281  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] CryptX introduces the PETA-MINE - 18,000 CHIPS IN SEPTEMBER/UPDATE on: September 11, 2013, 06:42:42 PM
Creativex has admitted to trying it here.

Please read your own post. What happened is not what you described. You attributed a post to me that I did not make.

It seems the opportunistic manipulators don't realize that when they admit to manipulating it decreases their effectiveness at manipulating.

Listen guys, I'm at work so I'll join you all later....

Don't start the party without me,  it's gonna be a whole lot of fun!!   Kiss

Hashing but no info to post. Labcoin no where to be found. I'm calling BS on this now.
Wow dropping so fast. Labcoin bagholder anyone?
Oh well I took my IPO profits. I really wanted to believe in Labcoin but they make it incredibly difficult. Good luck to the remaining shareholders.
Yep bids are getting pulled and I don't blame them. Most with a decent amount will be stuck soon.
here we go folks, leaving .003 soon. There are still some bids open though.
You might get lucky? The sell off continues.
My bids filled. I think there are some happy campers now.

This is just priceless. Be sure to read the last line.

So many sheeple, I can't help myself.

Involving Sparmann in their project proves that labcoin management *IS* capable of making a good decision at least part of the time. At least it works for me.

Labcoin The Seven
August 8, 2013 By bcoinnews Leave a Comment
IRC conversation with [7] from FPGAmining
<jborkl>You are TheSeven from Fpgamining correct?
<[7]> yes
<jborkl> i.e.(Labcoin) they are actually developing something?
<[7]> I can’t really comment on that because I wasn’t involved in the development of them besides giving them some general hints what can be optimized etc.
<[7]> i’m mostly involved with the second generation chips
<jborkl> 65nm chips?
<[7]> yes, they are actually developing something, definitely. I just can’t comment on how successful it will be
<jborkl> Thank you. I will ask your permission to post this up.
<[7]> yes, from what i know that second generation will be 65nm, although we could technically still switch to something else at this stage
<jborkl> ok, Thank you for your time.

Hey MilkyLep, I share your perspective re:Yifu. That said, I make every effort to check my feelings at the door when it comes to business decisions. I'd only consider further business with Avalon if it made solid financial sense for bASIC-MINING and it's investors. The risk that Avalon/Yifu will fail to meet their obligations going forward is at an all time high and It'd be a mistake to ignore that if/when contemplating future purchases.

Labcoin...meh. Don't even know where to begin to describe that circus.

Cheers.

It's great Bitsyncom will remodel their pre-order/sales buisness, really it is. But from my perspective, a drastic change within the company needs to occur before I return any respect much less BTC to them.

I know bASIC has had far more positive experiences, but Yifu's updates are still just words. And you must ask yourself, is Yifu a man of his word?

Regarding the Labcoin thread, I'm still wading through posts back from the "hashing" "update." I suppose they made the deadline, dividends one week from hash startup is understandable. Even if they missed their target hashrate, without much explanation. Wouldn't it be something if they were hashing with bitfury gear or avalon chips though!  Tongue

Speaking of bitfury, one day closer to October delivery!

Initiating a panic selling frenzy based on irrational fear will likely be more difficult for manipulators now that burnside has confirmed LC founders are holding at least as large a stake as they said they would. We already know labcoin management flat out stinks at communicating. We already know they've provided very little proof. In the absence of new information I don't really see the impetus to sell, particularly as they've said they'd provide additional information "in a few days", "soonTM", and "in 48hrs". They've also said they'd increase to 4Th by next Monday.

Can you provide a link to Burnside's confirmation? Thanks.

Burnside,

can you confirm whether LABCOIN has provided you accounts to lock as per
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=263445.msg2896819#msg2896819

Quote
How will you show transparency with the 75% retained shares? the IPO manager will arrange some kind of way for burnside to release that information

I have not been handed a list unless I missed it somewhere.

I hope the LABCOIN guys don't mind me disclosing this.  Over 85% of the 3 million shares have not left a specific account I know is held in the Labcoin name.  The other 15% could easily be held in any of the next few top shareholders, but I am not privy to who is who without some assistance.

Edit/add: and this account is not locked.  I will not lock it without a specific request from the owner.

Burnside

I believe the time has come for this to be resolved and it is no longer a background issue - time has come in this particular instance as owner and administrator of exchange to demonstrate a reasonable level of concern for customers finances, and locking of LABCOIN security, pending resolution should start. No update has been forwarded via the issuer as yet even though it has been promised. This to me suggests evidence of cheating, lying from one or both parties.

