ok one more question which brand of RX480 will give me good hashrate like ASUS or GIGABYTE OR SAPPHIRE
Sapphire is the best I think. So many people including me use them here. They're cheaper, have a good cooling, a nice aspect (might be worthless to some but not to me) and have ball-bearing fans that will make them last longer. for 6 RX480 which PSU sufficient? RX 480 has a TDP of 150W, so 6x150=900. To be sure, I would at least take a 1000W, of at least a golden efficiency. However, I do strongly recommend a 1200W one, or two 750W is the best for me. That would allow you some spikes and some overclocking. thanks again bro should i go with 750+650 PSU or 650+650 because i need to lower my invesment 650+650 is far enough my friend. Do however take care of taking a good efficiency PSU, since from bronze to gold, you're saving 10% off on the electrical bill ! However, I tend to prefer the RX 470. Could you tell me why you prefer to go with RX 480s ? so u mean i go with RX470? which one 4GB or 8GB how much hashrate i willget from 470? I'm not saying you to go with RX 470. Maybe you have good reasons with RX 480. Could you please tell me why you chosed those ones ? Do you have an high electricity rate ?

Waiting for GPU miner
Not me ! What make the coin so profitable is its secretness and that I can run it parallely to my GPU operations. But you know that u and me have more GPU's than CPU's And everyone has that configuration. More people with more GPUs means that you'll get less per day and that's bad for both of us. I's good for price having gpu miner. will reach 0.1 Think....everyone have a cpu(pc doesn't work without), not everyone have mining gpu's. More diffi rise, more price rise. So, when gpu start to mine and diff encrease a lot, everyone get less and zcoin became more difficult to mine, and rare, and moon. Current price 0.003 is very low. better buy than mine at this price. I'm very satisfied of what I'm getting now. Look, I get as much if not more worth of BTC with my three CPUs than with my 5 GPUs. However, yes, someday, we'll need more people to make the price rise. But the accumulation phase should last longer. You know, you're too optimistic. If we ever break the 0,01 BTC cap, that would be very awesome.

So for now, I have a 970 and 1070 in a rig. I'm getting 420 MH/s from those two, at around 260W. Does someone has ideas to improve this without damaging the cards with too much OC or running them at near no electrical cost but to get pennies ?
420MH? I'm sure you meant 42. but you can try undervolting and overclocking. you can also mod them and switch the BIOS. Oh my bad ! I forgot to state that it was on LBRY. It seems I though it was evident, but it isn't. I'm looking for precise value for the overcloking and the undervolting. I can easily increase the hashrate by 10%, but the underclocking part isn't working. GPU-Z still gives me the same TDP use.

Question about reference card, do they are noisy like the 290 was?
No, I doubt they are. The design improved a lot and two years passed. The better is still to ask whom posses one.

If you are not going to change a BIOS, you are denying yourself quite much of performance boost. With factory BIOS it will be 22Mh/s for 4gb vs. 24Mh/s for 8gb version. Still, i would vote for 4gb reference model.
Difference of hashrate was bigger than the difference of price, so I finally opted for the 8 Gb version. Thank you for your help ! By the way, changing BIOS, if easy enough, is not a no-go option for me.

If price difference is greater than 10% then take ref 470 4gb, with proper bios you will go up to 27-28Mh/s ETH with no problems.
Price difference is 13~15%. Which one should it take then ? I've never changed the BIOS, so I'm not sure I'll know how to do it properly.

120 confirmations for this coin ...on supernova all nigth nothing in confirmed .... @ocminer fix that and set much lower vardiff ...this is not gpu coin man...and we have another option to mine on pool.mn but this pool is to slow ...
Block time is 10 minutes, I can't do anything about confirmations but I'll add a low diff port for you guys Edit : if you just wait a bit after you've connected vardiff automatically turns your diff down btw I second that port. The problem on my Celerons is fixed. They just needed a very long time to turn in because of the high entry difficulty I think.

I'm planning to buy a couple of RX 470 to replace my old R9 380s. I was wondering if the VRAM quantity had any importance. Thank you by advance !

No, sorry to break you dreams, but such a jewel do not exist. ASICs are a pretty dead market you know.

any bounty dev translation, facebook campaign , twitter campaign, personal tex campaign avatar campaign or signature campaign
No there's not all of these. They're only need in shitcoins and in promotional ICOs and you have none of them here. That's one of the reasons the coin is that much appreciated.

On my i5-3570k, the miner rocks, but on my G1820 and G1840, though load is at 100%, I never get further than the yellow difficulty line. Could someone please help me ? My rigs with dual core keep saying stratum_recv_line failed, stratum connection interrupted, and dont show on the pool. On my personal pc, fx6100 its working nice. Watching for fix too. What's your cmdline? Using the default for all rigs. cpuminer -a lyra2rev2 -o stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:5595 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password Looks good, maybe try xzc-stratum.suprnova.cc but the other should be fine too Unfortunatelly same problem with the change. That's exactly what I'm getting on my screen. The xzc-stratum option did not resolved my problem, so I'm now waiting for some other idea.

My CPU miner is getting accepted shares but says it is running at 0.00 kH/s. Anyone else have this problem?
My i5-3570k is saying me the same. Don't take care of this, and take into account what the pool says you. ocminer, I'll try that.

That's exactly the error I'm getting mate ! And like you, I have the standard command line. Do note that I got two consecutive shares on the G1840 like ten minutes ago, but nothing showed up again.
