281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready for the Bitcoin bull market? What's your plan? Some ideas for you on: January 29, 2024, 06:29:10 AM
Good advice all-round OP, timing the top is near impossible, it's better to take profit when it's good enough, every profit is considered a profit, even if it times two or times four, unrealized profit will turn to losses later, imagine waiting for years to see Bitcoin at a new all time high and you failed to take profit because you believe that it's just getting started? That will be so painful.

I can say the same thing with Bear market too, timing the bottom have make many people to miss it already, the feeling of never getting enough is greed, when the FTX saga started I knew it will hit very hard, probably the best buying opportunity, I went all into Bitcoin then and I started saving some USDT again, and when 15k Bitcoin happened I did the same thing.

Those who are expecting 10k Bitcoin will never get it again, and they will probably buy back at 30k range if they are lucky, instead of targeting the market price action it's better to use the cycle, Bear market is a buying period and bull market is a selling period, if you don't follow this you will miss out.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 28, 2024, 12:24:43 PM
When something isn't going right for some people they will change totally and possibly get angered, I have seen this in few people before, especially now that things are very hard in the country, everyone is now a walking hungry lion you don't want to mess with.

In gambling cases, many people have made the bad choices and that's because they thought gambling is the solution to their problems and yet the same gambling ruined everything for them, but I believe that those who result into violence have weak mind.

I have not once but twice lost everything, with nothing left to start with, but I stand for myself and slowly grow up, when you lose it will hurt but it is a step closer to your victory, take loses as a lesson.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC security on: January 28, 2024, 11:31:27 AM
I don't use Trezor but it's a very good hardware wallet, the only places that damages can come from is you letting another person touch the hardware wallet, they can carry some attack on the wallet itself.

Keep your hardware wallet away from anyone, it should be private, also make sure that your backup is safe and privacy to your access only, avoid telling anyone that you have Bitcoin or any hardware wallet, to avoid attacks.

The recovery seed, either 12 or more can't be brute force, relax, this shit can only be possible if they get their hands on your hardware wallet, keep using your PIN and keep the hardware wallet safe, it's all good.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong Moves With Your Bitcoin on: January 28, 2024, 10:33:26 AM
I don't have a lot to say here but you did the right thing by taking risks, what you did wrong was going all in, imagine if you did this on Ethereum, will you be complaining today? As for those who have interest in alternative coins I always tell them to diversify their portfolio, because if one or two goes wrong you will be fine if one did very well.

Bitcoin is still the best bet but believe that, newer opportunities will always come, we can't always stick with Bitcoin, the opportunity keeps shrinking every year and it keeps getting harder to mine.

Also, bear market always get boring, even the most prepared will start doubting their moves at a point, I am in no shape to feel like this anymore as I have gone pass this already, you need a lot of patience in crypto investment.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: January 28, 2024, 09:07:15 AM
I believe that gambling addiction is already bad before it becomes a problem, because whatever you are addicted to becomes a part of yourself, even when you realize that it's a problem, to beat the addiction will be a bigger problem, precaution is always better than cure.

I don't encourage getting addicted to gambling, it's not a good thing, addiction is taking things to far, and too much of everything is bad generally, there is no such thing as good addiction, it will cause you big problem.

Even if you are responsible and taking care of your family, addiction is a big problem and it will affect you sooner, it's better not to get addicted at all.
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: January 28, 2024, 07:55:17 AM
We all have different tastes mate, someone's most trusted casino on this forum can't be the same with mine, we all have different criteria we look for in online casinos, you can't know this until you have a experience with the casinos yourself.

Stake and Fortune Jack are the top on my list and now I am starting to have some good time on JustCasino, maybe it can take a place in my heart on the long run but now I am still doing my entertainment experiment on the gambling platform.

This forum is good for sourcing online casinos but mind you, be careful with new casinos on the forum, make sure you take some time away from them and let some people have some experience using it first before you jump in, few have turned scam in the past.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To any Bitcoin holder who lost their seed: How did you lose it? on: January 26, 2024, 07:55:06 AM
I have never lost access to my recovery seed before, I always write them down in a book and no single natural disasters have made me lose them, I have lost my bitcoin before but that's me importing the recovery seed into a bad/fake Bitcoin wallet and I got drained.

Writing down your recovery seed is a safe method if you can keep the book safe, but I recommend multiple recovery backup, just in case, you only have to make sure it's back up offline, you can write it down in two separate locations and keep your mouth shut about it.

