281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future Of Bitcoin on: February 15, 2017, 11:15:40 PM
I don't get it how people on this forum can make such insane claims such as bitcoin hitting such a high all time high, not only will this never happen people on the forum have to understand that if they want bitcoin to be accepted it's going to have to sit around the price it is now. No one is going to adopt a currency like bitcoin that has such a high change rate per day.

Crazy claim, insane bullshit bud, NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

Well, I think it's really good speculation. bitcoin, ever not have a price, and this time, the price of bitcoin becomes very high. I also believe, the future price of bitcoin will be very high, and it might just as you predicted. but for now, the price of bitcoin really stable at $ 1000 price

$1000ish price is the area that I think bitcoin should and will sit at, hoping for it to stay so it can gain mass adoption.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it profitable to run a Bitcoin faucet in 2017 on: February 15, 2017, 11:00:22 PM
Would highly doubt it would be a profitable venture based on the sheer fact of the amount of bitcoin faucets there are in the small bitcoin community at the moment (probably thousands) and the inability for people to use google adsense which was paying them a pretty hefty amount for ads on the site.

Now you're stuck using some bitcoin specific ad company which only pays a fraction of what google adsense would pay, easily destroying your business.

If you are going only with faucet then its may be profitable as you want but if you will try to go with some unique idea like game or something else which is new then may be its give you some profit you can check freebitco.in its going with Hi Lo but surviving for long time

Unique idea is a must, if you're going to be doing some sort of faucet box or a generic site it'll never work so just don't try it.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Idea for a method of more privately buying/selling BTC on: February 15, 2017, 10:29:07 PM
It seems possible but still rather complicated with so many steps and conditions. Isn't it easier to find some trader on localbitcoins and make the business? You can buy bitcoins there pretty anonimously, at least with traders in my country and the transactions are quick and simple.

Yeah, I've read through this entire thing and it would help with anonymity on the site itself and for the buyers and sellers but it would just cause unneeded work and confusion for people why just want to get a simple trade done. Plus, on a site like Paxful and LBC most traders are only going to want the AMZN card itself and confirmation it was bought with cash.

A simple receipt can confirm the card was bought with cash and you're done, no need to go through any crazy ideas and such. Only thing you're going to be opening up to lose anonymity is your IP address.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to purchase my first bit coin, need advice on: February 15, 2017, 10:23:33 PM
You should probably link us to the app you're going to be using on your mobile device, so we're able to see what your wallet is really like. I personally have never heard of it so I would recommend using a wallet from either Blockchain.info or BitGo (Little more on the experienced site for BitGo though)

You give the seller your ADDRESS from the bitcoin wallet when you go ahead and attempt to buy bitcoins, address' are used for pretty much everything on here when it comes to receiving bitcoin.

Spend two weeks reading as much as you can (in your free time) to educate yourself about Bitcoin, how it works, how to secure your private keys, etc., before you actually acquire any bitcoins.

If you do that well, you won't need to ask for any more advice.

The most important "rule" in my opinion: If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.

When you are confident that you can explain the above "rule", in detail, to someone else, then you might consider buying some bitcoins.

Going to have to fully agree with this though, if you don't really know how any of this works it's kind of waste and getting your coins stolen are probably going to be rather easy.
285  Economy / Exchanges / Anyone use GDAX and want to share their experience? on: February 15, 2017, 09:10:13 PM
I've been using GDAX through Coinbase for probably around a week now and it seems nice, but I know Coinbase always has some issues relating to them in regard to customer service and such. Could someone who uses GDAX shed some light on if the service is good or if Coinbase is going to end up fucking me if I do well with day trading on their site.

I only trade a couple hundred bitcoin a day and with bitcoins volatility it's possible to make money, I just don't want to end up having to deal with their customer service or anything like that.
286  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Anyone doing Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies course on coursera? on: February 15, 2017, 03:11:41 PM
I've heard from many sources that Coursera is really just a big waste of money, and some of the reviews I was reading for the company was pretty horrible. I guess people only make bad reviews cause thats when they care but, eh these could be legit.

Consumer Affairs - https://www.consumeraffairs.com/education/coursera.html - 1.5 Stars

Could probably learn a lot more about cryptocurrenices through YouTube, this forum, and other resources readily available through one simple google search.
287  Economy / Services / Re: Ads on my porn website. 200 USD for 1 million views on: February 15, 2017, 12:23:42 PM
Offering discounts on the header and side bars. Ping for information

Would you be able to share the conversion rate on the last campaigns / any campaigns people have done on your site? That would prove vital to me and anyone else who is really looking into buying an ad on the site.

