I don't think that many users who got account hacked used simple passwords. The problem that many people are using same passwords pretty much everywhere. And if one website get hacked or sell login data of their users, hacker just need to try enter same login data on bitcointalk and voilaAnd another reason why there are so many hacked accounts - phishing website Interesting. Thank you for the explanation. And how are the hacked accounts discovered? Only administrators can view the IP change or? Because I posted in my second thread probably hacked/bought accounts - swicth language, time gap and still they aren´t tagged, how DT moderators evaluate what is hacked/bought and what is not? |

Thank you guys! I am changing my password regularly to prevent hack, but I can´t regularly change my private key  . But also do you know how hackers steal accounts? And how moderators find that the account is hacked? Because I see many red tagged hacked accounts. For me it is very interesting because I did not believe in malwares, hacker attacks until I used Bitcoin and Bitcointalk forum  The owner signs the address of that specific account to prove ownership and get red trust on it. Accounts can also be locked by using the change password link in your email. You can change private keys regularly if you particularly want to also, just make a new address, it won't do much but still. Hackers can steal accounts in many ways. There are ways to get hold of hashed account passwords and bruteforcing them to find users with simple passwords, like if someone uses the password "password" which, if they do, they deserve their account to be stolen IMO then that can be found in that way. No one will tag unless you provide eth or token transaction between them or any other strong evidences. Only registered or joined on bounty same date it dose not mean they are connected. Language switch, poor quality of posts, almost same posts, only in turkish, everything is okay, right? |

As you can see, it is not enough to prove that the account is bought or hacked. But I would like to know, if someone buy Legendary member, changes email, password and woke up from a long period of inactivity - it is considered as a hacked or bought account? Will you tagg the account? Because I see many tagged legendaries for this ... But member accounts are not in your interest? |

is this baounty still running  ?? is this baounty still running ?? and when token will be distributed it us over almost 2 months ago and 50 % of bounty will be paid in october and other 50 % in april 2019. so now we just waiting for the rest spreadsheets, as i remember only signature and facebook spreadsheets are available so for facebook campaigns and signature campaigns still running I did not get a 50% reward for bounty. For twitter and facebook reward? In relation to people, the project was very unattractive, the authority was undermined. Unlike previous time , ETH has not performed very well. ETH now going between 600-800$ , but we expect 1500$ above before the year end.
EOS and ADA is the main Competitors to the ETH. may be your opinion different, lets discuss.
ETH is doing better than Bitcoin, it is more stable, and for me and many people it is better when coin is more stable than pump and dump coin. |
