281  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔹1win.pro 🔹| iGaming Platform | Crypto&Fiat | Bonus +500% To the first deposit on: April 08, 2022, 08:58:13 PM
Did anyone tried that Bonus 100 $ or € for app installation already from the link FREEMONEY above their website? I'm more interested to know before registering  Grin

Huh Huh Hope you were reading the thread well. The OP and the platform itself have tons of red flags and questionable features such as not including their license on their website while having tons of mirror links. No one in this forum would even dare risks their information and time for a platform that doesn't even addresses the issues both here in forum and on their telegram channel.

~
thanks for clearing up my question and thanks for bringing up more questions about their website.
~

Well I got another finding with regards to the matter. Seems that the OP is another account of 1win. 1win already registered in the forum way back in 2021 and last posted in feb 12 2022, then 1win.pro was created with a copper member subscription solely to post announcement with images like such the main post here. 1win is I guess their start account not knowing they need to member up hence they created another account for a copper and proper posting (?).

1win - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3421757

Seemed that his last posts are just observing how the forum works. But then again, regardless of how well they do, their transparency will just be their key to have great audiences from the forum.

One thing that caught my eyes here is from their OP claiming they have more than 5M users worldwide! I don't think they even have half the number of it. Even the top and very active casinos here in the forum don't dare to claim they have 1M users on board. So this alone for me is a warning flag. Claiming to have that number of users with shady allegations towards them. Now, if the OP is serious about coming back here, they need to address even small issues and answer the questions adequately.
To the players, don't be tempted with their 500% deposit bonus, need to check the feedback and the conditions of this bonus.
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ SicoDice.com ⭐ High Faucet ⭐ Deposit Bonuses ⭐ Daily Contests ✅ ⭐⭐⭐ on: April 08, 2022, 07:48:08 PM
You shouldn't be claiming that you have a "faucet" if it is just for purpose of testing the game! Some fun coins would be enough for this.

Quote from: sicodice FAQ
What is Faucet?

The Faucet feature allows you get some amount of cryptocurrency to play with for FREE. The purpose of the Faucet is to test the game with zero risk prior to depositing.

After reaching the minimum withdrawal amount, you can send a withdrawal request.

Not entirely accurate, at least according to your Terms & Conditions:

Quote from: sicodice.com
10.4 Deposit lacking amount for Withdrawal after Faucet win will be counted as an abuse and can be subject to an account ban and funds confiscation.

In my understanding, you are not actually allowing withdrawals from a faucet wins unless they are preceded by a deposit.

It means if minimum withdrawal amount is 0.0007 BTC and you win 0.0002 BTC through faucet, you are not allowed to deposit 0.0002 BTC to reach the minimum withdrawal amount.
You must play until you reach the minimum withdrawal amount.

Nevertheless, I find the rule to be a little vague and the punishment too harsh. Someone can simply make a honest mistake if they don't understand the rules well, but you still get to confiscate all funds. I understand you want to prevent faucet abuse, but I think a better measure would be a wagering requirement for all deposits.

This needs to be addressed immediately as there are players that will really try to use their faucet. Because some won't deposit first because of trust issues. Better be clear if they need deposit first before withdrawal of winnings from the faucets, and if the deposit needs at least 1x wagering requirement. If they are not clear about this, this may possibly give them a headache later on.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger awaits Metaverse coins on: April 07, 2022, 11:38:27 PM
Come to think of it, there is no metaverse project that's completed yet, they are all hanging on to their BETA self, if the bear market comes hard this time around I think metaverse coins will dip so much that the hype won't be no more until a project finally have a complete metaverse tech in action.

Why just Metaverse, we can pretty much say that about all the technologies in the crypto space.
Whether it be NFTs, Dapps, DeFis etc... Every platform will have an impact on it and will face the dump.
But I think that now since the market is recovering a little we might not see the bear trend we were anticipating.
If things keep going like this then may be in the next 2-3 months we might get back to the 60k range.
Well, everything that are in hype right now will probably fade away and lose their value after some time. Of course, this is not just for metaverse but definitely for all that experiencing hype right now. But the good thing about this metaverse, those who have taken advantage in its early days are now experiencing profits. However, when it comes to its projects, until now they have not proven their value in the market so might as well, these projects are just the same with the old shitcoins and meme coins who have never experienced their best days in the market because they suddenly disappear.