I confirmed the amount of traffic with similarweb though, nice site bud, you've built it well.
288  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would you rather use Paxful or LocalBitcoins and why? on: February 15, 2017, 11:51:54 AM
localbitcoin for me, it's more known than paxful and more trustworthy, but still you need to pay attention to scammers and federal agent that seek for people that operate without the right license for money transmitting

Wouldn't that also stand true for LBC? It's not like the buyers and sellers (mostly sellers) don't have to adhere to federal law / KYC laws relating to currency exchange, I would think it wouldn't matter what exchange you're on when it comes to this.

I heard the whole Paxful CEO being arrested was a hoax too, don't remember where I saw it though.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Will Supersede The Eintire Financial System ? on: February 15, 2017, 05:49:43 AM
Only one man knows it, how Bitcoin will supersede the entire financial system with Blockchain technology ? and he is the real inventor of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto; A macro economist, digital scientist and social engineer.

Any body can answer to this question and get enlisted to get a bounty of BTC100 BTC.

Real answer, bitcoin won't do this and anyone that tries to tell you on this site is going to be biased when it comes to what they're saying. People don't understand that going from normal paper fiat currency to bitcoin would be insane, that would be a change and a half for people.

People wouldn't support such a drastic change, plus the money you're trying to give out as a bounty is a good laugh for me.
290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Faucet Business on: February 15, 2017, 05:22:07 AM
I think the profit earned by accepting advertisements to your sites, also try reading this op https://99bitcoins.com/making-money-from-bitcoin-faucets-heres-what-ive-learned/

Business itself is completely saturated and when the guy from 99bitcoins was running a faucet he was able to use google adsense for a good amount of time, which allowed him to make a profit for sometime. Big problem at the moment is the fluctuation of price in bitcoin which could be the difference between profit and loss.

Avoid this at all costs OP, find a different venture.
291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how to get new referrals? on: February 15, 2017, 04:55:48 AM
Could try to offer people some sort of compensation in order to sign up under you, the demand is going to have to be present for the service (cloud mining) in order to easily gain referrals.

Best thing to do is to talk about the advantages on here and write a little piece up with your ref link to gain some more money from them, it won't be much though conversion rate is probably going to be pretty low as most people don't trust those scamming companies.
292  Economy / Service Discussion / Best bitcoin wallet to stake an address with on: February 15, 2017, 04:26:54 AM
At the moment I'm a user of BitGo, which doesn't allow me to sign and verify with my address' so I wanted to know if anyone could make a recommendation on the best wallet to do this with so I can stake an address on this account in case anything was to happen to it.

Thanks!
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of people that treat Bitcoin solely as an investment? on: February 15, 2017, 03:54:02 AM
They are smart people, I feel it's a very risky investment but if you're going to be watching it all day like any other stock and attempt to day trade on it it's still highly possible due to the fluctuating price on the daily basis.

Those who invested bitcoin in early time and holding it until now is totally smart man even they risk it to 100% yet it comes back with double money.
Because investing money in bitcoin makes great profit just in perfect time.

May not always stand true, what about the people that bought bitcoin at $1200? They're praying for a price new all time high

It would be quite ironic if I think bad of those people that look at bitcoin as an investment and nothing more. The reason why we all have bitcoins in our wallet instead of used it already is because we're all waiting for the price of bitcoin to increase. Because if we aren't, we should not be using bitcoins as all, not even as a payment method, because bitcoin isn't accepted at most places anyway.

We all are investors of bitcoin, regardless if you earned your bitcoins for free or not. We're not that different to the people that treat bitcoin as nothing but an investment.

I think OP is referring more to day traders and not real users of bitcoin at all except for profit purposes.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is no longer a currency on: February 14, 2017, 01:56:17 PM
More and more companies may be accepting bitcoin and joining other companies in growing numbers of people that do, but if you go ahead and ask random on the street if they know what bitcoin is they'll probably end up saying it's the drug currency with silk road or they just won't know anything about it. Bitcoins is one of the niche items which I've stated many times before, it's something that is going to need to go down in volatility before people consider it a safe investment.

I wouldn't say bitcoin is an investment at this point, it's an niche community with tons of followers.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Main Currency on: February 14, 2017, 01:59:48 AM
I don't know how people on this forum can keep making these claims when it comes to them thinking that bitcoin has the possibility to be able to become the main currency in a country, let alone the world. Even if Bitcoin ever got to that point, which I highly doubt it ever will, governments would never let people go ahead and use that instead of using the FIAT currency from the country in which they reside.

