281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The hapiness of a green profit on: January 09, 2018, 11:29:30 PM
Yes obviously that a green profit is always something that is motivating everybody in here, and not just in gambling, i mean, not just everytime that you go to a casino and you make a good bet.

A green profit means everything, and the same applies when you are doing a succesfull trade with an altcoin, or just on forex, that is not something that can be seen everyday.

But have you been thinking about what happens to you everytime that you see a red number? You are suffering a lot, and that is what is usually happenning to everybody in here.

It also leads to addiction, by the way. If we are so obsessed with getting green profits then for sure you will end up losing more than what you can afford to lose since you always think about winning and nothing else. Yeah getting profits from gambling is indeed great, but it should not be something that would cloud your judgement and in the end you get addicted and without nothing because you lost it all because you want a green profit.
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2.5 BTC CLOUDBET WITHDRAWAL PENDING on: January 08, 2018, 11:59:14 PM
They paid me ! Cloudbet dont scam.

Great that you were paid. So far, I think there was just a misunderstanding and a hasty accusation here. I do think that cloud bet is one of the more mature sites and I don't think they will destroy what they've built for years and lose the chance of earning a lot more in the future. Gambling sites don't really get a lot of attention nowadays, hence if you are one of the top ones, I do think they will take care of their position.
283  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-08] Bitcoin - It’s Big in Japan on: January 08, 2018, 11:57:05 PM
Well, we all know how crazy the Japs are and how much they embrace technology, so I am not really surprised if one day you can just live with just Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies in Japan in the future. They would gladly dive into new technologies that they believe would change the world. For sure they'll even be able to create the robots that only we create in fantasies. Japan is the forefront of technology.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin Down? on: January 08, 2018, 11:50:41 PM
The price is only going down because of the fucking korean regulations + government issues.
Thatis the only explanation that you are probably looking for

Do not pay attention to the others who are saying bullshit about it, because that is the only explanation.
And most altcoins went down by more than 10% on coinmarketcap, because the korean exchanges got delisted from there.
So the average of the price changed drastrically.

This caused a huge panic selling and the price went down by a lot
You could also add that bitcoins is terrible right now, and the network is far too congested to be usable! You can't even get a transaction through without paying a high enough miner's fee! That is a huge turn off for most people for sure and has driven a lot of users to switch to something else like ETH or, amazingly, DOGE. It will likely turn around after an upgrade is done to the protocol.
285  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: HELP MY BTC TRANSACT IS TAKING TOO LONG TO CONFIRM!! on: January 08, 2018, 10:48:07 PM
Maybe you can share the transaction ID so people can look at your transaction. Maybe you placed a really low fee that is why it is taking too long. Right now the required fees for a transaction is really big, and maybe you need to pay at least 1mBTC to have it confirmed quick enough or even maybe more since the network is really super congested. You can also have it accelerated, there are loads of services right now offering this service, although these services are not very much reliable but work the shot.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why China banning bitcoin mining isn't a bad thing - look at the bright side on: January 08, 2018, 10:28:05 PM
https://news.vice.com/en_us/article/59w5eb/china-is-about-to-kill-nearly-all-bitcoin-mining-operations-in-the-world?utm_source=vicenewsfb

China is banning bitcoin mining. And this isn't even necessarily a bad thing. Why you ask? Let's summarize some bulletpoints:

-A lot of hashing power is coming from China which isn't the most friendly towards cryptocurrecies (gov is fine with blockchain though)

A lot of these big mining facilities have racked up quite an income over these years, they could simply move out of China to resume their operations elsewhere.

Preferrably they'd scatter around a bit in low electricity cost countries to further ''decentralize'' the mining operations, how is it decentralised if the majority of hashing power is still coming from a few big groups? Well atleast they'd be in different countries, since it takes a while for governments to react it means that a similar situation like China now isn't bound to occur very quickly.

- Hasing power drops, bitcoin transactions become slower which forces BTC to take measures such as increasing block size to prevent BTC from dieing.

These are some points, likely the value of BTC will drop on a short term notice but I wouldn't really worry. Rich Chinese come to western countries for fresh air and generally try to get their money out of China. If these miners find it that profitable to mine BTC and want to continue doing so then nothing really stops them from just leaving the country, I can imagine there are quite a few countries who would welcome these miners as they bring a lot of money with them and will boost their economy.

Anyone can think of more reasons why this isn't necessarily bad?

Though moving away from China and into another country doesn't really change the fact that the miner's opinion is the same. If they still continue to mine Bitcoins they would likely still have the same mindset, so in cases of forks you would still have the same people having the same decision in forks. I don't think it would change anything. You just moved them to other places.

