Hey guys,
Last night I fired up my wallet for my weekly staking and don't get any connections. I've never had this problem before and don't use a config file. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Arg, My wallet has been quite buggy lately. I've tried resetting the roaming folder and also the bootstrap. It was working flawlessly forever but now I constantly get the (not responding) error. I haven't been able to update since about block 900k. Could it be that I have over 90k transactions? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks 3/29 It seems to have sorted itself out after a few nights of being open. Looking forward to the new release.

OK,something happened coz my wallet is not staking anymore...i tried 2x restart. Its still same.Maybe some updates are coming! I have the same problem mate , let's wait for a response ... . Thank you for reporting this issue as soon as you noticed it. I have been looking at it for an hour now. I believe I have identified the problem. It will likely require a hard fork to address. The issue seems to arise from a strange combination of events happening simultaneously and exposed a problem with the PoS protocol. This issue is a slight security risk because many users seem to be excluded from staking, which impacts the security of the network. The team is putting together a plan to mitigate any potential security concerns. As soon as I am confident I have diagnosed this issue, I will release a fix ASAP. I open my wallet to stake every 5-7 days and the last time was 3/19. Should I wait for a fix before attempting my next scheduled staking or will it be ok to proceed. Thanks

If I remember well you must have at least 15 post activity in order to post in this thread. So you can PM your offer to the seller before your post gets deleted.

PM me your email where you want to receive Slack invite and I`ll forward your request to the right person.
15 posts for this thread specifically?? If so, that's a crock of shit(no offense to you of course). Just because I recently began posting in these threads by no means suggests that I'm a newby. I'm a firm believer in the crypto revolution and serious investor in XC, XST, Sonic, Block and many others outside of the Blocknet community. I have held and continue to accumulate these coins for year(s). I have done well with the recent market movements with my "trader coins" and wish to expand my core "hold" positions in the Blocknet family. Anyhow, rant over. I agree that it`s not fair to apply minimum post activity requirement to be able to post in our thread, but at the same time please bear in mind the reason which led StealthCoin to this decision: since the fud attack against Stealth project in late 2014, there are many newbie accounts that pop up from time to time to fud here. So a filtering bot has been put in place to automatically purge newbie posts. I`m not sure though what is the minimum post activity that is required. Understood. I also dislike the fudders. Thanks to whomever sold me a few XST on Polo. So, you bought them at 1250 satoshis and are selling them in small chunks at 1300-1400 satoshis? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) No, quite the opposite. I'm accumulating. I like this project and have faith that it will blossom in due time. As I said earlier, I'm an investor not a day trader. I have better things to do with my time than sit in front of a computer all day in hopes of making a few satoshis. These coins have joined the others in my wallet for staking and more will be added in time. Believe that. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

OK, I just placed the order for 150,000 @1251 on Polo if anyone else is interested. The price probably will pull back below my order but I don't care because I'm not a day trader. It's there if you want it. Thanks

After updated my wallet on windows from v2.0.1 to 2.0.2 I have "error reading blkindex.dat" ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Sounds like your datadir is corrupted... I would suggest downloading the bootstrap and replacing those files. This likely happened either due to app crash, forcefully closing the app without letting it complete the exit process or a complete system crash I downloaded the bootstrap from mincoint official and replaced data dir, and get some error ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) With v2.0.1 all OK I'm also having the same issue ("error reading blkindex.dat"). My 2.0.1 wallet is fully sync'ed to block #2371004 and has been working perfectly. I run it every day. I can tell you that in my appdata file there is no sub-file named blkindex.dat. Maybe this helps. I believe the correct file name is "blk0001". At least that is what I have. Ok, I just tried renaming this file "blkindex" but it still didn't help. I wonder if something needs to be changed in the properties.

Do you guys think it's worth donating to keep the block explorer alive or is this project gone and forgotten? It is still traded at BleuTrade although there is not much volume.

I guess what I should have said is that it appears that I'm the only one, or one of few, staking. (Minting. Your weight is 4705964. Network weight is 1089. Expected time to earn interest is 0 seconds) I am using the latest version 2.1 and have no issues connecting or staking. I am a long time investor (from the beginning) and I run my wallet on a very regular basis although I cannot run it 24/7. If there is anything I can do to help others get connected let me know. I am here to support the community in any way I can and I believe in your project argakiig. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Put these in your SonicScrewdriver.conf file addnode=w5fg7bcjf3z6jxzs.onion:14437 addnode=lbtk6lq44ca2wu7k.onion:14437 addnode=ceyfx4oatpgqf6kk.onion:14437 addnode=jjsgap2t6rhoyawq.onion:14437 addnode=czj3ra2s3jwzpyhs.onion:14437 addnode=7lx2wwemlofroq6q.onion:14437 addnode=tvvovkwu2qd3cdiq.onion:14437 addnode=rtzexkvccilnlemz.onion:14437 addnode=vn4g4t6gwqja5tno.onion:14437 If you connect and the network weight is low you may have be on your own chain so you will need to delete the block chain and re-sync. Most likely it will just orphan those last blocks that you mined on your own chain. You should be on or just past block 856192 depending on when you read this. { "version" : "v2.1.0.0", "protocolversion" : 62100, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 74891.82198700, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 856192,"moneysupply" : 22377288.55233100, "connections" : 5, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 429240.67985483, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1451447797, "keypoolsize" : 102, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" } First off, I don't use a config file. I've never needed one to find connections. But I did just open my wallet to confirm the "getinfo". This is what I have. { "version" : "v2.1.0.0", "protocolversion" : 62100, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 578946.98353100, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 422.17241800, "blocks" : 856201, "moneysupply" : 22377290.73698500, "connections" : 6, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "tvvovkwu2qd3cdiq.onion", "difficulty" : 429240.67985483, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1416698207, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" } Now watch this. I'm going to unlock my wallet again while I finish getting ready for work. I bet the chain starts moving along better. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
