282  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6600Th] Eligius: 0% Fee BTC, 105% PPS NMC, No registration, CPPSRB (New Thread) on: July 31, 2014, 11:12:33 PM
Fixed a very minor bug in the CPPSRB code that caused it to go into failsafe unexpectedly.

Unfortunately I've had to roll back CPPSRB's state to a snapshot from about a day ago and have it rebuild the share log from the core database, which is roughly 300 million shares behind real time.

Luckily the new database server is pretty badass, so it seems to be going pretty quickly.  I still expect this to take a few hours.

As always, the pool is fine, and when CPPSRB catches up I'll get on doing a manual payout to catch everything up.

Edit: Lets see if this ETA is accurate later: Processing @ 69182379.27582 GH/sec (3932100 shares {2174550016 diff 1} in 135 seconds / 302,119,519 shares remain, ETA 10372.6088 seconds)
It doesn't take into account the shares being submitted while it's processing though, so, probably will take a little longer than it thinks.

hehe 3hrs...ya i'd say a few more on top of that Wink no matter how badass ya make that stat server it always takes hrs to catch up Tongue i kid i kid...ya doing a great job Wink

Is there a new ASIC miner for X11 coin or something new going on??? Very odd that the hash rate went high so fast in the last couple of days

No.

Did you see how long it took from the first mutterings of an scrypt ASIC to seeing the first ones? That was for a single ASIC for a single algo.

X11 uses 11 algos.  You'd need to design 11 ASICs, and then go through all the rest of the process of PCB design and all that ...

I honestly doubt we will ever see an X11/13/15 ASIC miner.  The cost would GREATLY outweigh what you could earn with it I'm sure ...

they said the same thing about scrypt asic's but look at us now hehe

nobody but the asic companies knows the true price it costs to pump these units out...and if their making tons of money off ltc asic's they just might do it to try Tongue
284  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Sell A2 Terminator 86 mhs Scrypt Asic miner. 2 Avalible in hand. on: July 31, 2014, 10:54:24 PM
2x 54mh/s war machine hosted for 1900 = 108mh/s ya maybe more power but ya get more hash too Tongue
285  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - innovative professional cryptocurrency cloud mining service on: July 31, 2014, 10:40:46 PM
Take it easy, we are not under attack (yet), but so many miners joined us recently that we were completely unprepared for the sudden hash increase. We are working on a solution.

avg. 12 day highest payout pool Smiley let the flood gates open Wink hehe, I'm one of them now Grin

Pretty much done here.

Look at nicehash.

The profits here are no longer good.

If I had kept an eye on profits I would have been gone weeks ago...

http://poolpicker.eu/text.php

As you wish, but let me warn you that NiceHash will be closing soon, since they are getting their asses sued off for being a bunch of scammers and thieves.

while i don't like what they did...but i highly doubt anything will come of it...look at the asic companies...are any of those thieves actually paying out one red cent they stole? i doubt it Smiley might as well get ROI off crazy ppl who are willing to pay that premium to hash...can't believe ppl are actually paying those high rates...what is the point? do they like throwing their money away?

ugh...why u make it so hard to join this pool with gridseeds/blades/windows Sad been searching for 2hrs trying to find anything to make this work Sad really don't wanna read this whole thread just to not find an answer either...

Contact info@nicehash.com with your details of mining software + your IP and you will get assistance.

i just get rejects Sad i can't get anything to come up that isn't cgminer..ugh i so wanna mine on this pool seeing your the highest paying right now Sad someone needs to fork a cgminer for nicehash Grin for gridseeds/blades i have a war machine hosted that is on here but i have no idea how they do it...

For gridseeds/blades/windows try either:
- latest BFGminer from https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=626361
- or this cgminer version: http://cryptomining-blog.com/2396-download-the-latest-cgminer-3-7-2-with-support-for-gridseed-gc3355-asics/
- if you're compiling from source take a look here for the links: https://www.nicehash.com/software/

thxs tried lastest bfg...doesn't reconize the orbs/blades or really anything...just gives me 1 thing n says it over n over...tried various cmd lines...
cgminer will work but not on this pool...i get 100% rejects..which the site says 3.7.2 doesn't work ya i get that...really nothing works for me Sad
been trying everything i can think of to make this work...VM linux box on my lappy that has the blades/orbs on it, doesn't wanna even start one..no clue why just errors out...VM linux box on my main computer...works fine...ubuntu 14 but i really have no idea how to compile it from source...every time i try it does it but have no scrypt support even with the flags...even was gona try minera on the ubuntu but that won't load either...why oh why does this have to be so hard? can't there be like a mining proxy i could use or something to make this much more easier?

