281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoin replacement for SIM cards? on: January 01, 2015, 11:03:59 AM

One day when time comes, and mobile phones, tablets and other devices will no longer need SIM cards to operate, will it be because of a Bitcoin replacement found?

The blockchain might be too slow for this Tongue
Awesome idea though, would definitely change the world of bitcoin after this.
282  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 100,000 satoshi to the first 8 people who test my site. on: January 01, 2015, 11:02:10 AM
Wow, 0.001 BTC for testing out your site which takes 30 minutes of our time is insane.
You might want to offer atleast 10 times more.
283  Economy / Digital goods / Re: how to run multiple Hitleap viewers in 1 pc on: December 31, 2014, 10:28:35 PM
A lot of people are selling hitleap accounts with minutes.
Whats the advantage of it ? and why does the account have value ?
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you have .4 BTC I can make you an extra quick .03 BTC no strings attached on: December 31, 2014, 10:27:11 PM
No takers yet. Yes it expires tomorrow. Like I said I'd hate for it to go to waste, I just can't get any more BTC until next week. Send me a pm if you want the wallet info and would be willing to give me .02 after I give you the info. Thanks.

(Again the wallet is on blockchain so I can pm you the info to take wallet)

I am in. I am interested in buying the wallet. I will pay you 0.025BTC Smiley

I am curious that if you buy the wallet, then won't he still have access to the private key ?
which might allow him to move the funds out ?
285  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] OnePlus One on: December 31, 2014, 07:18:57 PM
Its cheaper on Aliexpress or Alibaba.

There they cost 230£

Are you sure they are the original ones ? They might be advertised to be, but how do we ensure some part might not have been switched ?
I have had that problem with a playstation I ordered 2 years back (not from aliexpress) .
286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best dice site to invest in. on: December 31, 2014, 07:16:34 PM
Let me suggest its satoshibet. Its a good site I ever see and used to play every time I gets bored my btc hahaha lol. I think no dice site will give you profit. All are scammed site and you always loose your btc.
First time you will earn some then you invest more and you loose all your btc then

That's the happy endings of your all btc that you made.

ENJOY 2015 DEAR FRIENDS

Thanks

I think satoshi bet is not an investment site.
You calalways try bitdice and coinichiwa which is a great new site.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google is blocking me from searching for terms that have Bitcoin in them. on: December 31, 2014, 11:06:12 AM
What browser are you using?

Standard version of Chrome.

I have had that problem with TOR , but never with bitcoin. You might have an IP changing problem./Dynamic IP might be giving issues.
Can you check if you IP is the same in a gap of an hour?
288  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where can I buy silver/gold with BTC? on: December 31, 2014, 11:05:08 AM
Add this to the list of sites that accept Bitcoin for Gold purchases:

http://www.coinabul.com/

This site is also another consideration to use Bitcoin for Gold and Silver:

http://www.bitgild.com/
Have you tried the bitgild site? I have heard of it before but never tried it.
Might do now, that the price is falling.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I invested in bitcoin on: December 31, 2014, 12:44:16 AM
A lot of villages in Africa are without electricity how are they gonna pay with bitcoin  Huh
I think that for at least 5 years bitcoin won't be mainstream in Africa.
Along with electricity, don't they also need an internet connection for bitcoin transactions ?
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governor of the central bank of India is speaking positively on Bitcoin on: December 31, 2014, 12:43:27 AM
This is great. If BTC can spread to more populous countries like India/China than it's sure to grow.

Its already wide spread in China. Not sure about India. I think the major factor has been the volatility that steers people away.
291  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you have .4 BTC I can make you an extra quick .03 BTC no strings attached on: December 31, 2014, 12:41:19 AM
Whoever plans to use this should do this with an escrow. Also make some dust bets before making the big bet of 0.4 btc at any payout.
292  Economy / Goods / Re: Group buy for Trezor Hardware wallet - Interested? on: December 31, 2014, 12:38:28 AM
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in starting/joining a group buy from a trezor hardware wallet.  They offer bulk discounts starting from 11 pieces, but I doubt it'll be a very good one; we'll probably need to order more than that.  I'm just wondering here, who's interested?  If enough people are willing to pool our money together, then I'll try to start a group buy, if I'm able to... if not, hopefully someone else Smiley

Cheers,
monbux

If you're interested, please state the number of wallets you are looking to buy, as well as in what price range you are looking for (I can't guarantee anything).

Current List:
monbux - 1
Just Magicmann - 2 or 3
Dogedigital - 1
master-P - 1

Total: 5 or 6

There was actually a pretty good christmas deal on it.
You guys should have grabbed it then .

