Hmm. The only news is that the coin dev said that the rumours that it may be being added to BTC-E soon are true. i.e. yes, it may be added, because they have applied to btc-e, and gives a suggestively worded description of the application process. That's it. And all the usual fontas-esqe shills, pumpers and con artists are tweeting it like crazy as if it's being added for sure while everyone sells into their inflated walls.

CryptCoin is going on BTCe, could be a big deal.

Im kind of curious to know if the dev's trade around this info or halt their trading activity day of patches? It can be dangerous to play in these games when this is the case. I have no reason to believe but have the dev's assured anyone that they don't trade off the knowledge?

I think, and it may be totally inaccurate, that he's probably seen something in a debug log that makes him believe the issue may reoccur. And 15 minutes are indeed not acceptable (2.5m x 6 conf = 15m...) You don't want to have 15-20 minute fork issues. It's beyond the confirmation window.