In the crypto world, new trends always emerge, therefore NFT or Metaverse coins will one day be replaced with something new. It's the same thing
when ICOs, IEOs and DeFi were finally abandoned by investors who started turning to NFT and Metaverse. In this world nothing lasts forever,
as is the current trend, so take advantage of projects that are currently hype for short-term profit. Don't even think about long-term investments
in projects that only rely on hype to get them up. So there is nothing wrong with investing in Metaverse coins now, it will give us profit if
we understand how the crypto world works. So we know when to buy and sell Metaverse coins, which is definitely too risky if investing in
Metaverse coins in the long term.

If you know what you're doing, you can very well invest on meta projects. But yes, you should know to what extent you will hold these tokens or coins. As new hype is always at bay, you should also bear in mind that once the hype is over, their value can very well decline fast. So holding long-term in this market is hard to do as when new hype comes, the old one got ignored most of the time.
284  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Beware of godex.io exchange "SCAM" 58 ETH on: April 07, 2022, 10:34:26 PM
You will need to provide much more detail if you would like your claim to be taken seriously. Try to explain clearly exactly how you think they scammed you.

Can you still login to your account? If possible try to get as many screenshots as you can from the Account area that could shed some light on what is going on.

I can say that's a lot of money. Much better if he can still log in and get the snapshots that those txs were credited to his account. He should have tested with small amount first before sending those big amounts. I don't know what the OP is thinking but honestly, I never heard of that exchange. They have good reviews in trustpilot - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/godex.io, but we don't know what percentage of them are legit ones.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful around massive APY projects on: April 07, 2022, 10:00:29 PM
This is an old scheme that offers higher return in just a short period of time and we already know that its too good to be true, don’t invest on that because they are a scam. That kind of APY is too high, many will surely attract on that but hopefully they wont invest right away and do their own research first. I’m not into this kind of project anymore, I lose money before because of this and I will not do the same mistake again.

If it is too-good-to-be-true, then, doubt their authenticity as well as longevity of the project. Usually, they want to attract investors because of those high APYs, but you will find out very soon that they will stop distributing dividends because they can't sustain the platform, especially if they have no recruit anymore. So it is better to invest in lower APYs like in binance, but at least you know, you can really get the interest or dividends as agreed, and they won't disappear, that you are confident of.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's approval of BTC on: April 06, 2022, 11:48:32 PM
Which country is permanently approving this bitcoin? Me and all of us have seen Bitcoin from different countries being approved by someone and then not approved again after a while. As before, the Chinese government approved Bitcoin and banded it again. The Indian government has banned Bitcoin and banned it permanently. We want countries to approve bitcoin as they approve it permanently.

What I am seeing here is that those countries who are still banning the crypto market will soon alter their decision as they will be seeing that even though they ban this market, it will continue to proliferate outside their country. As more and more advanced countries are embracing the crypto market, they will question their regulations towards crypto, and they may possibly change their stance towards it.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: April 06, 2022, 11:02:43 PM
This is the reason why you need to avoid shitcoins and pick only Bitcoin if you want to start to invest on crypto space. After 13 years created, Bitcoin never ever scam anyone until now.
People who know well crypto investment must follow what you stated. Unfortunately, many beginners who don't have enough knowledge of crypto, are interested in the promotion of those shitcoins on varied social media. Sweet promises from shitcoins armies, lead many amateurs to buy at a nonsense rate. They always said that investing in those shitcoins will make you rich quickly, investing in Bitcoin needs a lot of time to gain profits.  Cheesy

Because a lot of these people are hoping that their initial investments will increase many folds. This is why they want to invest in like pump and dump coins. But the risk is very high in this type of coin. If you want an assurance that your money won't disappear, better opt for bitcoin. These fraudsters are the reasons why noncrypto users have negative connotation when it comes to bitcoin or crypto. But for example, bitcoin itself is not a scam. It is the people who are using it to their own gain are scammers.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best staking platform on: April 05, 2022, 11:56:46 PM
I have 12 million shiba inu tokens and I'm looking for a platform to stake the tokens for more tokens which platform is the best for staking shiba inu for 30 to 120 days maybe.
I didn't know you could stake shiba, do you mean farming? I don't know what kind of APY you can expect but NEAR has 13% staking rewards and ICP has 40% rewards, both without smart contract risks.

It is hard to trust a platform offering high percentage as you don't know if they will respect the percentage or not or in other cases, will they survive long? If I am the one who will stake SHIB, I will trust it in binance as they are reputable and have insurance. Right now, they are offering about 12% APY for 120 days. And with the OP's SHIB amount, he can get already a good return.

