281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshibet | Lightning Network | Provably Fair | No Registration | Trollbox on: March 12, 2019, 10:10:00 PM
You should add link to your project.
And deposits in which crypto do you accept?

Any other questions you are having about Satoshibet's project using Lightning Network is mostly likely answered at the base site:

Since they are using that network they have to follow specific rules for cryptocurrency proper procedures.
Thank you! Honestly, I have never come across lightning network, it will be useful to read about it

Hello everyone,

First of all, our username isn't Satoshibet because the forum doesn't allow usernames with the keyword 'satoshi'.

We're launching a CS:GO like provably fair roulette game built on the Lightning Network. We think this is the best platform/layer for games as in many cases, the transaction fees are many times superior to what some users are wiling to play with. Also payments are instant and with zero fees. We hope that provides a good user experience.

Our trollbox has a tipping bot so in case you don't have a lightning wallet yet, you can still have some fun. Hopefully a few free sats will incentivise you enough to start using the Lightning Network  Cheesy So ask around maybe someone will be generous enough!
For example, if you want to send a 100 satoshi tip to a user named "Mark" all you have to do is write the following on the chat:
/tip Mark 100

To demonstrate we're provably fair, our seeding event will be similar to Bustabit's, which can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2807542.0

The 10,000,000th element of our chain is:
472ad555627ec1273800230edfcbdd6408f3907ee5b0522c29c8becca2ef77c8

Next, we'll pick a #Bitcoin block, yet to be mined. We'll do so today so, after we pick it, please quote/timestamp this message.

Edit:
Before being used to calculate the corresponding result each game hash is salted with the lowercase hexadecimal string representation of the hash of bitcoin block 566820. This block has not been mined yet proving that we have not deliberately picked a chain that is unfavourable for players. You can check the current block height at https://blockstream.info/

- Provably Fair
- Lightning Network
- Instant Deposits and Withdrawals
- No Fees
- Trollbox
- Tipping bot
- No ICO

This is just a first iteration. In the future depending on it's success we might add more features like prizes and new games (for now that isn't part of our plans).
Hope you'll enjoy it  Smiley

-Satoshibet Team

Quoted

Question - Why did you choose this particular block?
283  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshibet | Lightning Network | Provably Fair | No Registration | Trollbox on: March 12, 2019, 08:14:24 PM
I think there are other site that let player bet on cs:go matches so it would be hard for your site to compete but if the site is what the bettors will expect then this will be a big achievement for the site with these features. Is the site not ready yet? If not, I suggest that you should add the site for the bettors to check out the site explore, it also helps you guys to fix if there's a problem in the site.
I think they want to show a ready-made version of the product. About fixing problems - think, that they got developers who will do this

I remember another casino website with the same name back in 2015-16 period. The domain name was satoshibet. Com. Even though I am not able to find the correct thread for that casino, I am able to fetch some discussions on it.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1620503.0

Is it the same company you are representing that is on the verge of reincarnation? Or is it a completely new entity?
Maybe they just have the same name, I think, TC would say if it were reincarnation

You should add link to your project.
And deposits in which crypto do you accept?

We will share the link once everything is ready!

We only accept Bitcoin payments through Lightning Network. If you wish to deposit you'll be prompted with a lightning invoice
Thanks for the answer.
I look forward to running the project to try it  Smiley

287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ethereum Classic ‘Numbers’ Lotto on: March 12, 2019, 03:23:37 PM
..Ethereum Classic is somehow familiar to me,,if I remember,,I join their airdrop last 2017..but it is for coin listing and development,,i don't know if it reach its success..How is this game related to ethereum classic??
this is the one i'm refferring too.. https://ethereumclassic.org

ETC is the original Ethereum before it hardforked into the ETH we see today.
I think they chose ethereum classic because it is the original and mined on the chain which is somewhat less congested then ethereum(ETH) is. So it is easier to predict then that chain.
I know many more people are jumping on this chain since the update happened lowing the reward of ethereum given per mined block but ETC reward has not changed. It is still 4 ETC per block mined hence people not abandoning mining it like what happened at the beginning of the month to ETH.
Reward is 4 ETC per block and has not changed, but price of ETC was dropped from 20 USD to 4 USD.

I wonder how come OP came with this pay scale? I want to know the way behind it. The scale is not working accordingly with the possibility/chance.

Although I also wouldn't recommend someone trusting such forms of gambling started by newbies unless there is someone trusted involved.
Pay scale is very low, as I think. I met similar projects where the payment was much higher.
Agree, waiting for reviews from old users.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker Agent WANTED- 60% Rake - Elite Poker Grinders on: March 12, 2019, 12:24:56 PM
I can not register on the website?

So it is a secret, secret poker playing network? Cheesy
Lol. Are you serious? You need to download the android or IOS app in order to check it out which is not a big secret or anything and it is pretty clear on the main page of the website itself.

