The question is what will qubits difficulty be in December.. why increase to 1399? I don't understand the logic.

So, finally, are the D3 delivered with 17,5GH/s or with 15? Or this is only valid for September batches?
From what I read so far, they are 17.5GH with roughly 950W draw I dont know how reliable they are. Some got problems within a couple days, others not... Same like with L3s and S9s I've personally seen a board drop a lot more with my d3 than with my L3s...but as with anything it could easily be the other way around. Luck of the draw (or bad luck of the draw depending). I think my D3 are more sensitive to network drops. A few times both of my D3 would have the infamous xxxx's on one board after a network outage but my L3 would chug on. I got 30 D3's and I've to reset 5 of them everyday because of losing one board. This issue appears common, my l3 works fine after network drop , d3 just drops a board , have to reset, they need babysitting unfortunately

Im actually jealous of the October batch compared to September, at least they got a 1100$ discount, ROI may be easier for them. Depends on future difficulty but hopefully most yet to be shipped miners are mining now which won't skyrocket the hash rate too much. Bring on helium

Does anyone have problem when some miners losing 3rd board and hashing 10-11 Ghs? This happens on many D3 miners, not just on one. Miners works on default settings, temperatures are good, max board temperatures are 65-70C. After I restart D3, all boards working normally again for some time. Is there some firmware upgrade for this problem, anyone have solution for this? D3 is not stable miner at all. L3+ is a lot better device.
I have same problem here even after firmware update unless there's been a new update in past week.

Does anyone know is today the day of Byzantium release on ethereum network? I read it should be released on October 9th. It should reduce blocktime from 30s to 14s (but also reduce reward from 5eth to 3eth per block). It would be increase 24% from current state...
i heard oct 16 or 17

So are you actually selling something, or just the 'concept' of a miner that is not even available yet... In that case, I have some great swamp land to sell for you in the everglades. It will turn into oil soon (give or take a few mill years).. Lol

Yea i just got screwed by paypal i sold a baikal giant+ the guy used it for 2+ weeks then on sept 23 ironically when the dash difficulty went up he claimed it was not working he opened a case on ebay and i won because he admitted it was working when he recwived it. Then he opened a case on paypal i sent paypal the screenshots of him admitting it worked when he received it and he told paypal it was not working when he received it he straight up lied! And paypal said that the screenshot of him admitting it worked when he received it is not proof!!! This guy is a lying piece of shit! Im so pissed about it!!
Did you ask him why waited 2 weeks + then return? Yea he said it was broken i told him it still had a 30 day warranty with baikal and he said he didnt want to "deal" with china and now it is my problem. He originally wanted to pick the miner up in person and pay me with paypal (then claim item mot received i assume) told him he could pay cash and pick it up but he refused hes basically just a scam artist POS Do you mind posting his ebay's username so we could avoid/black list him in future? thanks They will probably just open a new account unfortunately.

Maybe almost every pre paid miner that people are waiting for to be delivered is mining right now, hence the difficulty increase more then expected not saying all but some would definitely be doing this to milk maximum profit before shipping. If this is true it may be a good thing as future batch shipments won't impact the difficulty as much. Also new x11 coins like helium will hopefully spread the hash rate around. Maybe digibyte will add x11 to its list of supported algos , who knows. It's still possible that some people may regret selling their d3s too soon or selling them now at ever decreasing prices. The evolution dash updates due soon, that should help with the dash price.

They never delivered and ignored my attempts of contact, buyer beware. Some have had success with them apparently but I don't trust em.

People were warned but the some of the people didn't wanna listen and just accused people of being selfish and wanting all the profits to themselves. They compared x11 to script and said well the l3+ is still profitable so a d3 should be too ignoring the differences in available coins to mine and the fact bitmain owned the script market because of the l3+ price speed and efficiency. X11 has too much competition now and anyone who kept their Baikals are laughing at us all now.

Damn it people, stop buying these machines! My income per machine went from $50 to like $17. On a more serious note, this crypto hype is really killing us miners, I remember back when my old gtx 970 would earn a shitload daily, especially in today's values (cause I was hodling). Now all new hardware becomes basically obsolete in a few months or revenue falls x times. :/ Problem is even if people stop buying hardware now , there's still a few batches of bought hardware that's yet to be shipped, and then those might be sold cheap which encourages more people to buy and use and so on.

If this continues dash should change its mining rewards. ~40 % block rewards go to miners, that's not enough and with a block halving in two years or so I'd hate to think what profits will be then unless dash skyrockets. Dash devs and master nodes get paid too well..
that won't change the dev of dashcoin likely holds half the coins and i heard he has half the nodes....they won't change imho. (should probably research this ..what I was told anyway about dash) That 10% dash budget is huge, every month they rake in millions to spend on salaries of a few employees and in developing dash. Only 30% of that goes to dash core. They are self funding unlike other coins. They won't change true just saying it would be nice if they did. Anything can change even if it has to fork. It's happened before. https://www.dashforcenews.com/dash-monthly-budget-nears-1-million-30-goes-core/

the d3 is 17% faster then expected, doesn't sound like much but its great for miners, but bad too, that's 17% more then expected difficulty increase, not what people were expecting.. Changes everyone's estimates on roi.

anyone have any idea what is a good dash pool?
or are people just gonna use nicehash?
Mine will be going on www.zpool.ca but I guess I'm biased. Was thinking the same thing...what pool am I going to use. I like nicehash but wondering if some of the dash pools are actually more profitable in the end. Will have to do some searching this weekend before mine come I was having great results from Prohash, then they upgraded their servers a few days ago and it's been a shit storm there for a few days. I retreated to Nicehash until it blows over. I like Nicehash but their fees are terrible. Prohash gives you a lot and they are very versatile. The x11 coins have been bouncing all over the place so I would guess that a switching pool would be optimal. When Prohash isn't having issues they run neck and neck with Nicehash. At least for me. Same experience here with Prohashing. I cannot connect my Antminer to their pool since Friday afternoon. Yep they have gone downhill last few days

It accepts crypto again on order page , their prob taking advantage on everyones recently cheaply bought coins.. thats one way to keep coin prices up.
