281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX480 (Reference) 31+Mh, Custom Rom on: August 21, 2016, 02:44:54 PM
Nice stuff! Looking to get an RX480 myself so will see how things go

I shall wait until the OP gets the BIOS signed.

Otherwise it is too difficult for me as I have the miners in another place.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: August 19, 2016, 04:47:51 PM
I think that better to sell bigger part of mined coins to pay taxes and other stuff, because it's not so good to save many coins when you know that price is unstable.

That is right. If you mine 10 bitcoin a month, then it is better to cover the cost by selling some and then save the rest.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: August 17, 2016, 01:22:07 PM
I think that paper money will be gone in the future. How low it is going to take I don't know. Everything is getting more and more digital and money is one of those things. But it will be a whole process getting rid of the paper money.
i hope that you are right though in my opinion bitcoins might fail either, anything is possible

If the bitcoin can learn from the past mistakes or implement good protocols, it will be fine, Otherwise, it will be dead.

You can't ban paper moneys. Because that's an international Cash. Anywhere in this world is using Paper money and also Coins. You have to accept it. But if Cryptocurrency will rise and if this will be an international money, then that's good. But I assured that this Cryptocurrency can ban paper money. Because how about the Rural Areas ? How about the places without internet ? How about the people who didn't still know what is Bitcoin ? Maybe after 50-100 Years I think, All currencies will be digital and all things will be bought online.

Maybe less than we are expecting as there are activists out there pushing for paperless society. Government can save a lot of money as well they stop the circulation of paper money and start adapting using online payment or use of smart phone but you are right that there are areas like the rural areas that may not be able to use online payment because of slow or no internet connection at all.

I believe that it is going to happen in the future that the government is going to implement cashless society and its been a plan since then.
And for sure it is going to happen that the government is going to allow it to happen and going to convince people that it is better to use that
cashless money.
Maybe, but that would be a long wait before it will happen, people are already comfortable with paper money and to be honest it is really good to spend paper money as it is very simple to do transaction with anyone. And if you go to the bar you can easily tip to some hot chicks.

People are comfortable with the fiat paper money because they do not realise the benefit of the crypto currency.

It is better to buy some bitcoin instead of mining for most people especially those with high electricity price.
Its better to mine bitcoin that to other altcoins out there since i has a high value but mining on these days are not profitable mostly to those countries have  expensive energy price. In that case mining would not be a good idea , your profit  of it would only go to paying the high electric bill. Then you will mine for nothing.

The Washington State power suppliers are going to increase the electricity price, that will drive the mining away.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: July 07, 2016, 07:45:55 PM
If you are mining coins then it does not really matter if you sell them right away or save them for the future. Either way you will make a profit so it is really up to you. If you want to make more money then waiting for the price to go up is the option to choose, if not then sell them right away.

I mine the bitcoin. I keep most of them. I just use some to cover my cost. I will make more profit if I keep them longer.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: June 23, 2016, 07:56:16 PM
Mining coins need to save and wait for the right time to sell it this is for you future but if you encounter unexpected things to happen i think you should sell your bitcoin anytime.

Do you think it was a good time to sell 2 to 5 days ago? The price has dropped quite a lot since that time.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 12, 2016, 07:24:31 AM
I have no doubt that the paper money always will exist, because there are several  population groups that don't have access to  more advanced alternatives to carry out their financial or commercial exchanges. But of course, this number will gradually decrease and perhaps in a distant future the paper money will disappear.

Well paper money will just exist , if all the countries will going to have an agreement for having a cashless society and they are going to use bitcoin for it. Before doing that they will need to create a law for establishing fiat paper money will don't have a value anymore.
That is hard to achieve man because not all countries have the same standings in the world, that simply mean that other countries have their citizens less educated so they cannot adopt using computer for online transaction. They will still use paper money and it needs long years to complete transition if the government will enforce.