289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 05, 2022, 11:31:48 PM
Two facts that repel users from using Bitcoin ATM: 1) exchange fees are usually higher compared to making similar exchange on  exchanges, with users help or by using telegram bots (for example) 2) they dont offer 100% anonymity right now (have cameras close to where ATM is installed or ask to receive SMS for deal verification).

I would have used Bitcoin ATM, if there were one close to me. I definitely not gonna go there on purpose, as buying Bitcoin ATM from home is still more comfortable.
I did not mind the cameras, I mean I could be known that I am getting bitcoin from there, I have KYC from the exchanges that I use anyway so that doesn't really matter, they could literally have a copy of my ID card and I would be fine about that.

However, the fact that they charge more than regular exchanges means a lot, they have less competition. Exchanges have a huge amount of competition and that causes the fee's to drop, but ATM's do not have that, which is why they are expensive. Once up on a time I tried to get 750 dollars worth of bitcoin, and what I got was 680 dollars worth. The difference was 70 dollars! that is just not doable, not a good thing at all, never used it ever again.

The fees I believe, is one of the topmost consideration of most crypto users. Because these days, we can now trade and buy at different CEXs at a lower fee. Using BTC ATM is more on just convenience for me. Because let us admit that the fees using ATM is different from when you are using online trading platforms.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, wants to give away 99% of his money on: April 05, 2022, 09:56:11 PM
An admirable and noble act on his part for not wanting to accumulate enough wealth and enjoy all the fine things in life which his money can obviously buy.
Is he going to donate to a charity organisation? That's the most logical way to spread the money across to reach the less privilege.
Am a bit surprised to read this, most people nowadays (especially the rich are always looking for ways to maximize their wealth) it is a generous act I must say.

I believe, I already read a dedicated thread for him. But anyway, I really do admire his philosophy in life. At his early age, he realized that money or wealth won't really give him the true happiness in life. Even if we say, he is only keeping 1% of his wealth, he can already live decently by that amount. And the self-satisfaction comes from giving up most of his wealth to those who are in need. True that most rich people want to make more money for themselves, but Sam is a rare breed. I hope others will follow so we can lessen this poverty experienced by a lot of people around the globe.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the top crypto influencers on: April 04, 2022, 11:54:56 PM
Who are the top crypto influencers  to follow in twitter

Is that a serious question?  The last thing you want to do is follow some type of influencer.  They are all driven by greed and will push anything they are getting paid to push.  Better off digging through the available data online, learning crypto on your own and then when you are comfortable with your knowledge follow people that align with your thinking.  Otherwise you will be burned.  Don't be one of those.
There are a lot of crypto influencers around but are they really helpful? I guess not really. Most of them do not give us the benefits, because they are the ones benefiting from their paid contents. Instead, have your own way by exerting more efforts from gathering all free datas online and learn from them. If you want to be successful in crypto, influence yourself to work harder so you will be improved and become profitable, and do not let others influence you.

I can say, one twitter influencer is Elon Musk, now that he announced having a 9.2% stake at twitter - https://edition.cnn.com/2022/04/04/investing/elon-musk-twitter-shares-stake/index.html, making him the largest shareholder. Even if he is not expert in crypto market, his tweets are quite making a wave in terms of whichever coin he is tweeting. But of course, you don't need to follow the hype surrounding on his every tweet. It is still up to you how you will react on his tweets.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 04, 2022, 11:36:05 PM
People that is holding bitcoin do you have when you will sell, the answer is yes, because any investor have target, and the target can be when the price of bitcoins go up times of the money use to buy his own bitcoin, some people invest for long time because they needed a very big profit
I do only see for it to be worth on long time waiting is to those people who had bought bitcoin on a very low price and not on past $20k or something considering on how many percentage you would only

gain up for waiting up for so long thats why some people do decided to sell it on earlier and buyback when it do makes out some correction. So its actually depending on someones capacity
and decision making whenever they do tend to cash out or secure profits or would hold a little bit further since they havent able to hit their target or goal.
So let them be on what would be their decisions because what matter most here or the common line would be "profit is profit" no matter how small it is.

