282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what innovations can crypto bring to gambling? on: August 01, 2016, 07:55:10 PM
Speed.  Both in getting your money into the casinos, speed of the dice rolls, and also speed at which you lose everything.   And it's no joke.  You can lose it all pretty damn fast.

The other thing is that it should be a unifying thing, where all bitcoiners should be able to gamble regardless of political borders,  but I don't think that's happened yet.  People in the US are still blocked because of stupid, antiquated laws as far as I know.
283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: August 01, 2016, 06:54:51 PM
Sure!  I have a sunny disposition and an even sunnier outlook on bitcoin, and I think it's always a good time to be buying.

Bitcoin, if it's going to be widely used,  has to scale up its price considerably from where it's at now.  So it would seem to me that buying at any price near where it is currently is basically buying low.  Then again if bitcoin doesn't get adopted, we're all kinda sorta screwed.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: August 01, 2016, 06:49:13 PM
With altcoin or bitcoin trading, the good thing is that you don't need a lot of capital to start with, and the fees are pretty damn small.  You also have a good number of exchanges to pick from.

You always have to have a handle on your emotions when you're trading anything,  and I think it's especially hard in the crypto world.  Prices of altcoins can bounce so much that you can lose your lunch while you're waiting to make a profit.  It's definitely high risk.  I wouldn't be brave enough to try it for long.

286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: August 01, 2016, 01:00:50 AM
Nah.  Overhead would drive the price higher than any bitcoin atm you could think of.  It'd be nice to actually be able to buy stuff in a physical store for bitcoin.  That's a realistic goal.
287  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SluckSpecht stole my account "I+AM+A+SCAMMER" on: August 01, 2016, 12:37:29 AM
Why would you possibly think it is a good idea to send first to an account that was literally created today?

Read the thread bud.

To be honest, I highly suspected that he was going to scam me.  I was just hoping I was wrong.  The only reason why I was selling the account in the first place is because I am done with bitcointalk.  I'm tired of keeping up with signature campaigns and just want to be done.  I was hoping for one quick last transaction, and I was going to be done.
Seems like your last deal should warrant at least as much caution as any other trade.  In other words, you're still sort of a sucker for sending first.
288  Other / Politics & Society / Re: child labouring or child beggar on: July 31, 2016, 06:45:11 PM
If a child has to beg then they have terrible parents that allow this, they should not have had any children in the first place.

No kids, no problem.
Most idiots should not be having children, that's so plain to see but everyone thinks they're the exception.   I think birth control hormones should be put in the drinking water worldwide.
289  Other / Archival / Re: What would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin? on: July 30, 2016, 04:45:11 PM
My policy is to keep my own counsel.  There's so much garbage advice being offered that its impossible to know what to believe.   And everyone has an opinion,  even if it's wrong.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 30, 2016, 03:03:14 PM
Yes I have done it over and over and over.  Roulette, slots, and blackjack in real casinos and dice with bitcoin.  Maybe next time I'll quit but right now its too damn fun.
291  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: July 29, 2016, 07:22:01 PM
Leave it.  Maybe when im in a better mood ill feel like saving the world.  But try to tell this to the new generation,  who can't get off their cell phones.
292  Economy / Reputation / Re: mexxer-2, Lutpin, and EcuaMobi are destroying this forum. on: February 27, 2016, 08:06:48 PM
He neg reps people like he is handing out sandwiches but in a thread with a real scam he added a reply: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1379371.0
Yet nobody bothers to neg rep the scammer...
So one of the times when I have a look at what the situation is about , talk with the people involved, I'm not using my power appropriately?
Feel free to point out what is wrong in my post
Irrelevant(nah kidding, he's getting tagged by Vod in some time)  if he did sell MS Admin accounts(potentially cracked or otherwise obtained via illegal means) isn't the transaction from some hours ago? Has he confessed he scammed you or something similar? If not , he might just be AFK or otherwise not able to contact you

You are useless and a trust abuser... simple. I'm not gonna spend any more word or time on you.
I really hate people like you with every bone in my body, YOU are the opposite of what bitcoin was intended for... no policing by a useless government...
You have a point, but this is a forum with rules.  And governments exist, with laws, and it's not wise for this forum to allow members to break them.
293  Economy / Services / Re: HERO Escrow Service on: February 27, 2016, 08:01:25 PM
He scammed me, don't use his escrow services
Derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp.  Yeah, you should have one of those dogs that help you walk around while you wear cool sunglasses that are really dark.  Do you know what I'm talking about?
294  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: February 27, 2016, 07:58:29 PM
They are definitely not a scam.  You ought to just be a little patient, though I think Yobit is usually quicker than this in processing withdrawals.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: February 08, 2016, 03:23:51 AM
I got a hard time letting coins sit.  Not gonna lie.  I like trading some bitcoin here and there for other coins like DASH and some others.  Never made much money doing so however.  Trading is tough, man.  So I guess the coins aren't idle anymore if I'm trading them, are they?  Idle coins just sit...idle.
296  Local / India / Re: How to send money from India on: February 08, 2016, 03:18:55 AM
Would be interesting to know why this question starts with "Except of BTC"..
I'm wondering this as well because bitcoin is the ideal way to send money around the world.  There's very little that's better.
297  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.01 btc loan max 1 user offer on: February 08, 2016, 03:17:17 AM
I mean after repay loan , vote trust
So are you giving loans to build trust here?
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 05, 2016, 02:23:23 AM
Gambling is sex is food is drugs is roller coaster ride is love is cigarettes is fun is dopamine, all in the middle of your noggin.  It's where the action is.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1k in january on: February 05, 2016, 02:20:38 AM
Well you're half wrong.  Let us hope that we get to $1000 after the halving.  I'd be OK with that even if we didn't get to $2000 as you predicted.  Can't have everything.
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: February 05, 2016, 02:14:49 AM
Yowza, how much more wrong can you be?  Looks to me like bitcoin is just stagnating and we may not see much in the way of swings.  But we might.  But we didn't see what OP predicted.