Avoid taking screenshot of your recovery seed, do not store them in any online cloud storage, if possible you should get a hardware wallet, they are always safer than software wallet, make sure the bitcoin wallet you are using is fully open-source like Electrum.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: January 25, 2024, 10:14:22 AM
It's definitely a good advice I can give gambling newbies, if they can use one percent of their money to risk on gambling nothing bad will go wrong, but I do risk more than one percent when gambling, I am risking somewhat like three percent of my money in gambling and I don't gamble almost every time.

Make sure that this percentage comes from your income, using your money to take risks is better than using a loan money or money you borrow from others, you will be able to sleep well at night if the money is all yours but make sure you risks very little on gambling.

Always be prepared to lose the money, but since it's just a percent you are risking it won't affect you compare to using a lot more or even all your salary, this will hurt you a lot of up lose it.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If satoshi shows he has still controll of all of his coins what would happen ? on: January 25, 2024, 09:31:11 AM
We really can't say until this happens for real, there is two possibility here.

1. There will be panic because people will react to this numbers of Bitcoin, 1 million Bitcoin is not a joke, this can make people to panic sell their bags, thinking that Satoshi might start dumping.

2. There will be good reaction, like Hurray! Satoshi Nakamoto is alive all along, market can react positively to this news and Bitcoin price action won't even care what Satoshi will do next with his Bitcoin bag.

But let's not forget that even if this person might sell their one million Bitcoin, it's not comparable to the max supply of all Bitcoin, that's 21 million, it can cause some massive negative reaction but not for long.
290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: January 25, 2024, 08:12:31 AM
What are you here for OP? You are free to keep your account if you don't have interest in making any contribution, I know some one on here who hardly reply to discussions, he keep his account to only read about what people are discussing about only.

Merit isn't very important but like I have said it all depends on what you are here for, are you here to make a name for yourself by ranking up? Are you here just to learn only? Or are you here to provide some good solutions to crypto related problems?

Contribution is how you get merits on this forum but it doesn't matter, nothing will happen to your account if it's not merited, you can be active or not for years and your account will still be safe, make sure you use a strong password combination and maybe even activate the 2FA Authentication.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 25, 2024, 07:21:54 AM
Knowing is better than not knowing, if you are able to identify the dangers that awaits crypto investors you should be fine, do the right things and that's by learning always in crypto space, do not forget that scammers are also looking for new ways to scam people, that's why you must keep on learning.

The biggest place where crypto investors turned victim to scam are on social media, twitter on my mind here, that social platform is a living hell for genuine crypto investors, anyone can tag you, even those you trust will take advantage of you if you are not very careful.

I don't trust anything on social media anymore, now I prefer to stay away and use the right places to find answers to what I want, like this forum, coinmarketcap and others, if you want to escape most scam tricks stay away from Telegram and Twitter.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 25, 2024, 06:55:00 AM
I can bet with you that such people will end up looking like a fool, because those who he make guesses for will bounce back on him when the so called unlucky thing in gambling start happening, no one can see the future, even those who are not human do fail when predicting the future.

In gambling world, a good guesser always end up becoming a bad one, because they are trying to become the impossible, only the creator of this world knows everything, so don't even try looking for someone who can guess, everyone can guess but they can't always be right.

Gambling is all about getting good luck or bad luck, we don't know what will happen that's why prediction is far ahead of any humans, the only thing we can rely on is good bankroll management, risk only what you can afford to lose, this is the only power we have over gambling, if you are not too greedy you will do well.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: January 24, 2024, 10:01:45 AM
I believe that those who use large amount of money on lotteries already understand that the chances of winning is very slim, I believe that are ready to lose that amount, I hate lotteries because it seem impossible to win.

There is a old man who live all the days of his life believing that lottery is the way for him to become a better person in life and at a old age he regretted not doing something else with his life, I can't advice anyone to venture into lotteries, do not waste your whole life away with lottery.

If you want go into lotteries do not rely on this, it's a waste of time and it can waste your life away, do things that can bring you honor in the long run and if lottery works out its a plus, way better than relying on something that may never be.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 24, 2024, 09:19:35 AM
To be honest, both slots and soccer game are games of luck, I just like that the casino isn't in control of the soccer matches, it depends on the performance of the footballers, this make it feels more exciting compare to Slots games that's from casinos, provably fair? We really can't say.

@Nrcewker, you consider sports betting a game of skill, are you the one playing on the field? That's a no, so you can't call this a game of skill if you are not the one in total control, can you count how many times your favourite sport club have disappoint you?