There are many smart phone applications using the fiat to pay for the service. It is easy to integrate the bitcoin.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: May 14, 2016, 12:52:51 PM
I will keep my mined coin for at least 6 months. The price could rise very high after the halving in July.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: why I bought on: May 01, 2016, 08:46:36 AM
Buying a bitcoin is always a good action. You have invested into a highly returning vehicle. Your money will keep on growing at least for next 100 years.
We don't know if bitcoins will even exist in the next 100 years. I think a new better system might take over bitcoin in the next 50 years.
I would not take the risk to hold Bitcoins for so long because it is a gamble that you take. You will never know how Bitcoin is going to be at that point in time.
So I would at least try to sell some of them now and save some for later.

I will hold most of my coins. But I will not sell. I will just use some. That is same as selling but make it useful.

If you want nice profit, you have wait for long time. The price could be $100,000 in 20 years or longer.
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: why I bought on: April 17, 2016, 06:25:18 PM
bitcoin has a really good future since the beginning of this year, due to the point the bitcoin is getting more popular everyday, also the halving is coming so that is another point why you should invest.

The halving could double the price. So it is better to invest now, and sell after the price rise in a few months.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: why I bought on: April 08, 2016, 10:22:24 AM
I dont buy much as i only use bitcoin for watching porn,if i can incorporate bitcoin in my daily life i would by constantly.

I hope we do not have to buy bitcoin one day. We will be paid with bitcoin and we can buy anything with bitcoin.

That has happened now in some companies. I heard the overstock.com staff can opt to be paid with bitcoin.
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could be a good short right now... on: March 26, 2016, 06:36:56 AM
Its really a good thing that there is a shorting of bitcoin as it will make the price higher and add the halving im pretty sure that bitcoin price double its amount.

If there is a short squeeze, the price will go higher.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: why I bought on: March 01, 2016, 09:32:55 AM
I am accumulating a small amount of bitcoin every months, that is mainly by mining. I do not sell the coins.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: February 18, 2016, 06:40:25 PM
Sell them as much as you need to pay electricity, save the rest as an investment.

I will do the same. I will just use the amount of bitcoin to buy things and pay the electricity bill with fiats.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: February 08, 2016, 09:04:18 AM
In the future paper money will be worth so much Tongue because I bet a lot of paper money will be destroid and the collecters will be rich.

But I just think in the future all our money will me in the phone or smart watch.
But this is not going to happen in near future for developing countries its need too much time for developed countries its still need some good time so may be your grandchild's could be best beneficiaries of your paper money collections

Yeah that's true, but I don't think that any crypto can replace paper money, and it would take a long time that the world would survive only on digital currency, and paper money will exist forever and can never be replaced as the users of paper money are more as compared to digital currency and they will continue using it.

Paper money might not be replaced totally, it will be used for long term. But the percentage of paper money usage will reduce.
297  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could be a good short right now... on: January 27, 2016, 07:43:26 AM
And if you are desperate to short, now is probably as good a time as any but I wouldnt think youll get fantastic return on it if it even works. I dont see it getting much below $400

There is good support around $380. The price will not go below that level for long time unless there is very big bad news.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 14, 2016, 09:09:30 AM
Nobody really like to carry those currencies and coins in their pockets. It ain't that safe, many will debate about carrying credit cards, even then at some point we will have to withdraw or pay our bills with cash. But if digital currencies come into existence there wont be any hassle.

In the US, some people carry cash is not to spend it, but to save their life when they are robbed. So digital currency do not have that function.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could be a good short right now... on: January 03, 2016, 08:21:22 AM
Chinese Yuan is pegged to Dollar and other currencies. So shorting bitcoin/Yuan is the same as shorting bitcoin/dollar.
300  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: December 22, 2015, 10:10:50 AM
I just sold small part of it to sustain my expense and wouldn't sell it until next years halving.

That is a good strategy. The price might rise before or after the halving. But if bitcoin has bright future, why sell at any price?
