282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the number of new investors reduce? on: April 25, 2024, 02:46:38 PM
The halving was a major event that attracted many new investors to bitcoins, some started investing seriously some months to the halving just so to make some profit from it.The halving was what attracted them, but now that the halving has come and gone, do you think that the number of new investors will reduce for the now until the next halving is close again?
Although the halving did not see much of a price change, investors will be as they wish to be. Some are in for the short game while some are in for the long. Hence the halving is just an event to them, they are concerned with the money they get in investing. Fund managers are often juggling the assets as per their profits and they are often the culprits who end up moving the market to a bear run after a expected bull event that did not happen - like what is happening now.

But we have to keep our vision clear, collect more bitcoin and hence wait for the bear run to set in with fiat ready at hand.
283  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 25, 2024, 02:38:19 PM
-snip-
I still remember the days when the base prize on the faucet roll of freebitco.in was around 300sats to start off with and then we would go to the casino attempting to multiply it and go bust. Bitcoin was in the range of 600-700$ at that time and everyone was talking about Ethereum and ICOs at that time with the forum beginning to boom with ICO based signature campaigns.

It has been a long way from that over the last 8years and indeed this site has shown resilience as other faucets have shut down long time back but they changed their strategy and ran nicely.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 25, 2024, 02:33:55 PM
I disagree partially. Skills do help to a great extent in any sport related betting(Not just football), but luck matters a lot too which is why it definitely is not a small thing as you mentioned.
Thing is that the luck even if 0.01% can turn the entire bet upside down and you skills will go down the drain. Gambling always has a luck factor involved and any skills or knowledge end up being inferior to it when it strikes. This concept is more theoretical than practical but regular players can make sense of what I am trying to convey.

So dont make gambling a regular thing, you will lose due to the luck factor often creeping out of the blue. And for EV- games, always play with money that you can afford to lose.
285  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining for Beginners on: April 25, 2024, 02:30:53 PM
would you please tell me what did you mean by " to hit that block once a while and reap the jackpot profit" ?
Being the one to add the candidate block to the blockchain while mining is what I meant to say there. If you are mining solo, the entire reward is yours to keep, but if you are mining in a pool, then your prize is distributed among the pool members. Some miners are mining solo or with a pool hoping they or the pool hits a block, which is rare and hence the term "jackpot".
286  Local / India / Re: India plans faster stock settlements to slow down crypto migration on: April 24, 2024, 05:25:50 PM
So yourself a stock investor,do you think this T+1 and T+0 is going to make any difference in the people who are into trading stocks?
For the day traders yes, they might want to move with quick delivery. I am a long term holder for stocks too, reaping the dividends on every quarter and hence it does not matter much to me at this point.

However the government is putting up a very far spectrum simile, crypto in India is not that mainstream yet. Still anything they do good with crypto is good for me.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: April 24, 2024, 05:22:46 PM
What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they be avoided?
The biggest mistake is taking gambling as a method to make money while it is actually fun and entertaining and should be kept limited to that only. Unfortunately people who hunting for free bitcoins often end up in these sites following a random affiliate link and then waste money on the games to lose everything.

Go to Vegas once a year and spend some money there but no need to login to casino everyday to attempt that.

This can easily be avoided, but without prior knowledge of how casinos work, this might take some time for naive people.
288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Casino and Sportsbook have the best UI? Which others can improve? on: April 24, 2024, 05:15:08 PM
There are situations in which we will have to make use of the practical experience of what we see with any gambling platform to judge on their performance on user interface, each platform has the way the have developed their own along with the site, while some don't even make any necessary efforts in doing anything than copying from what others have developed already for their own use.
Many of the currently running casino websites are actually having a similar template and hence we cannot rule out the fact that they are using each other as influence to design the next casino, not just copy it blatantly.

Most of them have a good interface, that keeps the gamblers addicted and makes them play more. Add to it the sounds and colors and you have a heaven for addicted gamblers indeed.

However interface is not the only thing, a lot of work goes in the team, its methods to resolve issues and support. All these when taken together, constitute a good casino.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: April 24, 2024, 05:08:20 PM
Man earns to manage his life and family well. Like we earn not only to keep investing bitcoins but we also earn to live happily with our family and wife, children. In this case we will never hold the bitcoins but we will meet our needs by selling bitcoins according to our needs. So everyone wants to live a nice life, so everyone sells more or less bitcoins and no one will ever hold bitcoins for life and never will.
There are many ways to approach this, you would ideally want to keep spending more on the fiat side compared to the bitcoin side, that includes converting the crypto to fiat too. Because of the possibility of bitcoin becoming huge in price as days go on, you have to limit the amount you put in to bitcoin every month. So you have enough fiat to spend if need arises but would rarely if ever have to touch your bitcoin.

That is enough to lead a happy family while your bitcoins keep growing in their number. Nobody holds their bitcoin for ever, they always need to sell at some point, and they do.
290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does your Sig-Camp Manager counts gambling posts that moved to off topic on: April 24, 2024, 05:02:44 PM
If the campaign does not pay for off-topic posts, then they are not going to counted, very simple.

It does not matter if the original post was in some other section, if the moderation decides to move it, there is remains as final for then. Hence try to evaluate if the thread matter is actually on topic or not, if it is not and your posting quota is not complete, reconsider posting a reply to the OP.

Regarding accidental finding outs of posts having been moved to Offtopic, it generally helps to recheck the posts in the last posting session every two or three days so you can add up more posts if such threads have been moved recently before the deadline is reached.
291  Local / India / Re: India plans faster stock settlements to slow down crypto migration on: April 23, 2024, 03:01:40 PM
As an old school investor, I have assets of different classes including most traditional assets and the more recent being crypto that too most bitcoin. Indeed the delayed delivery of stocks is something that is a stark difference with the delivery or cryptocurrencies which is also instant. Delivery of Forex also takes T+2.