294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar -- is it? on: December 31, 2014, 12:29:13 AM
By looking at the chart, you will see that stellar is trending higher while bitcoin is getting lower each day. Stellar has broken away from every other coin because it is unique. If it's going up while everything else is going down, it will only go up faster if everything else goes up..

has there been any major upgrade from stellar after the launch?
I see the wallet can be used for other currencies, but still its lacking any big upgrades.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when altcoin will be all dead? on: December 31, 2014, 12:27:50 AM
People sold thousands of Bitcoins for a few dollars, when they could have had millions by waiting 3 years.  But did they learn anything from that?  Are they holding any altcoins long-term?  No, they just say "Altcoins will never be as big as Bitcoin."

Bitcoin is still nothing to 99.9% of the world's population, so it wouldn't take much for another coin to surpass it.

But people are slow to learn.  Bitcoin's price increased from less than $0.01 to over $300.00 in 5 years, and it's stayed above $300 for over a year.  But people still talk about it "crashing", because it's "only $300".  Yes, it's 3 times less than it was last year, but it's 100 times more than it was 2 years ago.  But the crowd is always big and easy to follow, so they buy high and sell low, and they give an altcoin 6 months and dump it even though it's already worth 10 times more than Bitcoin was worth at 6 months.

What does it take for a cryptocurrency to skyrocket?  Continued existence, and not much else.  It's built-in.  More people are getting into crypto every day, and every coin will get some of those new users unless the coin stops working.

Its probably lack of patience to hold the altcoin for 3 years . Most of the altcoins don't have a definite future, and its like gambling.
One person holding the coin, wouldn't do him any good by the time everyone has dumped. Bitcoin was new, so people were ambiguos about it.
296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Daily 0.1 - 1.5 BTC win from Dice site & strong headache to Dice admin/owner on: December 31, 2014, 12:13:30 AM
I think the risk is not too big, but reaching profit 0.1 BTC with base 1 satoshi and chance 49.95% it will take very very long time.
You better decrease the chance to 39.96%, so you will get rich faster  Smiley

I think no one continues long enough with the 1 satoshi bets . Once they start seeing, that they aren't getting more than 10-12 losses, they increase their bet size.
And in this process the opposite happens.
297  Economy / Services / Re: In less than 1 Month, Our Faucet Paid For Itself - Now Making $600 A Month on: December 31, 2014, 12:10:47 AM
You won't find this hard to believe, but having a 25 million satoshi jackpot once a month draws some pretty insane traffic! Bitcoin faucets are great access points for those that want bitcoin, but can't mine it. We have traffic from all over the world, averaging about 35,000 page views a day. Bigger faucets, like moonbit.co.in average over 500,000 and they are make great revenue...far more than us! But we are younger, so only time will tell. WE like our trajectory, though!

I am not sure actually how many obtain bitcoin that ways. It might be fun to visit a faucet site and have some fun around,
but using it to earn bitcoin is the slowest way to do so.
298  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Dice Casino Script Featuers on: December 31, 2014, 12:08:59 AM
I am in the process of developing a really complex and fully featured dice script but I want some ideas on what to add to it.
I have the basic faucet, chat, invest, and provably fair features but I want to know what the community would want to see in a dice casino or script that they would purchase. I would like to make this as best as possible and am open to all ideas so don't be afraid to share them here.
Thanks
(All people who post a well thought idea will receive 50% off the script when it is completed)
Maybe, instead of having just a dice script you could add other games like Blackjack on it.
I like the concept of bitdice, like they have bitaces too.
299  Economy / Securities / Re: construction project Brazil on: December 31, 2014, 12:01:50 AM
Hello !

I`m doing a little searching and try to find some people who are interested in construction, building and financing.
I invested in Pbmining about 42BTC and never get this back and don`t know if Pbmining will sink or not and that`s why I`m starting to make my own projects.
My plan is to find a total amount of 60 BTC to start the first project here in Brazil (and max. 25 persons).

-profits will come from selling the houses and from mining

-this is a long term investment not a (money today project)

-profits will start in 6months (because I will do construction project first and with these profits will be bought some mining hardware to get monthly payments.

-Total of 25 shares and 1 share is 2.5BTC total amount of 62.BTC

anu questions so PM me or email: btcinvestments@mail.com

You should add details to what kind of construction is it? Without a real world identity
no one will send any money without guarantees or without knowing you.

Got a 25$ gift card, need to know some sites asap so i can buy some BTC
One thing you can do is buy some amazon coupon or something, and then trade it for BTC.