I would like to remind that anyone that is aware of and has the power to investigate or terminate, yet allows unfettered operation of fraudulent investment schemes- that is happy to bury their head in the sand as long as it is earning them profits becomes an accessory, or an accomplice and could potentially be in for a rude awakening

"Nothing is verified."  It's at the top of every single page.

I do not (nor does ANY regulatory body anywhere) have the ability to track every single promise a person makes, nor the ability to enforce follow-through on such promises.

If you're nervous about it, don't get involved with that asset.  (Seriously.  Stay away from anything that you have any reservations on.)

If you do get involved of your own free will make sure you read the Disclosures, the ToS, and have the cahones to take responsibility for your own actions.

Cheers.

Sorry for your trouble. Sad Are you pursuing a refund from Yifu now that he's trying to peddle his g2 stuff? He always seems to behave when he wants to bring new hardware to market.

Thanks for keeping the community apprised of the situation.

Edit:
Quote
Well, it was a fun ride, but I've given up on BitSyncom providing the Avalon replacements or providing a credit for the Icarus shipped back to him, or making up for the lost Bitcoin revenue from the last ~5 months of mining revenue. I will never do business with Yifu again.
291  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Did i just get Fucked by BFL on: September 11, 2013, 03:06:53 PM
Why are all BFL rep posts mostly completely DOUBLETALK?

...because they're thieves and giving straight answers would make that moar obvious to moar people.
292  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bryan Micon's Butterfly Labs Scammer Investigation including Josh Zerlan on: September 11, 2013, 02:43:28 PM

26 complaints.

Quote
Customers have complained about delays in receiving pre-ordered products. The company has responded by stating that they do not issue refunds after the build process on the new product has begun. According to a letter sent to customers, refunds would no longer available after April 1, 2013. The company claims that nearly all backlogs will be processed by September 30, 2013.

The BBB is a joke. BFL simply cites their illegal no refund policy and the BBB just drops their "investigation".

...
This thread is hilarious.  You guys treat Ken's boss marketing the way little kids act when they walk in on their mom & dad having sex:  Everyone thinks it's eww gross, most find it too painful to even think about, and some are convinced that the whole thing's just a nightmare or nasty prank by the older kids & shit never happened.

Grow up.  Seek counseling.  Admit that's exactly what you bought into Cheesy   [bitgoatse.gif]

This must be American thing. And that fear of a females nipple, you guys have, makes no sense too. I guess that's why you guys have to overcompensate by producing and consuming most porn per capita in the world. LOL

So, Little crumbs, how is your mental health after you went all pixel perfect on goatse for at least 10 minutes and redesigned Kens front page image (I must admit, it was funny, see few pages back). BTW Crumbs,  do you know this shit is burned into your memory forever. Enjoy your flashbacks, asshole! Wink
I bet you had or going to have loads of "fun" at your shrink from now on. Take your meds and be happy, like a true cheerleader.

EskimoBob, fisting helping u guys is hard, thankless work -- we, The Patriotic Americans, fortify ourselves with plenty of pr0nz to do it right.

  Love and cab fare home,

Hi freedomno1. I'm a bit lost, as we don't have any Avalon chips or Klondikes on order.

We have Bitfury rigs on order for October delivery.

Cheers.

No my apologies I saw avalon news and was like wait we had avalons in the Basic thread ha-ha
This one is my mistake

Cheers.

No worries, I'm just keeping abreast of changes in hardware availability. Gen2 upgrade modules for our nine Avalons would be an interesting proposition, but they'd have to be priced aggressively and available for immediate delivery in the near future to be compelling.
295  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: September 11, 2013, 01:00:36 PM
Doesn't this: Due to delays we are now offering full refund in bitcoin for all the Avalon Generation One orders made on any date, It is advise for people to request refunds due to the delay and raise of bitcoin difficulty. apply to our Third batch Avalon, which was pre-ordered?

Hi JimiQ84. I'd think not as we received our batch 3 pre-order on August 5, though certainly if Yifu wants to send us a refund as well to compensate for the delay then I won't complain too strenuously. I believe the newsletter was referring to bulk chip sales and trade-ins. Programs with which we, fortunately, had no part in.

The revised contract is available for review since september 7 (see motion on BTC-TC) and currently has +70% approval. All shareholders received a separate email for that and a link that highlights those changes ( http://www.diffchecker.com/j0dofqjs ).

Sneaky contract edit that went unnoticed then.

kthnx.
