I actually learned during this ordeal that the SEC can really only hand out slaps on the wrists for obvious fraud. Yay government!

What is the lesson we learned from the title of this thread and the past two weeks of bitcoin price?
That when SR goes down, the supply of BTC goes down because sellers are unable to cash out. Therefore, the price goes up. It would be interesting to see what would happen to the price if it was down for a month. Not sure how it would go either way.

I'm not being paid enough for this job.

I run a PC repair shop so I'm starting to feel like EVERYONE has MyWebSearch and Freeze and iLivid and Freeze. How fucking stupid are people?!

You'll have to replace the urge with something productive where you actually make money. I "gamble" on buying stuff to resell for much more than I paid. Still get the thrill, and I get to pay my bills.

For God's sake, learn how to write properly.

I would assume by now that there is at least one kind of ASIC being used to mine Bitcoins besides BFL's.
A smart businessman would have his own designed and produce and never tell anyone but his investors and Asian contractors.

Ya'll sure like these circle jerks. Reminds me of certain libertarian forums...

I was referring to the OP with my statement, who comes off as the type that would be vulnerable to this kind of thing.
Ever tried NOD32? Never had a problem in the 3 years I've been running it, and it catches a lot of potential bullshit.
