Do you mean that we'll have predictions such as "The Bitcoin rate will be above X at time Y"? Sounds like a tool completely unsuited for the task...
but if that is really what you are looking for: http://betsofbitco.in/listWell intrade is the largest predictions market currently so I think it would be an added benefit to also have bitcoins traded on their exchange.

Could you give a bit more explaination of how that would work exactly?
Maybe have a daily contract like they have for the dow: http://www.intrade.com/v4/markets/contract/?contractId=755518Or you could have a contract that says: Bitcoin price to close ON or ABOVE $6 on 31 Jan 2012 If event occurs, contract expires at $10, otherwise contract expires at $0. Do you mean that we'll have predictions such as "The Bitcoin rate will be above X at time Y"? Sounds like a tool completely unsuited for the task...
It's not a perfect hedge, but it's a binary option which can be used to hedge some risk exposure.

I really think if we have enough recommendation, we can get a bitcoin market on intrade. Intrade is an established exchange and can be used to hedge your bitcoin exposure with binary options. I made the following post in their forum: https://bb.intrade.com/intradeForum/forums/show/11.pagePlease support my post if your a member of intrade, thanks!

Another fun one: This one starts off as 1 Bitcoin. Each bid adds .01 Bitcoin to final Bitcoin payment. So for instance, if the final auction price is $0.05, then 1+.01*5=1.05 Bitcoins will be paid out. If final auction prices is $2.50, then 1+.01*250=3.5 bitcoins will be paid out. Check out auction here: http://www.mokimarket.com/auction_details/570

This definitely needs to be addressed Perhaps the creators of this forum were thinking this would ensure a minimum level of intellegence in their users...it took me about a week to figure out!

Hi, I would normally post on your forum about issues pertaining to mokimarket, but my login doesn't seem to work anymore (on the forum) Anyways, I received 101 credits but it says " Credits from transfer from naypalm". When I check my sold auction items, they all say Pending ( Awaiting Payment). Also when clicking on buyers shipping info, all i see is their name and a single comma where their address should be. Please Help Hi you should automatically be logged in to mokimarket forum when you login to the site. Anyhow I sent you a private message as well. You winner purchased item the wrong way; instead of going through checkout process in "auctions won" tab, he simply transferred credits to your account for payment. In order for you to receive proper commission payout, he should go through checkout process and he also needs to add his address info to receive item. I would recommend sending a note to the winner; you can do this from the "auctions completed" tab. Just transfer the credits back to him and request that he send them again the correct way. Let me know if this helps.

Ok how many bidders do you actually have participating on this site? You have to buy credits to bid (which is wacky), but I cant find any info on how much credits cost. This seems pretty strange.
No you don't have to buy anything, purchasing credits is optional and 1 credit=$0.01. It's a bartering site so you post items for free, earn credits from bids placed on that item, and use the credits to bid on other items. You only buy credits if you aren't going to post anything, but you never need to buy anything to use the site.