But mind you majority of the Indian population are ignorant about trading and let alone crypto, they dont even know how to invest in FD or precious metals. They are spending way more than what they earn, so loan sharking apps are more common. So crypto in my opinion is way less of a treat, maybe SEBI has other statistics to back it up though.

Even then, once they start investing they will go for altcoins --> get washed out and then move back to non-investing states.
292  Local / India / Re: Raj Kundra-Shilpa Shetty in Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme Scam on: April 23, 2024, 02:57:25 PM
Raj Kundra's past has been shady before he shifted to India he was entangled in petty crimes in the UK. Mind you he is on bail in the porn case and now this new scam.
Does not really matter because soft porn is still rampant among the smartphone generation of India and is enough to make the rickshaw pullers and autodrivers on the road cream their pants without touching anything. But that is a topic for another discussion. Cool

Quote
I am unable to understand why Shilpa Shetty is still with this guy. She is an independent woman and can divorce this shady person for securing her future. I would not be suprised if he again goes to jail in this case and stays in for a long time.
You see most of these celebs are not married for love or anything, they are in it for some reasons like money, fame or dealings. You will never get this unless you delve into the dirty dealings of the underworld and trust me dont want to go down that route.

Of course there will be end to such ponzis and bitcoin being used in them. For sure no arrest and no case with happen and the case will get another "Tarikh" till eternity.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: April 23, 2024, 02:53:44 PM
Whatever events/circumstances that happen and someone wins or loses at a gambling game, does not necessarily mean that one influenced the other. This is magical thinking and is not scientifically explained. While it seem like an easy association to make and attempt to recreate that situation to demand luck from the universe, it does not work like that.

You are either lucky at one instant and unlucky at another - this is not influenced by anything. In gambling long term, the casino is always the winner.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impactation of Bitcoin halving and my opinion on: April 23, 2024, 02:50:05 PM
I think the halving's effect is still lying dormant, a lot of selling pressure against the buying pressure and the price remained under the current All-time-high?

To be honest, I dont see the halving times as good times to trade, or find an opportunity to trade because it is unpredictable but once the dust settles the bull or bear runs will initiate and then it becomes more fun.

Just let bitcoin grow as it is growing, unless we see more involvement from governments, growth will take time, a halving every four years has minimal impact.
295  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Best Crypto Investment Opportunities for Passive Income -2024 on: April 23, 2024, 02:44:36 PM
Logical question then is from where that 15% comes from? I surely hope they are not doing anything risky with pepple's money.

I mean, I know that freebitco has been around for many years, but much bigger players couldn't sustain even smaller returns so that's why this 15% seems to good to be true.
It is the reason why I have not yet get into this website, although I have been putting money on freebitcoin. The 4.08% Per annum is feasible but 15% does raise some eyebrows.

They might be having other methods to use that money that gives them higher gains. They will not reveal these things to us, but investors will have to accept that those are high-risk ventures but they are profitable and just accept what they get without further questions.

However the site is running well and no legitimate scam accusation against the site either. So invest but at your own risk, you never know what the future holds.
296  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: April 23, 2024, 02:40:20 PM
It's just because there many millions of bettors around the world, and at least a tiny portion of them would bet on anything.
The keyword here is the ability to be able to bet on "anything" - it is human nature to bet on things and observe how their predictions go big or bad and being able to make money from it increases the thrill in the risk taking.

Indeed it is possible to create such bets and see how much popularity that bet would gain. While there might be some sites doing this already, ordinals might have a limited lifetime, from what I can make out. However a site that takes that in as well as other markets might actually do better than one handling only narratives or ordinals.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affilate programs work in casinos? on: April 22, 2024, 01:15:56 PM
Affiliate or referral hunting is hard but once you do able to get up the right method and ways on how to hook up people to register under your link then this is something that could bring out that huge profits into you if those invites would really be all making a deposit.
It is close to a part time to full time job, not something you do out of the blue and end up making huge profits in one day. You have to identify your niche and the audience, what they want to read and SEO this and that. It is a lot of work indeed and not something for a newbie to start right away.

Most people who are successfully doing this are providing something in return too. Like sharing their reviews or making videos or discussing strategies (even if they are bullshit anyway).

That is who they engage the population visiting the site and eventually they convert to referrals.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: April 22, 2024, 01:09:47 PM
We don't need to keep showing people the prove why they need to invest in the crypto market.
That is one way of tackling it. Keeping others away from a profitable ventures means you can get the asset at cheaper prices and then sell on those people who they FOMO in on it. However most people are not into bitcoin because of the first reason being government grey zone on bitcoin and the second being cybersecurity related news having bitcoin in its mode of robbery.

While these things if looked with a deeper thought, clearly shows that bitcoin is not the culprit, most people dont want to get their hands dirty. I think we should encourage those who are willingly accepting bitcoin and wants to join in, but dont overdo it and end up being a laughing stock in the friend circle. After all, the fools make fun of others, wise people work quietly.

300  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining for Beginners on: April 22, 2024, 12:55:15 PM
Do check out the site whattomine, a simple search will lead you to website, there you can compare GPUs, ASICs to mine on specific algorithms and the coins supported on that algorithm, how they have been performing and what profits you can expect.

Dont think this to be a one shot winner thing, mining is almost a full time job if you want to be able to hit that block once a while and reap the jackpot profit. Decide on your electricity costs and maintenance costs, those go in the negatives while the return comes in the positive. A load of youtube videos are also there about mining, you can check those out too.

For beginners, I would suggest reading and learning about the process and the setup first and the costing. Its enough to throw your enthusiasm away, even though I am not trying to be mean, its the truth.
