281  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Political problems in nigeria... on: April 07, 2024, 03:07:49 AM
Apart from Godfatherism I don't regard any other problems you listed here because it's obvious that not only Nigeria has this problems. And why is this here and not our local board? Perhaps other countries discusses issues like this in their local boards.

But anyways, I will contribute my own ideas here. Godfatherism is one major issue that has eating deep down our Nigeria politics, governmental positions are not occupied by people who are capable of handling them rather they choose who have served them enough and settle them with a position that someone has been aspiring for and most have gotten enough knowledge to handle the position but no because of Godfatherism it not possible anymore.

The problem now is that alot of youths are still under this category of Godfatherism and hence they are not ready to change from those people whom have ruined the country for over years yet they stick with them and betray their fellow youths.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: April 07, 2024, 02:52:50 AM
I rather predict on my own and accept it as my fate even if I lost the bet over trusting someone when it is logical that nobody can predict future outcomes still they somehow project themselves as experts in predicting the results mostly via social media influence.

There are people in the elite class who may have a piece of insider information about actual match-fixing but they are not going to reveal such information even for a few thousand dollars cause they know the value is probably in the millions. So whatever we see in the name of paid prediction experts is absolute crap.
I agree with you totally, even if someone knows the the inside information of a match it doesn't still guarantee that it will go in it's way or the will of the insider.

We are humans and non can predict the next minute, if it were possible the predictors wouldn't have chosen such area of gambling to make money, they would either have been billionaires by not multi millionaires with there fake predictions.
Gambling is taking risk of a game of luck so I don't believe any piece of information that regards sure prediction as there is nothing link sure prediction hence all games are luck based.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: April 07, 2024, 02:42:58 AM
Helping beginners not become addicted to gambling is by providing a good understanding of when they should gamble and how big a bet they should place when they want to gamble.
We can tell about our bad and good experiences when we lose or win when gambling and provide an explanation of the serious risk impacts when we are addicted. With a slow process that doesn't take too long, maybe beginners will be able to accept the suggestions and input that we provide and try to monitor every way the beginners play. If he makes a wrong move, we will immediately reprimand him gently so as not to cause a fight.
You have a good idea here but I think the summary of everything is that casinos should increase the restriction on gambling, since we are focused on the young people here they can increase the age limit of gambling and perhaps for the ones who gambling online they can use there data's that are shared online to manipulate how the casinos will work for each person even restricted them from playing some certain games on the web page.

All this suggests are good but I already know it's not possible because gambling is for profit making and casino owners will never agree with that because it will definitely destroy the profit they make from people. Hence the only solution is just to advise the younger ones not to attempt gambling as it's very bad for there life and health or even try to convince them that gambling is evil hence shouldn't be practiced to scare them away.
284  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The Birthday of bitcoin founder. on: April 07, 2024, 02:26:26 AM
Perhaps there is no need to make further arguments of who or when Satoshi Nakamoto was born or when his an individual or not because we had a lot of arguments that has profited us nothing so it's even better not to take of it anymore from my own point of view.

Let's just enjoy the invention and not argue over it anymore mate but perhaps you could think of locking the thread since it's aim has been defeated already.

Have a good time mate!
285  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Don't allow politicians to use you on: April 07, 2024, 02:18:14 AM
Since binance remove naira features from their exchange I just they think of the whole matter about this our government.  So this government think just few young people wey dey into cryptocurrency is now the problem of this country. So young people struggling to make living is now the problem of the economy? If I dey think this thing the thing dey pain me because with this it is clear that this old politicians don't have any good plan for the young people in this country.

With this current hard economy government no find politicians wey store dollars in the houses and politicians wey dey deal with dollars in spending, them never talk anything concerning politicians spending dollars and they are looking into the youth matter.

If e dey possible for them they will ban cryptocurrency for the country make e be as if they are making good effort to make things better , but them know say the youths go change ahm for them.

The young people should learn and see that this people no care about us, make we no allow them to use us when e reach time for elections .
With the level of awareness in the country, using the  #endsars and the 2023 general election that took place I believe the youths and other Nigerian agitators will never alot any politician to us then in any way. From my observation, I saw a lot of youths file out to make things right by voting a well enlighten man into sit but the national force are bigger than the individual effort hence our big plans fell into gutter.

Even with the outcome I believe that only few  touts will fall for the few penny that will be paid for destroying ballot boxes. But in the next few years Nigeria will begin to witness very be changes as soon as this incumbent president leaves the sit, hence we will vote in another young man to lead and if they fail us the we will go for a woman next hence our Nigeria take a better form.
286  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Never outshine he who illuminated your dark path on: April 07, 2024, 01:49:51 AM
Contentment and appreciating every little things is the opposite of biting the hand that feed you. Some people are so greedy that they do not think of others not even those who helped them achieve a greater height. Betrayals everywhere, most people then to look at things in a way that it only favours them and whatever blocks their way they will fight or try to take it down even if it's their mentor, I see this act mostly in Nigeria politics.