288  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: January 05, 2018, 10:36:04 AM
For me as a trader and a gambler I still consider gambling as more riskier.

Also with gambling when you lose your money that is it your done while in trading even though the prices went down you do not lose the money until you click that sell button.

On any day gambling is risky compared to trading, irrespective of whether it is skill based or luck based gambling. Trading can assure you at least the invested money back, but gambling may or may not get the invested money back. Trading is a safer side then gambling need luck and skill to win in gambling.

Yes I agree, gambling is always much more risky, but to be honest trading is also very risky. There are a lot of chances that you can lose 10% just like that without the trader even having the opportunity to react to the sudden event. But what is good with trading is that you can change your position and possibly profit from the situation. But of course trading is something for someone really experienced. It is not something for newbies to make a quick buck.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: January 05, 2018, 10:28:35 AM
Yes but only if you become such a tech geek who can actually go into and calculate algorithms using which these gambling casinos operate. Except this there is no way your maths could help in gambling. If this was possible you would see tons of gambling companies who would be hiring mathematics topper from universities gambling is fate and a little bit brain.
You made a great point about the role of mathematicians in gambling, the algorithms included in gambling games are understood by some experts and they brief to people online on some platforms. But you can never rely on these algorithms or tricks. Gambling is a cruel world and it can prove you wrong and make you broke in a matter of minutes.

I agree this is a great point he has made. However, even if you are the smartest man alive, you cannot still win against the casino. If it was possible then we would have seen someone already do it. But right now no one has done it.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My dice site is not worth? on: January 05, 2018, 05:35:15 AM
make it altcoin dice is my recommendation , accept litecoin/dogecoin/etc. and add sportsbook/poker etc.

Hmm, that is indeed something that would likely bring in more people to play on OP's dice site. However, problem is I am guessing OP is not a programmer. He just also bought this script from someone else, hence he will likely need to spend more money to modify his script. And judging from OP's situation, he does not really have enough money to even sustain the project, so I don't think he can be able to do this anymore. Though this is really good advice for anyone wanting to open a casino.
291  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: January 05, 2018, 05:26:56 AM
As you'll read from most comments here, there are good sites with good faucets - but in general, the bigger faucets are rewards for player loyalty. And in general, players who are loyal long enough (or wager enough, really) to reach those faucets... don't need them. Faucets are really there to kill time when you're waiting for a new deposit.
Ah, now I get casino faucets - thanks for this summary!

Even if they do give out high faucet claims, it is hard to make that money into something withdraw-able anyway. The biggest faucet claim I am able to get is about 1500 sats, and I need to get it to 100,000 sats to be able to withdraw it. The chances to do that is quite low. It would take you a lot of tries to be able to do that. This is really the reason why casinos are giving out faucet claims, as there is little chance the players can really convert the claim into something they can withdraw.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to know if a gambling site is a scam or not? on: January 05, 2018, 04:52:47 AM
Honestly, on my part its not easy to know if the gambling the site is a scam or not. Well, in that case I just research and gaining enough knowledge to know it. Also, I ask to my friends and those experts to know if the site is a scam which as I know as of this that the scammers are rampant in the social media.
You can use search engines to know if that casino is a scam or not. You can see reviews there and let yourself know and read the experience of other gamblers on that certain gambling site. Also here in forum we got gambling section where ANN thread's of different crypto gambling sites are established and you can read people's review there and comments on how that site is running.

That is correct, a quick google search of the site would reveal a lot of about the site and then you can decide whether the site you are looking at is worth playing on. But really, there is still a lot more than just googling the site, there is still a lot to do, like research whether their random number generation is provably fair or whether the operators are publicly listed so you know where to file a case just in case. Basically, you have to do your own due diligence before you even play on the casino.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 05, 2018, 04:46:48 AM
If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".

Nice tips, but all the tips in the world don't work until one seriously wishes it to work. Gambling requires some serious self discipline especially whenever things don't go your way, it's at this point where a gambler is at his weak spot, whether to play or quit. I have always advocated for a budget based gambling and having someone close to you who can control you is needed.