The financial capability sometimes is the main deciding factor for a holder when to sell his bitcoin. If you happen to be of need of your fiat, and you have no other options but to cash out, you will. Even if you say, you want to hold long term because you believe it will go up more. However, your situation is not favoring your goal. For me, as long as you are getting your profits, like you said, no matter how small it is, I already considered it as winning. Sometimes, you need to be contented to what you can make out of your situation.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 04, 2022, 10:22:26 PM
Ok here is the latest odds from sportsbet:

So Murata is still 4:1 underdog in this fight, and it also reflects the poll results. And I also don't think that there will be some home cook decision in this fight. Japanese are not known to be biased, so I expect a fair fight in the eyes of the judges.

I think that even this odds 1.2 can be considered generous for a bet on the victory of GGG. The difference in age is negligible and the difference in class is huge. Most likely, bookmakers give such a coefficient simply on the basis that the aging GGG will misfire in approximately the upcoming 4-5 fights simply because of his age and insufficient mood (now he is far from young and must mobilize all his strength for victories).

But for Murata fans, betting on this odds will be favorable for them. A lot of boxing matches ended up upset so won't be surprised if this one will turn out to be another one. I know, there are so many GGG fans here but we don't know what kind of preparation both are doing. Sometimes, it is all in the preparation. And yes, even if this will happen in Murata's home country, I am confident that they will do the right things here. Japanese people are one of the honest people that I know of.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger - how to keep processing fees low? on: April 03, 2022, 11:55:29 PM
0,75 % sounds good, thank you very much.
I actually also don't care about transaction times. Even if it takes a month. For now want to do long term investments.
The cheaper, the better Wink.

But make sure that you are dealing a legit platform. Because the long waiting time will give you doubt if they will ever send you money. This is why, in most instances, I prefer to use a trading platform with very good liquidity because your orders are getting executed fast and you can get your funds fast also. The fees are just secondary if you want an assurance that you can get your money back. I can also vouch for binance p2p, I have been using their services for quite a while now instead of my local exchange. Surprisingly, the rates are good and you can get your funds in your own currency very fast.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a medium for donations on: April 03, 2022, 11:26:24 PM
A very famous usecase for Bitcoin are already donations and Bitcoin as a medium for donations is gaining more support currently.
Bitcoin has a big advantage to make it an excellent choice for donations: Bitcoin is easily accessible, it’s fast and it’s a global network. Especially Bitcoin’s global network is a big game changer in favor of Bitcoin because it can be sent boderless from country to country. It can be sent from Australia to Europe, from Asia to Africa, just everywhere, Bitcoin is accepted.
It is true. Bitcoin is different from any other currency because it has no limitations to send and use. This is probably the reason why Bitcoin is quite popular to be an option for donation. I think with the current imaging of Bitcoin or with the current impression, people will be no longer assume Bitcoin useless or only used for bad purposes. Bitcoin is already a famous media to use for donation purposes. People must change their mindset about Bitcoin.

Aside from that, donators who do want to be anonymous and not disclose their identity will be encouraged to place their donations. This is another advantage as you can send and receive anonymously. This is why a lot of crypto donations are pouring to Ukraine, anonymous donors sending their crypto to this country without the danger of exposing their identity to the public. You don't need to go to a third party institution just to send money and fill-up a form. If you have your crypto in your wallet, you can directly send it to them. But definitely, make sure that you are sending to the right people not to scammers.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia wants to build a new world order with China on: April 03, 2022, 10:58:47 PM
I think all this country's political or world leaders didn't understand that their national fiat currency is weakened by high inflation not only the USD because the world is changing to cryptocurrency and only naive people won't understand that fiat currency is becoming obsolete every day.
Having said that, I wonder how a country could be so confident about creating a new world order system with the thought that it will thrive when the world economy is already scribbled and the last time i checked the sanction which they resume to be hellish what to prevent their President from making a further wrong decision.

They are preventing a decentralized system as much as possible and we know how China and Russia controls their people so they are now taking actions so they can still have control over it especially with their fiat currency or else if crypto will become legal, this can be a big threat from them. Inflations are everywhere, this is pretty normal what not normal is the rapid increase of this which makes many currency devaluate.

Inflation will always be a part of any economic system. But they can mitigate its impact on how they are addressing this aspect. And from our situation right now, pandemic crisis and now with the war crisis going on between Ukraine and Russia, the whole world is feeling its impact more than in the previous years. So it is up to the government how can they slow down or at least diminish the influence of inflation factor to their economy. They can deploy their own strategy as at the end of the day, it is the common people that are highly affected by this economic situation.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Blockchain would you recommend? on: April 03, 2022, 10:35:08 PM
Solana was the best one for you. Fast growth ecosystem, so many support from the major exchange sites especially FTX, Very big popularity and many more. So many new developers are also starting to create their own dapps on the solana ecosystem. This is the most suitable blockchain for you and you can get a big support as there are also some popular launch pad platforms on solana as well. This is not on your list but you must also consider this as the best choice for now. Ethereum may be good but solana was also pretty similar as ethereum ecosystem.
It's better if you are starting to consider it right now.

