Only 280 LTC can put cryptsy prices pushed to 350. 280LTC equal to 7 BTC! ! ! ! ! ! Pushing cryptsy up to 350(9 satoshis) is useless though. You'd just be overpaying while you can still buy at 4 on mintpal. Cryptsy price would just fall back down to where it is now. I know that Chinese people can buy the mintpal of zeit out quickly, this is a chain reaction! Please believe me! I just poor people have no way to operate! does zeit mean anything in chinese? |

Did anything ever happen with CryptoRush.in lost coins? I was never reimbursed.
the new owners are getting the site sorted out first then compensating but not sure if you have to contact them first I never used that shitty exchange after seeing why they became popular Yeah it was a terrible exchange for sure, but some coins could only be bought through it so I used it a little bit. I emailed the original email that was listed on CryptoRush.in for compensation, but never got a response. might be worth sending a new ticket to them I also lost a quarter of a million ZEITS on Cryptorush so how can i get compensated? Is ther a multipool for ZEIT like bc and fac? there is indeed zeitpool.zeit-coin.com also i think thread title should be updated to include NOW MULTIPOOL or something similar  |

Not sure I followed all that, but it seems to me it's the ask wall at mintpal that will hold zeitcoin down. The price at cryptsy will roughly mirror that. While it's currently a little cheaper to buy on cryptsy for ltc at current exchange rates, the fees are higher there and the ltc/btc price is pretty volatile. Aiming the pool to buy from mintpal is the right choice imo.
I've got 24 MH/s on Vertcoin at the minute. Equivalent is about 60 MH/s on the multipool, is it worth me switching? My electricity bill is about £85 to £90 a day. it would be awesome if you could help us get some momentum. i am putting 6.5mh/s on the zeitpool tonight |

why should mintpal be bad? if someone wants to dump his coins he will do it.. doesnt matter on which exchange just because coins get dumped its not because of mintpal, its because of the coin  thanks for using your brain. i never got the whole "exchanges are bad!" outlook. |

Any update on the heartbleed bug fix for the wallet? Said they were looking into it a couple pages back. There may be more info on their progress at the zeitcoin forums. I haven't checked there for updates yet. its relatively safe for coin wallets. if youre feeling paranoid just keep the wallet off for a week |

There are some coins trying to 'change the world' right now such as Auroracoin, Mazacoin... The concept of these coins is either taking banks (like the Iceland Central bank) or institutions (like the US Federal govt) head on... But Zeitcoin on the other hand, just seems like a fanclub for people that watched the movies. More than a superficial link to something such as the Venus Project would help as well. As it is I don't see a reason to support this coin. And I have edited together a version of the Zeitgeist films ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL38F982A25DC690C0) and promoted it both on my channel and on a website I used to run so it's not as though I haven't done anything for this Zeitgeist 'movement'. If I'm missing something then by all means fill me in. You could say the same about nearly any crypto. Is litecoin changing the world? I don't see how, it's not even asic resistant anymore, yet it has the second highest market cap. You specifically mentioned Auroracoin, but many see that coin and it's 50% premine as a dubious proposition at best. The coins are going to be airdropped to the little people of Iceland? Really? Seems like it could do a great deal more harm than good if the original plan isn't seen through. Mazacoin is permanently inflationary and it's value is on a steady decline. Sure any of these could change the world, but it seems unlikely. I don't see that they have any greater chance to do so than Zeitcoin. I can't speak for others, but I like Zeitcoin's specifications. I like the hybrid pow/pos distribution model and the potential energy savings they represent and yes I like the Zeitgeist inspired theme as well. But that's all it is though, a 'theme'. If you support the message of the Zeitgeist films, then you should support coins that actually pose a threat to the powers that be. Auroracoin is taking a unique approach to eventually replacing a nation's fiat currency. The nation in question is well targeted, given their problems in the past with banks and with restrictive controls on their money movements. Likewise for Mazacoin there is a message with the coin that the sovereignty of Native tribes reservations has not been respected and the currency is a step forward for their independence. Zeitcoin has nothing but a superficial attachment to the thing it is supposed to represent, so anyone that thinks holding ZEIT is some kind of political statement is just fooling themselves. zeitcoin is 1 month old and you want it to bring down the powers already? have a little patience. |

at this point it would be wise to just setup a litecoin pool for zeitcoin stakeholders to mine on and have to pool owner convert to ztc. surely that cant be too hard.
