18:22 PM
Just wondering what would be involved in founding a new bank that's friendly towards the interests of bitcoiners. Of course you'd still be dealing with the problems of having to trust a bank, but at least it would be better than trusting the big banks that are always closing bitcoin-related accounts. I'm just talking about a bank that would be willing to open business accounts for bitcoin traders, and where you wouldn't have to worry about telling them you're using your account for buying and/or selling cryptos.

How much capital would it take to start a small bank or credit union along these lines? Which country would it make sense to try it in, if any?

Having a bitcoin bank would be a risk , and it will be against the decentralized nature of bitcoin.
