Maybe market owners should also be allowed to require vendor bonds and set the bond amount?

As an example, say I put up 10,000 CRAVE collateral and open a market.

I name it Arctic Pyramid.  I am allowed to upload a small 256x256 logo for my market.  I decide to set my combined fully loaded fee at 3% per transaction between buyer and vendor.

I setup my categories, specify my escrow stealth address and my encrypted messaging support address and open for business.

Vendor X, goes in the wallet and browses the markets and decides to place his listing in Arctic Pyramid.  He chooses a category and lists his product or service with all the details.

Buyer Z, goes in the wallet and browses the available markets, and selects the Arctic Pyramid market, and finds Vendor X's listing and places an order.

He creates a 2-of-3 multi-sig transaction containing the amount of the product or service and the market fee and sends it to the vendor, who signs it, and sends it to a key derived from the market stealth address.

After some auto-timeout period the market node will auto-sign and release the funds to the vendor, unless the buyer opens a dispute before the timeout period expires.  Or, the buyer could choose to sign and release the funds before the timeout expires and close out the transaction.

After a transaction is successfully closed out the buyer and vendor may leave feedback for each other (similar to how localbitcoins works).

Maybe Vendor Y goes in the wallet and makes a listing for a product or service that I disallow or don't approve of.  I can choose to block the listing, as part of my responsiblity as a market owner to be a curator.

Maybe when I open Arctic Pyramid I decide it is going to be only for art and my fee will be 15% because I provide concierge-level service through my encrypted messaging support address.  And so I aggressively curate my market to make sure it is always clean with only high quality works of art, and I make sure to respond fast to customers through the support address and give them the VIP treatment.  (I don't know anything about art actually, so maybe that's a bad example, but you get the idea).

how much are cravenodes, and where do you buy them?
You don't "buy" them, but you put up some crave as collateral and that enables it.  Right now I am looking at 500 CRAVE collateral to open an adrenaline node and 10,000 CRAVE collateral to open an adrenaline market.  Adrenaline node then earns you denomination fees.  Adrenaline dnm earns you whatever % escrow/trade fees you set.

Just curious dev, when you port the Masternodes will it be like Dark where it requires a X  number of coins to operate one?
Yes.  And we will probably make it relatively expensive so it represents a real commitment...maybe 500 CRAVE...still thinking of a good #.  Also thinking it will be restricted to only work over TOR.

Well we delivered 4 out of the 6 things on the 1st roadmap, with the rest next week plus a mobile staking wallet.  Wallet runs good now with secp256k1, nice fast staking, loads fast.  2nd roadmap after all on 1st is out.

I found an issue on win7 64bit, when you close the wallet the process crave-qt remains active and has to be killed manually.
This happens when you encrypt the wallet and in the normal close.

Anyone else has this issue?
Sometimes it will take a short while to completely shut down after you click the close button.  It is because it is waiting for the IRC seeding thread and the other background threads to stop on their own.  Generally it shuts down pretty fast, every once in awhile if its in the middle of something it might take a short bit.

Updated the d/l links.  This update has the transaction validation cache, as well as updated wallet design with a Tor vs. Clearnet indicator in the upper right  Shocked Oh and I added a flowpanel to the overview page like responsive website.

I thought industrialcoinmagic was the dev, he's the one with the OP, the one with the coding skills by the looks of it, the one posting the updates and the one with the original tweets about crave.
That is correct.  The community has quickly started to self-organize.  A few cravers have stepped up and have been helping to get the word out there etc.

I implemented the tx validation cache.  Putting some more useful features in.  Will be another optional wallet update soon.  Also testing the DarkPool/BLUR setup.  Counterparty is a nice protocol but not stable  Huh and annoying to work with with all these different python scripts and daemons.  So I grabbed another fork of counterparty to work off of which is working out a lot better.  Cleansing it of all external service links to google & country blacklists.

done.

if the price hit 50k sats, the marketcap is only 260BTC.
and right now, the marketcap is only 110BTC.
and people has not realized the full potential of CRAVEcoin.

can anybody ask coinmarketcap add Cravecoin?

here if the info:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=199685.0

but they need a website?
can dev set up a website for cravecoin?
or give us a cravecoin donation address?
would like to donate some cravecoin. thanks
I submitted the coinmarketcap form the other night Smiley

Thanks!
Added donation address to the OP.  Any donations to that address will be staked and used for bounties and infrastructure.  Thanks!

Updated with Only Once tx broadcasting!

what's does this mean? and how can we use this features?

Thank you.
By default Bitcoin will rebroadcast your wallet transactions to the network forever until it gets into a block, with some code to try to time skew it or stagger it a little.  In Bitcoin where you have 10 minute block times etc. this feature is supposed to help ensure propagation of your transaction in the mempool so it makes it into a block.  But it was shown that you could abuse this feature to isolate what tx's are coming from who, because only the sender's node does this rebroadcasting over and over again.  In Crave we have 60 second block times, optimizations, etc. so propagation shouldn't be much of an issue to start with.  So we removed this feature, and your transactions will only be relayed once to the network from your node.

You can read some discussion about this here:

I know there's a long list - o - bugs, just wanted to put this out there; it seemed surprising that you could induce a very long period of 'beaconing' from the qt client just by sending it an unlikely to be mined transaction in which it has an economic stake.
(Emphasis added).  This beaconing is what we removed.

Github and Download links updated in OP.

This update has libsecp256k1 implemented, only once tx broadcasting implemented, and a bugfix on reindexaddr so it defaults to false.

is this mandatory?
Nope, its another optional feature release.  The benefit of libsec is that it is 8x faster than the old way.  Only Once Tx broadcasting is also a little more privacy oriented.

Darkpool/Blur

underground colored coins and tor hidden service wallet

30 day burn period CRAVE->BLUR. 5 CRAVE to 1 BLUR

So will we have a colored coin based CRAVE Blockchain?

Similar as XCP based Bitcoin Blockchain?

then people can release digital asset in the darknet?

Thanks.
Yes

so are you confirming this ?
Yes.  Building servers, will release onion address and start burn period this weekend after testing.

nice, cant wait for this, it would be great if you make a picture of road-map and more in depth info to give everyone a chance to know what is this about  Grin

thanks great dev!

ETA on pimped out OP for "credibility" and eye candy? Cheesy

Also, great job on the new releases dev!
I just mined this for the lulz, but I'm actually surprised and impressed.
Working... soon!  And roadmap, which includes BLUR.  What is BLUR and DarkPool?  You find out soon Tongue

can you give me more info about that 40MB blocksize?
is that the big blocksize proposed by bitcoin chief scientist Gavin Anderson?
For BitTorrent, the biggest blocksize is 32M, how can we ensure that 40M blocksize?
how can let people use this coin? in the darknet? Grin

Thanks!
2x the 20mb original proposed for btc.  Gavin's proposal was for a sliding range/dynamic block size that increases over time.

but can we ensure that 40MB blocksize be Error free transmission with current Internet bandwidth by P2P node?

i know BitTorrent is cutting big file to many smaller files,,and the maximal MB for a file is 32MB after been cut?

Thank you for your patience.
The actual block size doesn't present a big issue for transmission...the P2P networking stack in Bitcoin uses a 5MB receive buffer and a 1MB send buffer IIRC.

What is a issue is processing time, especially with PoS coin.  But, there are tweaks that can be done to optimize this, and I know what they are Wink

Of course, this is only problem if coin is used with a lot of transaction volume.  No alt coin that I know of has even begun to approach issues with the normal 1MB block size or get into the same ballpark as bitcoin.  Maybe that will change Cheesy