Indeed a limit is always a good way to gamble with your money. I would not advice anyone to deposit large amounts of money that they do not really intent to gamble with, this way you remove the urge to bet more than what you intended to bet with. For example, you just intend to bet with 1BTC but you deposited 10BTC (probably thinking this is to save on fees), but really if you lost the 1BTC there is that 9BTC there that you will likely be tempted to use and bet with.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My dice site is not worth? on: January 05, 2018, 04:34:05 AM
I have own site but because of lack of money, i was not able to run my site.
Then I planned to sell my script with around 700$+  but I saw no one is interested to buy my site.
Is my site is not worth to bid any amount on the script?
Clink on my site xdice.io

Guess there aren't much people really interested in opening their own gambling site. It's actually a really expensive venture to do, it cost a lot since first you need to have a really good script which has a lot of security features then next you need to have a huge bankroll. Bankroll must be at least 10 - 20 bitcoins to start, so you can have a good limit to the bets and not just have like satoshi sized bets. Taken these all in consideration, not a lot of people would want to open their own casino or dice site.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: January 05, 2018, 04:11:38 AM
When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?
I already play my half money since i was able and already doubled my money. So i preffer to play mu profit instead of my starting money. I know that thier is possibility to lose it but it has also possibility to win. I will play my profit to assure that nothing can take away my starting money and that what also when i win. I shall tripple my money..so how come.

It is the same as playing with your balance, to be honest even if it is winnings or money you don't actually expect, it is still your money. What if you didn't win? Then there is no winnings to speak of. Since you are risking your money to get those profits then you actually earned that money. Hence, there is really no point in distinguishing money you won and money you really own. If you win something, take it home and don't put it back in the casinos.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: January 05, 2018, 03:02:49 AM
I prefer digital ones as it is much more transparent as you can see how the casino generates the random number also it is clear what house edge you are playing on. Most of the time in real casinos, there are just games and you do not know what house edge you are playing on. Then if you choose their electronic games like slots, the house edge is not stated as well and the fact that you do not know how numbers are generated in the slot machines.
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best bitcoin casino? on: January 05, 2018, 02:03:39 AM
I have played on Pd, Rollio and then Bitdice while Pd is really good, it's been there for a long time, but once you start playing at bitdice you have to admit it's really good, one I really like the graphics which they keep on updating over a period of time. Plus there are so many games one can choose, I call it gambler's paradise. Then one important fact is I hardly have seen any one complaint about them, and their ico was one of the most successful ico ever for a gambling site.

I would say those are good "dice sites' but not really casinos. I would classify casinos as something more than just dice and would incorporate classic gambling games like slots, roulette, craps, blackjack, etc. So if anyone is looking for a real casino, then fortune jack is always one of the best option. Also fortune jack always has a lot of good promotions for their gamblers like bonuses, free spins, and even free daily draws that could net you a 0.1btc for free.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: January 04, 2018, 11:53:49 PM
since bitcoin was introduced to me few years ago i've got this thing in mind
is gambling really about luck or can you beat the house using maths and probability?

well as for my i always YOLO bet a lot and sometimes it's working fine but most of the time it's not
i tried also using lowbets with strategy , mostly on dice autobetting, it seems fine but kinda boring, seems okay but it will bust in a time
so do you think gambling is about luck or you can beat the house with strat?

There is no way to beat a casino just by using math. Math will actually tell you that you can't beat the house. The fact of the matter is, you don't have unlimited bankroll to be able to pull off a martin gale system nor can you bet with unlimited limits nor can you play without house edge. All gambling games are negative expected value, meaning each time you bet you actually lose something if you average everything out and compute it for the long run.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 04, 2018, 11:49:48 PM
no need to condition in yourself when time to stop i suggest with you set limitation if you want to avoid loses getting a winning bet in 10 to 15 percent is enough to stop playing befoer lose your all capital. and go back agin in another day.

This would be the best advice to any gambler, a limit will prevent you from losing a lot of money, and it doubles as a trigger when you should stop playing. It is time to stop when you already reached the limit. For example, for today you set a limit of max of 1btc loss. Then if you loss that much then you stop, but you can also set a limit to when you will stop if you earned enough, like set it to 1btc profit. Then you stop when you earned that much. It all boils down to discipline really.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont waste your money on gambling websites except this on: January 04, 2018, 03:35:12 PM
I know a website that has multiplayer games and it shows the result of each game in mD5 hash mode before playing .
so It is the only trustworthy website to make money.
take a look and share your idea :
www.headortailbet.com
Seriously? This is an attempt to create a gambling site? Or is this an attempt to steal money from other people? This looks like just a template bought from the dark net. It almost feels like a ponzi scheme website I usually see on the internet. Your title also is annoying to see that you are saying that people are wasting their money by gambling at other gambling site, and yours is the only one that we are not wasting money. That's a laugh right there.