I personally agree if bitcoin be main currency. but, I feel that bitcoin main currency on the internet. for paypal or others are merely a payment processor, and cryptocurrency currency here on the internet, and bitcoin is the main currency in cryptocurrency

Let me change that for you bud, Bitcoin is the main used currency when it comes to this niche community and maybe a few select sites that accept it. Some places accept it in real life but you gotta get lucky on finding them.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: In which country is capitalism better implemented? on: February 14, 2017, 01:41:38 AM
capitalism... it's dying in the age of AI

why not think of something post-capitalism?

Capitalism is not dying in the least, Capitalism is the reason for all the innovation that occurs today based on the fact that for a company to survive and continue making money they must keep pumping out new innovative products and adapt. Capitalism is the most successful economical policy that works wonderfully in most parts of the world.

Don't get me wrong, Capitalism does have it faults when it comes to workers rights being abused and looked over when it comes to countries like China but that's something that can be fixed with government oversight.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i make Bitcoin/money from a third world country on: February 13, 2017, 11:44:55 PM
There are quite some easy ways of earning bitcoin online. Let me write them down for you.

1. Captcha solving services- Since you say you are at home then Megatypers, 2captchas should be a good start for you.
2. PTC sites that pays in bitcoin like btcclicks, coinad, bitvisitor etc
3. Facuetrotators - Check the micro earnings section of the forum.
4. Lately you can download the RAIBLOCK wallet herehttps://raiblockscommunity.net/ and solve captchas to earn MRAI-shttps://raiblockscommunity.net/faucet/, you can then exchange these for bitcoins.
5. If you have at least a GTX 950 graphic card you can mine LBRY or ZCASH with your PC as I guess electricity is very cheap in there.

These are if you do all to make about 5-6 USD per day in total, if you work for at least 8 hours, so I don't know if it's worth it or not. Anyway it's a good start for a beginner.

I know OP said he's from a foreign country, but I highly doubt for 8 hours of work in real life he wouldn't earn at least more then $5-6 which is a disgusting wage for the amount of typing and stuff you'd be doing on these sites. All these sites are micro-earnings and fun to fuck around with but shouldn't be fully use for a source of income.

If you're serious about earning money, offer a service or some sort of business to people in the services section as you can actually earn a nice side income if people like the service you're providing. Also, mining on cryptos are good but I highly doubt you have a good enough graphics card to be able to handle that.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Exchange Traded Funds? on: February 13, 2017, 11:21:38 PM
Too risky for something like this to be allowed for people to go ahead and invest in it, don't get me wrong I love the cause of bitcoin and everything it stands for. But the exchange rate is extremely volatile which will cause the ETF to be an extremely volatile one. Probably won't see many investors if the price is too volatile to hit the mainstream investing of retirement funds.

It just might not so big to most or not even be noticed by anyone that was not waiting for it to be approved in the first place.

People will notice it, if it's approved it will hit the news very fast and gain tons of early investors who don't really know much but would like to see if they can make a buck.Wish Bitcoin could work out when it comes to it's ETF but I highly doubt it.

299  Economy / Service Discussion / Would you rather use Paxful or LocalBitcoins and why? on: February 13, 2017, 07:39:58 PM
I've always been a user of Paxful but I've went on LBC a couple times, the two companies seem to have a good amount of similarities but Paxful seems more polished and easier to use. One thing on the other side is that LBC has a ton more people doing deals on the site, anyway on here that can shine some light on the positives for LocalBitcoins that make them such a popular pick over a nicer site with (probably) better customer support?

Thanks a ton guys.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Physical or Paper Gold? Why? on: February 13, 2017, 02:40:58 PM
I haven't really read into the laws surrounding the what seems to be the FDIC of golds in your country Turkey, but if that's true about having government insurance when you buy "paper" gold then buying that would be so much better than buying real solid gold. Don't get me wrong, I've said before on threads that I'd like to be able to hold what I'm investing in but if you can have insurance and a chance of theft being slim to none (unless government goes under) then you go with that option.

I think it is easier to do trading with paper gold, but somehow i prefer physical gold where i can touch and keep in any place i want, i feel more secure with physical gold, modern people now prefer storing their gold in paper gold because it is more efficient

Would be a bit more efficient depending on situation when it comes to paper gold, imagine having to secure millions in gold if that's an investment of yours? Or hundreds of millions and so on, paper gold could easily be more effective when it comes to these simple examples that are probably real.
