Early thought on Iconomi's latest move:
You can think of the new arrangement this way: Iconomi will continue to play the role of a passive hedge fund investor, while cofound.it will take on the traditional functions of a venture capital firm.
To me, this move does make sense because it'll give "Iconomi the Brand" a bit of needed clarity. one of the problems I identified last month is that Iconomi was doing too many things at once: It was acting as an offshore hedge fund, venture capital firm, and a trading platform. (see my post from Feb. 24th).
Iconomi was trying too hard to be a "Jack of all trades." There is a downside to this approach of lumping every business activities under one name -- 1) it's easy to lose focus and get distracted by the side businesses, and not spend as much effort and energy on what's really making money for your core business, 2) the team might not be as effective because overlapping roles will create confusion to the team members' individual responsibilities, 3) your brand might suffer a clarify issue and will not be appealing to your potential customers. For instance, a startup company might not want to get involved with Iconomi because he thinks that Iconomi is just a digital platform and not a serious, traditional venture capital firm. This is the kind of "brand clarity" issue I'm talking about. This is what having a dedicated venture capital arm like cofound.it can solve.
That point of yours is really valid by my opinion. Focusing on core business and outsource what is not your corebusiness seems like a good idea |

All members must be patient. It's only March 30th. it's still on this day.They need more time to arrange everything for bounty claim. Agreed. Shouldn't be a rush to receive the bounties right now since Edgeless isn't even on a major exchange yet. That being said, devs should hit up Bittrex. https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-BittrexThis kind of coin is difficult to get listed on Bittrex, because Bittrex avoid share-like tokens, so they don't list Iconomi either. Liqui could be a good start for Edgeless. I would prefer Kraken or some other major exchange. liqui has small volume. I dont know why some people are keep speaking about bittrex. it doesnt have really high volume |

I wouldn't call this uptrend a stable price! It has doubled in value since the start of this year and it is only the beginning. Iconomi is a very nice project and I like the direction they went with the buyback instead of dividends. i am speaking about icnx. price exploded after bull run of ETH but now stabilized |

Together with token release perhaps? roadmap was already released two days later, the old map will turn into a pumpkin can you elaborate? after 31.03.2017 not coincide with the map i am in constant talk with them on telegram and they seem pretty convincing. you should join there and follow discussion before saying that |

No guarantee you will profit immediately after ICO. This could get dumped well below ICO prices after launch, like most ICO's. IMO this project can't be successful, because they only raise less than 30% of target, with bonus decreases, the project will fail. There are no bonuses. The crowdsale offers one flat price throughout. I think so that is the reason investors are relaxed at the moment but time will pass the more funds will be invested into this project because this is backed by professional team and the idea of this project is totally different than the ongoing projects. I am going to wait as well to see if minimum goal will be reached and then invest. because escrow for pay backs can be pain in the ass |
