I see members are awaiting activation few days, my application was few minutes ago, when will i know if i'm accepted?
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: May 11, 2017, 05:37:15 PM
I was thinking it would build up some excitement.
Excitement exists, naturally more wouldn't be good for heart..

It would also spread news about cloak coin and make people more aware.
Why would it be bad?
We need to leave behind us everything related to building pressures and making suitable conditions for pump. After code reveal this will happen naturally or will not happen at all, market will decide. Every kind of manipulation with this will be punished with lowering of interes imediatly affter dump happend.

Could the Devs clarify if we will get a countdown for ETA for open source?
Scroll back few pages and you can find razor, main developer agree, that announcement of the date is no good idea!
It might be good to have a countdown to open source.  Free advertising.
Please explain how this would be good? And what will be effects of this "countdown timer"? After we hear your thoughts i will explain why this wouldn't be so good idea.

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 10, 2017, 08:30:54 AM
DOGETH has a super low marketcap and has been getting some attention. This one has huge potential to make some money.

https://yobit.net/en/trade/DOGETH/BTC

Those pumps on Yobit are funny(3btc's?), mainly those are coins without support or without developer. I looked upon this coin and i don't find anything interesting, copy paste like many, takeover in progress.. This is pure gamble if you ask me.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ETH or ETC? on: May 10, 2017, 08:20:30 AM
I would buy both as a hedge to be honest. It's wise to invest in two upcoming platforms. Both of them have some serious support around the World and still have a chance to grow in price. In the shorter term I believe ETC can bring a good return but over time, both should reap you rewards as it's still early days for both Coins.
This kind of posts encourage me! Yes but are good oportonity, good support is most important. My focus is on BTC at the moment, if continue with rise my low orders will be filled, and lots of diffrent coins including those mentioned will be on wait.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple being Manipulated? on: May 10, 2017, 08:13:23 AM
if you hold thousands of ripple now in your desktop wallet who the hell can track you when its always like bitcoin still, they can trace everything but they don't know your name. who cares. what you should be caring is profit. this is not about honor. no one cares about honor. greed only know winners.
and ripple a.k.a XRP is wining this game.
This is truth for traders this is nice opportunity, nice good old PnD. But i'm talking about idea behind it's use, we all know how centralization is dangerous and who controls money supply. And now when we have chanse to change something, people don't want to change. I hope this false security won't kill our basic idea!?
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain what is going with AITCOIN right now? on: May 09, 2017, 02:14:45 PM
You must use this forum and every social network you can join (Twitter is really good), in order to get more informations, this requires lot of work. You must investigate a lot and you must have nervs of steel, if you are planing to stay in this bussiness. You just can't rely on one or two opinions!
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple being Manipulated? on: May 09, 2017, 01:36:33 PM
Yeah, I think a lot of the ripple coins are still controlled by developers if I recall correctly. It is definitely very volatile lately which is a day traders dream I guess.
That is correct, Ripple is a centralized coin.
And as such why is interesting to people? I meant to say BTC is interesting because it is decentralized and in certain limits is anonymous. Some slaves are too accustomed to slavery and they are confused wich way to go,  they don't wan't freedom, they are scared from it.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 09, 2017, 11:58:03 AM
if bitcoin stopped working, this wouldn't impact several of the bigger alt coins.
For instance, on Kraken, you can buy/sell LTC, DASH, ETC, ETH, GNO, ICN, MLN, REP, XLM, XMR and ZEC directly with USD/EUR.

We could say migration would be epic, but this won't happen for now. I must say i'm surprised with ETH but with all this money invested in PR and all good features and truly bright future, just can't endanger Bitcoin , ETH-16% today, thanks to BTC.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 09, 2017, 11:41:47 AM
I would say Litecoin is the next big hit after SegWit implementation and its adoption of Coinbase. I would bet on this Wink ( I already have Tongue )
I'm not, sure LTC now looks like a balloon, this will end up with classic dump. All this story about SegWit, Coinbase are used by the whales, as always. I'm out for now. It  is just a good year for alts, but this doesn mean we found Eldorado!

You forgot to write:
1.Don't click on suspicious links (newbie links),
2.Don't download brand new wallets from new projects before you can review Virustotal.
3. All accounts can be hacked and this is very hard to notice, strange behavior mostly is noticable.
4.Don't share your personal infoes.
5.Do not trade without third trusted party included.
6.And most of all do not be naive! All scams are commited with opportunistic promisses with much help of a greed..
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethbits Local and Ethbits iTrade Token Crowdsale (ICO) on: May 08, 2017, 01:40:42 PM
I wonder what are you doing in order to restore your neutral trust? I think that this is not something unimportant, especially when comes from most trusted members of this forum. I mean at least consider to give some explanations to investors.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 01:14:34 PM
Why do we don't have only one type of car on the street, which use only one particular fuel? Maybe because we are not all the same and we have different needs and perspectives. Someone cares about privacity, others needs speed, all in all demand exists.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 08, 2017, 01:05:53 PM
Stop abusing us with this scam
In bitcointalk the term "scam" used to describe successful innovate projects: previous scams are Ethereum, NEM, etc.
If this project give back profit to its investors than cannot be called scam! Some people like me do not like ICO projects but that doesn't mean i don't use them for profit once when they already shows integrity.  I won't judge, i will watch quietly.

Words from Admin:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0

I actually don't know how to either dude. I can't seem to find a contact or help email anywhere either. You can try and pm the forum moderators or something though. mprep is the mod for this section, here's his profile link, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=51173 you could try contacting him, he should guide you in the right direction.
If you didn't follow this instruction an you did not signed message then you will waste your time sending personal messages to moderators, they just can't know if you are a scammer or legitimate.

Yes, it seems that ETH token /contract is the "in" now a days. Ethereum strategy a good one. They created a token based platform and anyone can create their own coins. With this, they are creating their own ecosystem within their platform.
This strategy reminds me of John D. Rockefeller Jr donation of the land for United Nations. He gained increase of a value of all others partitions around UN. Vitalik Buterin certainly was inspired with this. Cheesy
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Monero replace Bitcoin soon? on: May 07, 2017, 10:31:27 AM
Why there must be replacement for Bitcoin? There is still much room for all and this kind of talks about only showing insecurity. Monero is something different, and some people don't like to be completly anonimus, army of selfies proving this hypothesis, for them we have Bitcoin. Grin
