Finally, third match of this competition was also finished today successfully among Multan Sultan squad against Karachi Kings squad. Karachi Kings squad lost first match from Multan Sultan with good difference of scores total 55 scores. Many batters of Karachi Kings squad was not displayed real and good batting inning performance like James Vince, Daniel Sams, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Nawaz and Saad Baig. James Vince Batter was wiped out at 5 scores, Saad Baig also not got out at 0 scores, Mohammad Nawaz also cleared out from crease after collecting 7 scores. Other batters Hasan Ali, Mir Hamza and Daniel Sams all cleared out at 0 scores which really a bad strength from Karachi Kings squad. Total defeating target was 185 scores which was made by Multan Sultan squad but Karachi Kings squad was unable to achieve this target and got a victory
My initial thinking was that Multan Sultans have not scored enough runs and it will be a bit difficult for them to secure 185 runs but we saw disappointing batting from Karachi kings. Look at figures of Shan Masood he played 31 balls to score 30 runs, Shoaib Malik was good with bat and scored 53 runs on 35 balls. The way Karachi kings have played there first match it seems like they will finish last on points table this year also. |

At least on paper, Netherlands is supposed to be stronger. They are widely regarded as the strongest associate side. And they were the only associate nation to qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup (and then went on to defeat South Africa and Bangladesh during the tournament). Also, they have most of their players participating in either county cricket or other first class competitions around the world. On the other hand, Nepal is considerably weakened by the absence of Sandeep Lamichhane. They are a very young side and none of the players have first class experience.
Namibia is also a strong associate team like Netherlands. We have seen Namibia in many ICC tournament's and todays game was supposed to be between two teams of equal level but it was Netherlands who dominated. Consistency will come with more experience. Look at the players. Yashasvi Jaiswal is just 22 years old. Shubman Gill is 24. Even Shreyas Iyer is still in his 20s. Rishabh Pant would be a good addition to the squad as well, and he is in his mid 20s. Yashasvi Jaiswal spot in test cricket is reserved because of his two double centuries in two consecutive test matches. I am not sure about Shubman Gill, he has already played 23 test matches and he is not very consistent in batting. Karachi Kings won the toss and decided to field first. Karachi Kings skipper decides to field first but Karachi Kings bowler are not able to make good use of it. Multan Sultans players came to bat first and Mohammad Rizwan got out for just 11 runs. No problem. Dawid Malan and Reeza Hendricks these two foreign players are batting very well. Babar Azam got out after collecting 68 runs off 42 balls. After losing the wicket of Babar for 147 runs, no other batsman could play a big innings. Cadmore scored 18 runs off 18 balls. Powell was dismissed for 17 runs off 9 balls. Peshawar Zalmi could have won this match if Powell had stayed at the crease. Mohammad Amir and Abrar Ahmed bowled very controlled today. Zalmi run chase was impressive in the start, they lost first wicket when score was 91 runs in 8.4 overs. Saim Ayub was first Zalmi batsmen to dept after scoring 42 runs on 26 balls. Babar Azam kept fighting after the departure of Saim Ayub and played an agressive knock of 68 runs on 42 balls. Saud Shakeel is man of the match for his match winning 74 runs on 47 balls. PZ won the toss and asked QG to bat first. Quetta Gladiators took full advantage of batting first and gave a huge target to Peshawar Zalmi. From Quetta Gladiators, Jason Roay and Saud Shakeel gave tough time to Zalmi bowlers, Peshawar got first break through in 16th over when Saud Shakeel got out. Peshawar Zalmi run chase was good in the start but not good enough to win the match. Zalmi openers score 91 runs in 9 overs but once the opening stand was broken, Gladiator bowlers didnt allowed rest of Zalmi batting to settle.

India is in a position that they can't lose this match from this point, so tomorrow they will come and starts scoring runs at fast pace and probably let England to survive for the 4 and half sessions which is not possible with bazball on 5th day pitch. I hope they don't mind missing Ash in batting but definitely his absence may hurt.
Gill scored a century at Visakhapatnam and going good in second innings. He need to bring consistency in his performance, if he keep playing like that then soon she will be axed from the team. Fakhar Zaman lost his wicket and I think he could also protect his wicket and partnership with Farhan if he played sometimes more defensively when Shaibzada Farhan did a wonderful score so he didn't need to hit a six, but at the same time, every batsman wanted to make runs and it's a natural and common thing in batsmen to in the search of 4 & 6.