The app seems to have favorable reviews on Android which is why I might check it out soon.
Just checked app for android. Interface is clear, app is not freezing. A lot of positive feedback proves that the app is worthwhile.

Never tried an Ethereum Classic on-chain betting. I am a little bit confused here, How do we make bets using CoinGate?. I am sure that this is completely legitimate betting since it is handled through CoinGate. In your other thread it says, website is coming soon. Do we have to wait until then? I am completely a techno-retard when it comes to altcoins and tokens. A step by step instruction on how to bet would me very much appreciated.
The OP should have put the how to play button in the main home page rather than putting it somewhere else in the site waiting to be press by players who need to learn on how to bet. My opinion in this game is the same as other lotto which is base on luck in winning as we are guessing what number will be shown in a block hash.
I am not an expert in such games, but for me the betting process is made user-friendly and very easy to understand

You can just choose a bet amount, and then pay this amount via BTC, XRP, ETH or LTC.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: EosPick | 1st Lottery Dapp on EOS | Recruit for High Rewards Affiliates on: March 12, 2019, 10:42:10 AM
Author of this post hasn't been active since September but, the website is well designed and still running. There are only two login options, with scatter account and private key. Live bets can be seen on the website so, the site doesn't seem to be abandoned. As caroll said, OP might had some reasons to leave the forum. There are no activity buy this user after October 2018 on any platform (Twitter, Medium)
Maybe developers just stopped marketing. They think that there is no need for marketing and the project is already successful.

Successful does not mean that they should stop doing marketing/advertising. We have seen many other successful projects in this gambling industry but they are doing marketing and advertising non-stop. Simply because they want to be more and more successful and it is a part of competition.
Each site owner has got his own strategy, not everyone chooses non-stop advertising of his platform.
294  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for testers "btc" "multi currency" "poker" on: March 12, 2019, 10:25:54 AM
..it is better to have a site that we can reffer too before making a transaction in you..as what saying said to see is to believe,,if we can see your poker site, then maybe there will be a lot of tester would apply in your proposal..
If topic creator is looking for testers, maybe it meens, that his website is in beta version and he dont want to share it.
295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker Agent WANTED- 60% Rake - Elite Poker Grinders on: March 12, 2019, 10:15:41 AM
What is your website URL?

Anyway, almost every gambling site has their affiliate feature which of course work but if you are really looking to use the traffic of this forum then consider running a signature campaign, if you know what I am saying.

Cheers :-)

Looking at his other thread, I believe the site is pppoker.net
It is not their own site, probably he is just an agent looking for downline agents. I have little knowledge about how this site works but I wonder why there are many people trying to advertise this site as an agent.

Hello, Actually you are correct as it being PPPoker software. However we are not an agent trying to bring agents. Our Club is brand new from scratch. We are recruiting to build our own set of players.
Are you offering lendings or other promo materials for your agents?
296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ethereum Classic ‘Numbers’ Lotto on: March 12, 2019, 09:58:16 AM
By the way, if we look at other similar games. The payout here is lower, I will use chainbet for an example. In chainbet, we only need to predict the last digit of the block hash, correct prediction will win 10x while here we will only win 3x for 1 correct prediction, 5x for 2 correct prediction and 20x for predicting 3 last digits. This means that this game has so high house edge. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have no exact idea how much is the house edge, but the comparison between two sites shows how high the house edge of this new site.
Pretty great comparison. This makes chainbet a much more lucrative option when compared to this lotto where the odds are heavily stacked towards the house.

The $5 minimum bet is another barrier which needs to be dropped to something like $1-$2 making it much more accessible to interested gamblers.
I think, even 1 - 2 USD is pretty high minimum bet, maybe even 10k satoshi minimum bet will be sufficient.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Disorder (Compulsive Gambling, Pathological Gambling) on: March 12, 2019, 09:48:15 AM
Info is interesting, but section of the forum is wrong, as in my opinion. "Gambling discussion" is the correct section.
298  Economy / Gambling / Re: Ethereum Classic ‘Numbers’ Lotto on: March 12, 2019, 09:31:51 AM
So we need to only predict the last 3 digits of the selected block's hash. Hm, it's too difficult to do since there are too many possibilities to see what will the last 3 digits.
It will be great if the price can be lower than $5 Grin
I am curious about the win money, is it goes to bitcoin again, or it depends on the payment we made before or is it goes to ethereum classic?
You can predict only 1 digit and your deposit will be multiplied 3x. Agree, 5 USD minimum bet is a lot for brand new site.

Your website is broken. And if you want to create signature campaign - post new thread in "services" section of the forum.

Previously you asked something which is expired and now you are suggesting something for an inactive user/project. What is the point of suggesting them to run signature campaign while the owner is not active anymore? Even worse, you said it yourself that the site is broken. Is it logic to suggest a signature campaign for a broken or dead project?
user was online about 40 days ago, this does not mean that the account was abandoned forever. About broken website - maybe they just not paid for the domen.
