Can someone elabora on this next batch only accepting BCH at the end of January? https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201711201611548977G3AjqYh0686
<insert big frown>

Bitmain was the main of the very few supporters of BCH before and after the fork.

I read or heard about somewhere [rumors] that they are trying to centralize BCH by controlling (They sort of already do), so by accepting only BCH, they are sort of increasing demand on it by forcing buyers to buy BCH so they can buy Ant miners. At the same time, they would evetually end up with most of the market capital allowing them to make it scarce when they want to increase it's price, and abundant when they want to lower it's price... Not sure how accurate or true those rumors are, but it makes some sense to me... A lot of the BCH haters also hate Bitmin for that...

Salamu 3alaykom!

Please proof-read. No offence, but your translation needs some corrections!

Example:

Makes no sense: وتعلن عن الانضمام والبدء في تسليم   (Your translation says: You announce your membership and the beginning of collection)
Correct Translation should be something like: اعلن الانضمام و ابدا التسيم

Also usually in Arabic the usual wasy of saying "welcome to" is: "ahlan wasahlan fi", not "مرحبا بك في"

Another example is the last few lines:
إذا انخفض سعر بتكوين أقل من 9000 $، سوف تضيف 2 بتكوين آخر, إذا ارتفع على قيمته الحالية سنحافظ على 15 بيتكوين كما هي.
Although a bad translation, it also has a bad meaning. The above says: If Bitcoin price drops below $9000, you will add 2 more bitcoin. If it increases on the current price we will keep on 15 bitcoin as it is.
A correct translation would say: إذا انخفض سعر البتكوين الى أقل من 9000 $، سوف نضيف 2 بتكوين آخرا, إذا ارتفع علن قيمته الحالية نبقي المبلغ 15 بيتكوين كما هو.

Too many mistakes... I would have made more corrections, but I don't currently have an Arabic Keyboard.

If you are not a native speaker or at least Fluent in Arabic, you should leave the job for someone who is.

I used to mine pretty well with http://tomostasks.website/index.php?u=YOUR_BTC_ADDRESS

On my iPhone, iPad and MacBook and public PC because it was browser mining.

Yaaay, it works. I’m mining!  Grin         EDIT: on old iPad lol

Faucethub BTC address: 1HYyy3CZkxRfwYoGbhocEQZ6gLdPSP5W9M

Now I cannot anymore becaue .ZIP doesn't work on iOS, OS X, and cannot download on public PC

Anyway I can continue browser or CPU mining on these devices?

Just read the Dutch translation here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2528221 and it is totally bogus. Here are some examples: 'What is missing' has been translated as : 'Wat is er mis', but the meaning and translation of 'Wat is er mis' is literally 'What is wrong.' So you see that is has been completely mistranslated and given a totaly different meaning.
Moving on a bit and another mistranslation takes place: 'So much to gain. So little to invest.' has been translated as 'Zo veel om te krijgen. Zo weinig om te geven.' and the meaning of that one is 'So much to get. So less to give.' As you can see it has a completely different meaning. And lots of other mistranslations as well. As a native Dutch speaker I can tell you that even a first-grader could have done a better job.
And here I saw you mentioning that every translation will be checked and even proofread, but from what I see here this is not the case. Looks like another case of blowing hot air?

Hmm... I'm sure Ehrhc will be disappointed if that's the case... Thank's for checking and proofreading!  Wink

@Zandar Thank you, but as we checked, this is not one of the translations we approved and linked our Bounty to it! Maybe someone got excited and did it by themselves!

Whaaaaaaat Huh

So many people used to praise them and some even swear by them. I've seen many investors refusing to invest in ICO, until Bittrex approval of ICO. What a shame, if they turn out to be scammers indeed...  Undecided

I don't think they're scammer to say the least. I was having trouble just like everyone else but I tried again yesterday and it was approved in an hour. May be bad timing but what you gonna do. kyc is a new thing in every business these days and there is not much you can do about it. Support might be lagging due to amount of tickets they're receiving but if your documents and names match system approves it in no time. However, I don't speak for everyone.

Their execution of 'regulations' is garbage. The KYC is not new. They locked down damn near all the accounts to "fall in line" with the regs. No, they could have phased it in like most places do.

There is NO excuses for Bittrex and how poorly they have and are handling this mess.