It's very bad to pay evil to the good hands that groomed you, I hate people with such nature because it makes one not to really help people anymore. For example, I did you good and you pay me with bad it will automatically be hard for me to help another person because it will become a fear in me that I can not longer help people but the only thing I can say here is if you have such attributes please put them away and be a grateful mind.
287  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: WHY ARE NIGERIANS UNHAPPY on: April 07, 2024, 01:35:53 AM
It's true that happiness is free and it's a choice but it doesn't really matter here in Nigeria. Everyday people see reason to be happy but when they remember the current situation of things it automatically turns the happy moments in to sad moments.

How can one make a 50 in a month and spend it in an hour of shopping because of how expensive things have become, does that call for joy? No! People are going through alot and if yours doesn't make you sad, you will find someone out there suffering and you will surely be sad for their situations and not yours.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: April 07, 2024, 12:44:56 AM
In most cases people lose from gambling, people cannot gain from it because gambling depends a lot on luck. But strategy often helps in better results. But most people lose their money by gambling. Gambling is profitable to very few and harmful to most, because one class loses and one class wins. Most people are new to gambling but those who have been playing for a long time adopt strategies and are more successful.
Strategies are profitable and helpful for one to reach far in the space. We can never seem so sure about the system, except for those that are already blended. 0Losses is compulsory and it doesn't matter how far or experience in the space, when one's time finally arrive to lose, he or she will definitely lose back to back without even given a thought. We should always make sure we're eating good from the space despite the versatile results we're facing.
The fact is there is no safe play in the gambling space, it's all about losing and winning which means it's a luck based game. Even the most strategic person in the world will still loses even if they have all it takes to win.

Most of the time we are ask not to play with what we cannot afford to lose, which means it's more of losing than winning. We just have to be more careful to gamble only when we know that there is no pressing need because of there is then the next action will be wanting to get our money doubled hereby leading to addiction or something else that Might not be good.
289  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Why some newbies dey quick lose interest for the forum?? on: April 07, 2024, 12:32:44 AM
The main reason why anyone would lose interest in the forum is because the person lacks the spirit of learning. The forum is all about reading, learning and building omes self, but anyone who is not ready to go through these process will not be successful in the forum.
Yes na true say person gays dey learn everything or dey open to learning before dem go dey successful for here, many times newbies dey complain say dem dey bully dem but na because then no get crypto knowledge and dem no want take lesson from any body, if you correct them na bully straight and that thing dey cause to comot for the forum fast fast.

Some people na because them think say na just come post one or two them go just rank up etc but when them come nd the game is not like that then begin dey vex they even want destroy the small opportunities wey them get. If person no fit learn from random people for here whether na their mate or not them no go waste time fall out.
290  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 5 keys to wealth creation in the crypto space on: April 07, 2024, 12:25:05 AM
You don try write out some keys to success but no be the 5 key things to create wealth for crypto space because the points na general points wey for people to make am for life especially for financial freedom.
If person dey follow up all this strategies for any business wey them dey do you go see say gradually them go make big progress, especially if them come dedicate their time to learning new things. Because for life if you want grow you go must learn new new things wey dey for your business line so that e enable you catch more client.

For the crypto world for person to dey success for them go need do some kind thing like serious research. Wey go make them know the kind thingvwey dem want go buy. And to dey security conscious na big deal because even if you make billions from crypto and no better security the money fit go in a blink of an eye.
291  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Market yourself and become visible on: April 07, 2024, 12:14:10 AM
Just like this saying that our people normally say that you can not light a candle and hide it under a table, so it is with our skill life. Ones you don get the necessary skill na to go find wey make you show up where necessary. If you which to make am you no supposed hide your skill.

Nowadays, people get game from social medias and I have seen that tiktok app has been a place for product promotions, so if one has something that you think people will like to patronize you have to show them and surely within a certain time they will locate you.

Just as you said here in the forum, me I get skill wey I want advertise here oo but the truth come be say the opportunity never come out make I do am as planned. I be graphics designer, I get alot of customers but my academics schedule dey make not dey deliver on time and I noticed that it's bring my trust down, so some times we need the necessary things to show ourselves because you no go do adverts when you no fit deliver. But generally I agree with the fact say showing ones skill is very necessary for progress.
292  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Make we dey very careful about Bitcoin minimum deposit for some exchange on: April 07, 2024, 12:01:55 AM
Sincerely, this new characteristics of centralised exchanges na bad act oh. But the way wey people fit use no fall enter this kind problem naim be my own concern, apart from checking manually, them supposed dey send notifications if them change terms and conditions or policy for the exchange but from weytin Una dey complain here show say them no dey inform Una with the new development but any how sha, I know say alot of people no dey really notice am because say them dey only transact big big transactions.

