281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie to Altcoins on: September 20, 2017, 08:16:11 AM
Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

Do your own due diligence about that new coin/ICO (including all key things you need to look at; idea, strategy, team, panel, white paper, distribution % & many more)....& don't forget to read every single word in the White Paper
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Stop New Trader from Panic Selling? on: September 20, 2017, 08:10:58 AM
Practically, You can't

They are afraid on their money & even if you show them hundreds of charts showing dumps & pumps, they will get panicked & sell on their first deep dump

It's a learning curve they have to go through (the majority of traders did the same thing somehow)
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO fundrising survive at 2018+? on: September 19, 2017, 02:55:07 PM
Serious & logical regulations will definitely limit the number of ICOs....but IMHO; ICO as a concept will Never die....it's highly tied to the Crypto Industry
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: September 19, 2017, 02:47:04 PM
I just joined an ICO, is there any possibilities that I will be scammed. They have just collected $5-10 million.

It really depends.....definitely we can never say that all ICOs are fake and we can never say that all of them are legitimate

The important question now is: Did you do your own due diligence before taking the decision to join that ICO?
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you adopt Bitcoin - Ideology, Technology, Monetary on: September 19, 2017, 02:40:25 PM
For me, it was mainly: 'Technology'

I can't stop myself from thinking about many areas where the underlying technology (blockchain) is the ideal way to go

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many bought ETH just to join an ICO ? on: September 19, 2017, 10:23:47 AM

I think to invest a certain amount of ethereum on a project do not do much if you still do not really understand,
and choosing a good ico is very important

Yes! That's exactly what I meant by 'Good ICOs'......I am referring to the ones that will 100% satisfy all requirements in the due diligence check list (project idea, feasibility, team, panel, distribution %, lock-in tokens, price, bounty program.....& many more)
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many bought ETH just to join an ICO ? on: September 19, 2017, 09:53:36 AM
How many bought ETH just to join an ICO ?

Till now, I usually exchange part of my Eth holdings for the selected ERC-20 tokens.....but soon, I may need to add some Eth to continue investing in the good ICOs that will be out there
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: September 19, 2017, 09:42:12 AM
Bitcoin is growing very powerfully but in this present scenario which factors can destroy or make its market value Zero.

The same person/entity who can destroy the global Network of interconnections (i.e. Internet) Smiley
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet do you use? on: September 18, 2017, 04:27:09 PM
For me, it's myetherwallet.com for my Eth and my ERC-20 tokens
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanges to buy from???? on: September 18, 2017, 02:37:11 PM
I always use BTC as my base, i.e. buy BTC & then convert the proper amount to the selected ALT (using mainly shapeshift) including Eth (& then further to these ERC-20 tokens)

To cash out my BTC & even buy some; it's always Bitstamp for me...
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 18, 2017, 02:26:31 PM
Hi Guy's,

Where would you invest 10 eth in when you can and why? Smiley

It all depends on your vision & plans....No one would give you the 'perfect' answer

But from an investment point of view; it's always good to diversify your portfolio

That said; there are tons of good Crypto currencies & tokens you can search & analyze before you can add to your portfolio
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $ 4000 on: September 18, 2017, 02:11:25 PM
surely this is good news. Bitcoin proves to be through a difficult situation without China.

I always believe that BTC was built to stay.....now, let's see it rocketing to the moon unless another challenge happens Smiley
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you invest in an ICO on: September 18, 2017, 10:24:23 AM
I believe that after you do your homework with the long due diligence list (i.e. team, WP....); you've to follow your own/gut feeling about that ICO/Idea......this kind of feeling should have been well developed from the study, monitoring & analysis of many other ICOs (especially the completed ones)

294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BAN ON BITCOINS!! on: September 17, 2017, 09:54:35 AM
BTC ban? Well, how can they practically make that?
As long as you've a working Internet connection; you can do whatever you want (with some workarounds here & there of course)
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you read ICOs white paper before investing? on: September 17, 2017, 09:42:07 AM
Yes, for sure
Regardless of all the lights on EOS, I've read every word in its whitepaper before I participated in its early stage ICO
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO & November 'possible' fork on: September 16, 2017, 01:08:37 PM
For now I don't put any worries on this November event the thing that worries me off on this last day of this month on which we do know China did make implementations on closing exchanges. It would really affects bitcoins price and so on with altcoins too. November is fast approaching but for now we should mind of first on the possible recent event that would happen on this bitcoin world.

True! Totally Agree! That will be another critical factor but as it'll happen soon (in 2 weeks); we can just wait & see how things go before we decide further on the ICO plans, details & timeline
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO & November 'possible' fork on: September 16, 2017, 11:40:45 AM
If you're planning for an ICO in the near future & your timeline is flexible, (i.e. its start & end dates), is it wise to avoid the month of November due to the 'possible' BTC fork?

I know Alt & ICOs could always be a good backup plan for the folks who are afraid to keep their BTC during the instability time but there is always that group who prefers to jump from the Crypto boat completely (& possibly gets back again when the dust settles)
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep calm: The bitcoin is stronger on: September 16, 2017, 08:59:25 AM
BTC is here to stay......with all the 'challenges' & rumors; it'll just be more stronger
As for 'Blockchain' itself, IMO; it's the king of all Emerging Technologies out there.....not only it's the underlying technology of the Crypto World but it'll be soon for ALL other areas
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Without China!!!!!!! on: September 15, 2017, 07:45:01 PM
IMO, BTC is better without the folks who are always afraid from China & any decision made in China
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where your ETH! on: September 15, 2017, 01:00:53 PM
myetherwallet.com for my Ether & few ERC-20 tokens