Ask yourself why it's then very hard to win when betting on sports? I know not one but more people that have been betting on sports for years, since college days and they don't make any significant amount that could do anything life changing for them, it's completely a game of luck still.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally I got myself my first real cold wallet on: January 24, 2024, 08:15:54 AM
As a member you should have ask the question on here before making the purchase, Ledger is a crap hardware wallet, because it's closed source, Trezor is better, I will never use any hardware wallet that's closed source, you won't be able to see how weak or strong they are, your data isn't safe with this type of company.

Someone very close to me bought this same Ledger Nano X and after I told him some facts why he shouldn't have bought Ledger he sold it to someone else and went for Trezor Safe 3 and he is loving it.

People are so lazy to do research this days, if you do your research well you should have gone with a better cold wallet with offline open source feature, sorry pal, Ledger isn't one of them.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prepare for the Next Dip before the Real Bull. on: January 24, 2024, 07:22:10 AM
Few comments are blaming ETFs for the dump, I will like to tell you that it doesn't matter, at this point it's very expected that Bitcoin will retrace back to 3* because it always do the same, if you are good with past data you will see that Bitcoin have always do the exact same thing.

Many will say otherwise, some will say it's something else, more FUDs will be born, it doesn't matter, Bitcoin will always do what it has been doing, the answer is all in the chart already, the problem is many people aren't even aware of this fact.

This will probably be the last buying opportunity before the halving, we are still going to go side ways but by the third quarter of this year it's already over, the bulls will be strongly back and many investors will FOMO into the market like they always do, it's a God damn circle over again.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Signs you should know to take profit from your crypto investment on: January 24, 2024, 06:29:34 AM
When the unbelievers start asking you about Bitcoin is a sign that the top is close, they are asking because the world is aware of the huge spike in Bitcoin price, the next big dip is near the corner, take your action before it's too late.

I don't tend to wait for this signs though because I have my own strategy, in every bull market I don't hesitate to take profit, it's the best time to take profit and it's also good to have profit taking strategy, like me, I will start taking profit when Bitcoin reach the past ATH of 70,000, I will take up to 10% profit at this range.

I will start raking profits from my altcoins depending on how or which one is topping the chart in my portfolio, if you know your entry level you should be able to figure out when to take profit, like investing on a project at 4million market cap for example, when it reach 40 million market cap it's not wrong to take your initial out and if it's a good one 400 million marketcap is possible, ride it along and start pulling your profits out.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A brief advice for the newbie gamblers. on: January 23, 2024, 10:32:21 AM
Gambling has different effect on every individual, some people started gambling and they keep losing money which prompt them to give going and never give up and it keeps making them lose money, will some gamblers have a taste of Good luck after few rounds of trying out gambling for the first time, which turned into a trap of never letting go.

The best advice there is to new gamblers is reality, face and understand reality, gambling can make you money but it can make you lose even more, protect yourself from losing too much to gambling before you win, this is why many members on this forum keep warning newbies to have a small budget for gambling.

If you keep risking and losing $10 for a week straight before you one day win $500 it's better than risking $40 for a week straight and you end up winning $500 or none, I prefer risking small money in gambling and I focus more on the day, is it fun? That's the most important, if not, find a game that suits your taste.
299  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: January 23, 2024, 09:17:14 AM
That's impossible, every online casinos have their weak points, they don't always have all criteria that gamblers want, it's left for gamblers to try them out and see for themselves if they can manage the online casino as it is or not.

Players vs players isn't available for all online casinos, and not all online casinos have daily bonuses, I think what you seek for is like asking for too much in a one casino, it's almost impossible to see such casino existence.

You need to choose maybe you? The most important should be fair gaming and good customer service, others are not this important, KYC and withdrawal limits and co are something I can live with, if the casino isn't not a scam then you are good to go.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: January 23, 2024, 08:51:19 AM
Generational wealth from gambling is like walking on air, we all know how impossible this is unless one is a great magician, still possible but only few magicians can pull this trick, how many gamblers have turned wealthy in gambling? Maybe 10 out of millions.

Are you going to bet all your life and precious time on something that brings this thinly chances of luck to human? You may not the next number eleven because the chances are too slim, this is the true meaning of gambling.

What OP shared is a very bad advice and I hope it doesn't get into the mind of any newbie on here, telling people to take a loan is even the worst, you literally can not lose it says, LMAO, that's crazy.