Maybe they had to do it because of threats of their "domain getting seized by FBI" if the don't comply ASAP like what happened with btc-e.com Huh

Wow, that's the most amazing strategy!

Yes.

The most amazing strategy to lose it all, it's called martingale.
You are so lucky with 18 rolls, it could be up to 22 rolls you will lose everything .

I barely dare play with 47.50% win chance. If I tried 20% win chance, I would probably pee miself a little between the third and fourth bet  Grin

lol it's funny how we squeeze our brain to reverse engineer the formula whereas the admin could simply make it public it on the website  Grin

He did say he wanted to keep it secret so the bot abusers found it more difficult to get around. So if you get it right and publish it here you can expect it to change probably making it more difficult to avoid captcha.

Oh, well, I didn't know that, so it's possibile that he changes periodically therefore it's even useless to try and guess it Smiley

LOL. I was actually thinking of something similar. The guy that mentioned his captcha kept coming on and off? What if that was an effect of wetsuit playing around, testing and changing the captcha activation rules while we were trying to figure out how it works?   Tongue Grin

He could probably do that just to screw with has us and have a laugh!

291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin cloud mining on: December 05, 2017, 01:11:15 AM
I don't see any advantage of cloud mining as it is not profitable nowadays, you may be promoting the hashnest cloud mining service but how can you be sure that it is reliable and how sure are you that it is stable when all people knows that this type of investment just have the same intention to bitcoin users .

I don't know if you tried cloud mining but users here are making profit actually.
It's reliable because we are promising you to deliver you the miners when the miners are not making profit here.
It's stable because we are promising that all of your hashrates will be used to mining and getting the shares.
Anyway, you need to watch the price on the market to decide your investment strategy.

That's a great suggestion! They should start diversifying their cloud mining operations, and mine most profitable coins from other algos and pay us with BTC. Mining more profitable coins means greater profits for HashNest and it's investors!
^^^ @HashNest, Do this Please! ^^^
And who do I have to bribe around here to tell me how to get notified of next batch release dates, or where to look for those announcements. Is there an existing batch release thread Huh
292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin cloud mining on: December 05, 2017, 12:52:04 AM
1. But i will get the electricity cost and the maintenance cost. What's the different thing? But i can make
2. I don't think so.
3 Just with a gigahash and I can't pay the transaction fees. The bitcoin mining will be worthy if we can get hundreds gigahash. Every cloud mining site was offering to trade his hashrate power and i'd like to call it hashmarket.
In my opinion about the cloud mining site is not worthy again right now. I will never meet my ROI.

what cost are you talking about? you wont get any electricity cost on cloud mining because it mainly works online. cloud mining or hardware mining are not really profitable nowadays because of the increased difficulty lately due to the fact that there were so many miners that are operating thesedays.
Hashnest always advertises their cheap electricity cost, which is included in the maintenance cost

Advantage? I can't see any advantage since cloud mining aren't profitable already and mostly of them are just scams that's why I dont really bother myself when talking about cloud mining since I'm done already with hashocean scam Smiley

yeah, were on the same boat and i also think that these cloud mining sites dont have any advantages to offer to you because the real truth behind them is they are actually all scam or ponzi scheme. @op i just want to say goodluck to your project and i hope you will get some good clients to test your platform.
I have explained a few posts back what makes HashNest and AntPool that are both Bitmain (famous for their AntMiners) companies legit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1809206.msg25641003#msg25641003
BTW, as far as I can tell, Bitmain has been in the ASIC business since Q1, 2013: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330665.0,
and HashNest in the cloud mining business since September 1st, 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=765128.0

Regarding profitability, right now HashNest, until they release and sell another cloud mining S9+ or T9 batch, they are only profitable if you are good with hashrate-buy-low-sell-high-trading, because the current price/hash of the S9 (due to high demand) is almost 8x the price/hash of the S9 when it was sold in the hashnest shop. (hashnest shop sells you a full miner with all its hashes. u can then trade some or all in the hashmarket). So, you cannot make ROI with the current price/hash.

The only way to make passive cloud mining ROI (with HashNest), is to wait for their next cloud mining batch release, or their next PACMiC contracts. I hope this clears things up.
293  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: December 05, 2017, 12:19:33 AM
this is legit ?
some one can tell me then im willing ot invest my bitcoin here to have a profit

nicehash has been out for quite some time.
you can make money with it if you know what to mine.
just buying hashing power and pointing to a pool without any clue won't make you rich.
Is there any easy to use service or website that would tell/notify you what to mine? Is there a website that would automatically do this legitly for you (unlike the old scrypt.cc cloud mining scam that claimed they mined the most profitable coins)?

