I think its more than 2 weeks since Cryptopia application was announced .... Have we earned anything from Cryptopia as to why they are taking so long to list Sirius ??

This cryptopia forum thread shows the HEAT token requested listing on 8/21/2017, but only got listed on 12/7/2017. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/2128?postId=11213Cryptopia said it was because it had to write custom interface code for it, and Sirius isn't a bog standard coin. Cryptopia; "Your coin is one of few the coins that requires us to write custom interface code for your wallet. We are happy to do this and would love to list your coin, but we have been stuck waiting for some development resources to free up. I have re-arranged things and freed up a developer to look into your coin, hopefully they will be able to provide an update by this time next week. We have also raised the price of a listing on paytopia to 5 million dot (about 10 BTC) to slow the flood of new listings coming in."
There was earlier some public nitpicking about "excuses" for non-listing on exchanges finding HEAT harder to integrate, raising the barrier of entry. Nothing of importance, but interesting too see this recent cryptopia reply confirms that hunch.

Looking forward to all the other things the team has been working on too, but at least now Stratis can get more exposure by other projects opting to use Stratis as their ICO platform. Yes, I have a bag of sia, and I expect it will buy me a house in 2020, the signs are all there if you bother to look. The big institutional money is coming into crypto this year, and those guys have certain features required before they can invest, and sia ticks all their boxes, whereas so many other crypto assets have huge red flags. Investing individuals can risk taking punts on ICO and anon coins, but institutional money can't even if they wanted to. SIA sticks out like proverbial dogs balls in this market, great product, great team, easy to understand business model, fully legal distribution through PoW, buy some bro! |

There are FOUR crypto platforms with real world use. BITCOIN RIPPLE NEM WAVES all others are VAPOR SCAM
What about Ardor and Komodo and Stratis, all those three are strong competitors for Waves. NEM is strong too, but ripple is a bank platform and already captured, so it doesn't count, and Bitcoin cash is the real Bitcoin anyway. Jl777 is the best dev in crypto, Sasha in comparison isn't in the same league, and he still won't reopen swaps for Coinomat and NXT assets, so his trust reputation is severely compromised. He doesn't even have a good hairdo like Vitalek. |

Moonboy here speaking: Patience is key and I'm sure other initial believers in crypto will tell you the same, it's not so much the profits (it's really nice side effect though  ) but more of what these coins can do for society. Get in now or get in later, either way the train doesn't seem to be stopping. Sure a few rest stops along the way, but it's still going. The guys from crypto wave 1 (2010-2012) had a chance to become billionaires today. The guys from crypto wave 2 (2013-2017) had a chance to become millionaires today. We're currently in crypto wave 3 now, and the guys from waves 1 & 2 are up-scaling to trillionaires and billionaires over the next 5 years. Someone getting into crypto today can still make good money, but most will lose it all, the golden age is over. |

UCL is a large bureaucratic organisation made up of different factions with agendas driven by personal ambitions, jealousies and hatreds, it isn't a single entity anymore more than a country is. Unlike a business, it doesn't need to justify it's positions with a simple metric like 'profit' so they can pretty much do anything they like, even shoot themselves in the foot like they have with IOTA. |

Good idea, I don't use poloniex and bittrex anymore, so only direct exchange like shapeshift and changelly are possible for me now, I can't stand doing kyc rigmoral to buy and sell my own assets. This is very good news indeed, but can you provide more information? The term 'foundation' conjures up something very specific in my mind - a legal entity registered with a government somewhere in a country operating with the rule of law by known individuals - is this what you guys have setup?
Their Foundation is based on Mauritius, Most probably its an offshore foundation. as for the details of the Foundation its still being updated on their website to reflect all the information about their Mauritius Based SIRX Foundation. Ok, thanks for that info, the devil is always in the details, cryptosphere moves in trends and setting up 'foundations' to add an air of credibility is a new one on the horizon, i'm hopeful this sirius foundation is legitimate and will help long term governance and development of the ecosystem. |

Keep calm and do some basic research, there is no news from sia dev team that indicates anything about burning coins, how could the devs burn coins in other wallets anyway , without a hardfork that destroyed trust in the coin. The emission of sia has been known since day 1 in 2014, there is no good reason to change, the recent price increase is coming from institutional buyers. |

Yes, btch was an experimental fork that revealed the power of komodo assetchains, and the talents of the supernet komodo devs, BUT, that doesn't mean btch is just a science experiment. I expect kmd and komodo ecosystem will get more exposure as barterdex releases continue being more 'grandma' friendly, and btch will get exposure as a great anonymous asset. |