You can try to use my proxy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=611338.0

It just needs java >= 7 to be installed (windows/linux: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html or Debian/Ubuntu: apt-get install openjdk-7-jre)

It will allow you to use cgminer 3.7.2 with Nicehash through the Getwork protocol (since cgminer 3.7.2 can not be used through a proxy or Nicehash with the stratum protocol) :
-Download and unzip the proxy package: https://github.com/Stratehm/stratum-proxy/releases
-Configure the proxy: you can use the stratum-proxy-full-sample.conf configuration file from the proxy package as a starting point. (Default configuration is fine, just modify the pool list you want to use)
-Only for Scrypt pools, set the option
Code:
 "isScrypt" : true
in the configuration file.
-Then, run the proxy with the command line
Code:
 java -jar /path/to/stratum-proxy.jar -f /path/to/configuration/file
-Finally, configure cgminer to use Getwork: PoolUrl: http://ipOfProxy:8332, User: whateverYouWant, Password: whateverYouWant
-You can access the GUI with your browser on http://ipOfProxy:8888

Thanks...I'll give that a try Smiley a lot easier then what I've been trying

Have you tried the latest cgminer for gridseed:

https://github.com/dmaxl/cgminer/releases

just tried it...i think it is working...its saying accepted and not saying share target to high like before...but the new release doesn't show A or R so i have no idea...guess i'll have to wait 10min or so n check the site...i'll still probably have to use the proxy for my other hashs since those are hosted and don't wanna mess anything up since it takes forever for the guy to help me since he is sooo busy...and he thought he could mine with a busy lifestyle lol...course he can't host that well if something goes wrong either Sad oh well thanks to both of ya if i get this working...would like to make more then .04 btc a day with 80mh/s...pretty sad when 54mh/s on here beats 80mh/s on clever Sad

EDIT: just check site...yep its working...TYTYTY!!! whew that was a nightmare to try n figure out...but that is just the start of the battle
EDIT2: ok wasn't as bad as i thought it was gona be...just entered in pool info for rest of units and they all seem to be working fine now Grin Thanks all Smiley

good luck switching nonhosted units over to nicehash...its not like a regular pool...guess ya need certain mining software or some that works with that pool...been putz'in around with it for a cpl hrs now...think i'm bout to give up Sad oh well

Just got paid nice payouts today.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=698679.msg7923839#msg7923839

I have been busy today I have not had a chance to try to switch my 14 in house gridseeds to nicehash. maybe on thur I can do it.

ya i tried for 5hrs to get 4 orbs to mine there...no dice...idk about nicehash...their trust sucks and alotta forum member are sueing them for their scammy ways...oh well least my war machine got 0.0566215 BTC payout  Shocked and still looking at .058 payout maybe for tonight Grin

Edit: my 80mh/s made less then my war machine on clever Sad even if they are shady...hot damn those are some high payouts

EDIT2: well i got some of my hashes over there...for your 14 blades...if your using a zencontroller or pi with that image on it...you can just use that pool without any problem...i just switched over my blades to it and its working fine...now orbs is a different story but found a win cgminer that will play nice with that pool...but i have feeling i missed all the great payout of the pool as i think it'll start going down now Sad

i told ya to do that from last raffle Tongue

I got .039 btc for nice hash...now the expected payout says .046 lol i hope i get that Cheesy

Yeah it moves around a bit.  Multipool seems to struggle.  A while back Multipool and bitminter thread were arguing that multipool's software under preforms. Multipool left in a huff.

I gave multipool 1 day here and they did badly.  I am not dissing multipool, but for my scrypt I will use nicehash.

https://www.nicehash.com/

they predict .9723 -1.1795 btc for a gh of scrypt right now  that is about a 1.075   btc payout for 1000 mh.

  I have 31 mh  so  31/1000 x 1.075 = .033325 btc  for me

for you  52/1000 x 1.075 = .0559 btc     but  that is now if they slow on blocks it drops.

So far they are having a good day today.

Ya I think I'll stay on nice hash...might even move over my other 80mh/s too