295  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 04, 2017, 11:17:21 PM
my guess is deposits are not even part of the equation, but they help you meet the threashold.

B ≥ 500k and B ≥ 2F

B is balance and F is Free roll earnings

when wetsuit 1st said there was a way to remove the captcha it was

B ≥ 30k and B ≥ 2F

I am pretty sure it is a balance thing since I dropped to 1.99:1 and the captcha was back till interest for the day bumped me back to 2:1. I decided to deposit more so I could claim more then a few times a day to keep the ratio

500k is just a guess since I am well over that with 3.1 mil and am at 2.6 times my free roll
Unfortunately, I proved that B ≥ 2F is FALSE here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg25724934#msg25724934

Since wetsuit stated that "Also, wagering in the HI-LO game helps", I am thinking we should include the M as a factor in the B ≥ 2F. For example, my current
M = 28045 rolls
B = 0.00082345 BTC
F = 0.00161312 BTC

B ≥ [2F / M]   --->   0.00082345 ≥ [2(0.00161312) / 28045]   --->   0.00082345 ≥ 0.00000012   --->   TRUE!

I think we may on to something here! No Captcha when {B ≥ [2F / M] OR B ≥ 0.005BTC}, works for me, AND it also makes sense according to wetsuit's statement!

Please tell me that this works for you:

IF {B ≥ [2F / M] OR B ≥ 0.005BTC} is TRUE ---> No Captcha
IF {B ≥ [2F / M] OR B ≥ 0.005BTC} is FALSE ---> Captcha
Where,
B: current Balance
F: Free roll winnings
M: Multiply BTC played
296  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 04, 2017, 10:40:09 PM
Based On my experience:
F=earnings from free rolls.
D=total deposits minus total payouts.
C=earnings from referral commissions.
E=daily interests.
B=current balance.
X=something that has been changed recently.

C will be counted as D (not F).

E will be counted as D (as someone said that he saw captchas for some free rolls then saw no captchas and again captchas reappeared , the site paid daily interests so captchas removed for some rolls)

We must meet these conditions to remove captchas:
1. B must be at least X.
2. D(+C+E) must be more than F.

X was 30k before, but now I think it's 500k.
Spending some coins in multiply & lottery tickets will also remove captchas temporarily.

So if you deposit 500k , you'll see no more captchas until you reach 0.01 , it takes 7-8 months.

Interesting! Also, ivebeenpwnd2 below you seems to agree with the B ≥ 500k. (How di u find the '≥' symbol?)
BTW, since I already have no captcha the only reason I'm trying to figure this out is to see if it also applies to my freedoge account, where I still have captcha...

Let's see if this applies to me:
F = 0.00161312 BTC
D = 1.33296526 - 0.00012567 = 1.33283959 BTC
C = 0.00000000 BTC
E = 0.00004770 BTC
B = 0.00082345 BTC
X = 0.00500000 BTC

Conditions test:
1. B >= X ---> 0.00082345 >= 0.00500000 ---> FALSE
2. [D + C + E] > F   --->   [1.33283959 + 0 + 0.00004770] > 0.00161312   --->   1.33288729 > 0.00161312   ---> TRUE

Did your hypothesis require both [1 AND 2] be TRUE,
or did it require either [1 OR 2] to be TRUE?

As you can see above, for me it works for [1 OR 2] only, if same for you, then we may have a solution.
However, if [1 AND 2] is required to remove your Captcha, then we need to do some more work...
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 04, 2017, 03:33:23 PM
I see I got some interesting reading to do. Thanks for pointing that link out. But isn’t provably fair supposed to use an algorithm that “balances nature”?

No. Nature is in no way involved. In short, it uses encryption to hash 2 strings (seeds) into hexadecimal numbers. One on the server and one on the client. By telling us the hash of the server seed in advance and allowing to change our client seed we can prove that the number was truly random when the 2 numbers are combined.