But for small people like us such new development has alot to do with us because we might not afford to loss any funds at those current situations.
I think say this kind of thing na why most senior members for the forum dey always take say make we no dey use centralised exchanges.
293  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Growing Nigeria's Digital Economy on: April 06, 2024, 11:50:43 PM
Truth is individuals are making big progress locally and internationally but the country itself isn't appreciating at all instead it depreciates more. I wish the rate at which citizens put effort to make the country proud around the world so the governments are also putting effort to push us forward, then Nigeria would have been where you sight it to be.

But perhaps when we look at Nigeria at the African level, it's very clear that we are doing very much well than alot of the African countries. I can also, say that Nigerians (individual) effort are really showing in the world, we dominate everywhere we set our fit, which is a very nice attribute for us but it's not still enough for the population and capacity which are supposed to posses.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: April 06, 2024, 01:50:18 PM
Having an offline wallet on an airgapped device is practically the best way to store your bitcoin for a long term which believe I that's the same measure the said person is talking about.

But one also needs the hardware wallets, there is absolutely no reason to justify that one has a thousand dollars investment in bitcoin and can not afford a hardware wallet, is that weird?.
For me what ever it takes to remain safe is the ideal goal, and a cold storage is what guarantees a better security.

295  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: FG to unveil new NIN card with payment capability: on: April 06, 2024, 01:27:54 PM
My take on this issues is what's the essence of putting a lot of funds into unnecessary things when we have a lot of problems choking the country. If you get to know the exact amount that was stipulated to the accomplishment of this NIN task, you will begin to wonder if this federal government are being operated by human beings or animals. No wonder Anikulakpo Fala called them animals in human form, (zombies) who take actions where unnecessary.

We have inflation tackle it's citizens where measures of inflation reduction is needed they are trying to fix NIN, those times when they wanted very one to link their numbers with NIN what happened to this innovations to take place then?. This country is beginning to head towards the walls that it's citizen will begin to take suicide actions.

But anyways if this new NIN project will bring any further development in the country then it's a good one but if not then the people who proposed the action need to visit psychiatric hospitals.

298  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is investing in exchange tokens profitable? on: April 06, 2024, 02:00:12 AM
So basically, exchange tokens are altcoins and it's always advisable to trade with cautions when it comes to altcoins but as we Nigerians we like to take opportunity and this exchange tokens are also opportunities that comes ones in a while after looking at the history of the three exchange mentions I'm convinced that the last one will also do well in future and as such you can invest on it. Perhaps that should only be if you have enough funds to wager around because I know that but those tokens are more like taking a whole lot breakable plates in one hand, it might profit, it may not too. It's a two way stuff.

Here we can only give you advise but it doesn't mean we are correct, it's all our biased suggestions either based on experience or based on what we hear from others but I like you to take a bold step with your extra cash not what you can not afford to loss, but any extra funds that you might consider not really relevant then put them there, and give it time to see how well they will do.
299  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No matter what don't let your life be controlled by three things on: April 06, 2024, 12:32:35 AM
This are some of the things that has so much influence in our life's that some point if not careful enough they will surely tend to control you but if you're good enough to control yourself then you can overcome there urges.

In most cases money has controlled the life's of some people to the extent that there carelessly take their own lives with their hands. When you become obsessed with money you can do whatever it takes to reach that money. there is one ideology in my place that says people change when there see money, it's most times that a lot of people luckily becomes millionaires when they do not expect it and hence it tends to change their psychology on how they think hence can lead to deviant behaviours.
300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Equal society is possible.... on: April 06, 2024, 12:12:21 AM
Equality is not possible any where in the world, as far as life is concerned, there is nothing equally so the society can not be equal. This fact doesn't mean justice can't prevail.

Even from the biblical account of creation,God never created everything to be equal, he made some to be big and some small, man over woman and so on. The society is built on a social strata that has a hierarchy of three, the upper class, middle class and the low class. Non cam function without the other.
A practical question that can fix the deliberation concerning equality is "If everyone becomes rich who will serve who?".just like there will be no driver nor taxi, no clear I'm any where, you cannot employ me I can not employ you.

So life is just not supposed to be equal, it's natural that one should be bigger at some point that that has made the society to last long. There most be a class of followers and leaders.