Also, if the OP is serious in deploying their own project and has sincere business goals, choosing the right network is just secondary. Because if you have solid foundation to start with, you can basically deploy it to these top networks (at least with cheaper fees to attract more users) with not so much burden. So even if it is SOL or AVAX or MATIC, the success of the project depends on how the team itself will achieve those objectives. In this regard, I can say, it is not network-dependent.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 03, 2022, 10:00:06 PM
I am not an expert, but I sure know a thing about NBA teams and the current standings, and right now if we look by each conference we look at who's currently at number 1 but let's just get the teams that are currently on the 4th spot of each conference and for the Eastern Conference we have the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and the Philadelphia 76ers, While on the Western Conference we have the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors, and Dallas Mavericks, and for these teams, I can say that you can pick on these 8 teams and wait for the Semi-Finals before making your decisions,

But I will be biased here I say the Golden State Warriors will be the Champion, I am saying this because that is what I truly believe, even though Stephen Curry can not play right now the Golden State Warriors are still in a good play, even though they lost to the Celtics, Spurs, Magic without Stephen Curry they are not used to play without him but that will surely change with the changing game style of Jordan Poole, and Poole is playing on an all-star level, and along with Klay Thompson, Curry is not worried when he in-out, and that injury of Stephen Curry may become a blessing in disguise he surely needs a lot of rest before the playoffs and from that standpoint, a well-rested Stephen Curry is more efficient in shooting, so the Warriors needs to learn to play without Stephen Curry until he returns on April 12.

This is what I want to read. An analysis about what may possibly happen not just a guess which team will win. And if you will bet on Golden State, the odds is quite tempting if you truly believe that they can make it. And I do agree, it is better to wait for Semi-Finals so you will remove some of those teams which may not include in vying for the championship. So yes, let's wait for the Semi-Finals. The odds may change but at least you have a better chance of winning.
299  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 03, 2022, 09:25:01 PM
Gilbert's Research shows people from 18 to 68 underestimate how much they will change in the future, because of that they miss long term financial plans! What do you Think? Do you have any long term financial plans?

18-68 is a huge range. I don't think we can put all these people into one consideration. At 18 I had ko real financial plan for the future, that only came during my late 20s. University was very expensive for me and set me back many years financially. Before all these cost there was no real point in planning out the future. And even during university its hard to plan because you don't know how much money you will earn later.
The most important age to plan out future financial liabilities should be between 30-40, here we know how much money we make with some years of work experience and how much money we need to save for retirement. Doing long term financial planning at an age of 60+ seems not important to me anymore. At that age we leave the workforce soon, there is no real time left to make a lot of money for retirement.

Maybe, he should modify the age range like maybe 25-45. Because at 18, most are enjoying their life and not thinking about their future. Whereas, by the age 60 and above, you are already in the retirement age, so by then, you should have savings already. But in any case, so long savings and investments concept is inculcated with you, you can start early. And that you will reap the rewards early. But many of us will have realizations when we are already at 30s-40s, that we should have save as much as we can or invest our money wisely. Anyway, as long as we are living, there's a chance to change our path if we decide to.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Wallet KYC on: April 03, 2022, 08:52:26 PM
I thought Blockchain.com was a non-custodial web wallet. Can't you just take your seed phrase and import your wallet into another wallet, like Electrum?

[snip]
Well, this is possible --you can export your blockchain.com seed to Electrum.
This is a non-custodial wallet if they will enforce to ask KYC if I were in OP case, I will transfer to Electrum. They are paying $5 for that? Well, I cannot change my personal data into a $5 which is can risk my privacy. It is good if you will use other wallet platforms that should open-source wallets and the only answer is Electrum for this question.

In exchange of your info, they will have a "bonus" of $5. Nope, better use electrum, free and no KYC. But with today's crisis, a lot will still avail of that 5 bucks in exchange of their KYC details. The electrum wallet is a user friendly as you don't need big storage to get one. And you also have the full control of your coins. If you are a crypto user, better limit where you send your info. Even if we say, they have good intentions, we will never know where will these big data end up with down the road.