The reason I thought that it needs to balance in the end, was because I remember in an IT classes, a while back, (java or similar language) we played with a RAND(), and I remember learning that no RAND() is truly random and that it is possible for a random sequence to eventually repeat itself (wish I
paid more attention in class, but I simply never cared for randomness or gambling until encountering this website). Does this mean anything to anymore?
298  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 04, 2017, 02:35:40 PM
Lol where do you see any math in the above quotes? I can probably School u in math any day. I just haven’t done any probability calculations in this thread (yet)

Mathematics isn't what you are missing, it is the very definition of words. The rolls come from an RNG (Random number Generator). Random implies the absence of patterns. You may think you see them but that is a quite normal behaviour in a human to find order where it doesn't exist. Go back up a bit to one of my previous posts and follow the link to Gambler's Fallacy and you can find out where you are going wrong.

I see I got some interesting reading to do. Thanks for pointing that link out. But isn’t provably fair supposed to use an algorithm that “balances nature”? The provably fair document is too long for me to read right now. I should be preparing for my final exams lol

EDIT: I guess I’ll come back to the provably fair thing and the fallacy after finals... I’ll stop trolling Grin
299  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 04, 2017, 02:21:26 PM
I'm still experimenting with my adapted Martingale.
All experiments with martingale ended the same way. Why do you think you are smarter than everyone else and ignoring facts?
One trick I recently started using to avoid dangerously long streaks is watching the rolled numbers and try to predict a pattern.
You can watch rolled numbers 20 years and you won't find any pattern, you know why? Because there isn't any.
Usually it;s not easy, but a few times, you could detect a recognizable pattern.
No, you can't!
Example: if you roll the following sequence of numbers:
13503
24679
39573
45012
You can bet almost safely that the next roll would be higher than 50000
Or lower than 5000.
Another example of a recognizable pattern is something like:
49321
51893
46061
54021
32023
You can bet almost safely that the next would be above 6000
Or under 6000.
Then again, the problem with these patterns is that you never know when they change and switch to another pattern or just another totally irrelevant random number  Roll Eyes
Which means it is random.
After 20 rolled high numbers chance to roll high number IS 50%(little less because HE), also chance to roll low number is the same - nearly 50%.
There is no pattern, there is no such thing as higher chance on next roll because previous roll was...
Your math sucks   Roll Eyes

Lol where do you see any math in the above quotes? I can probably School u in math any day. I just haven’t done any probability calculations in this thread (yet)

I was merely referring to the patterns as a concept. I don’t think each rolled number is independent. I think (or hope) in this particular provably fair game that all the rolls played should average to 50000. I haven’t read the randomization algorithm they are using so I guess I’m just speculating
300  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 04, 2017, 01:51:36 PM
I found some claim that you need to deposit an amount greater than or equal to the free rolls amount you have won so far. Other say that you don't actually need to deposit, as long as your balance is greater than or equal to double the free rolls amount you have accumulated. (you can see this info in Stats -> Personal Stats in your account.)

Is anyone aware of any official statement about this, or is everyone just speculating?

Yes, I asked about it when it changed a while back and Wetsuit the site owner replied telling us of the 2x free rolls total requirement. There is a certain amount of multiply BTC and/or Lottery tickets purchased needed as well, I'm not sure what exactly the requirement is but I haven't done either for quite a long time and I don't get a captcha.

The amount isn't the same for everyone. If your balance is equal to or greater than 2x of your total free play winnings, you do not need to solve a captcha.

Ahh, that's why it came back, you changed it from playing hi/lo game. Looks like I'm stuck with capture then as I've been playing for so long.

Also, wagering in the HI-LO game helps. I had to increase the balance requirements to 2x from 1x previously because botters had figured it out and could reach no-captcha without depositing. Now they will need to deposit to roll without captcha so it has reduced their activity.

OMG! Thanks for the quote, but could wetsuit have been anymore cryptic?  Tongue

The amount isn't the same for everyone. If your balance is equal to or greater than 2x of your total free play winnings, you do not need to solve a captcha.
This alone is false. My balance is way less than 2x total free rolls:

Also, wagering in the HI-LO game helps.
This complicates things substantially. Now we have to somehow incorporate the number Multiply BTC rolls played M in a formula related to B >= 2F

Currently my M = 28,021 lol any ideas what this value should or could be in relation to B >= 2F to keep avoiding captchas ?

Can everyone share their following data to help me find a new formula, plz:
Code:
Do you have Captcha: Y/N
Multiply BTC rolls played M =
Total deposits D =
Free Roll Winnings F =
Referral Commissions earned C =

Thanks.
